What are your views on Omi and Chase being a romantic couple? What do you think about people saying Omi is an adult in the show?

I personally don't see it, I have come across a few stories that were very well written. I have a friend who likes it.

It's not my cup of tea. Just like Chack isn't. This show doesn't inspire me to think up romantic ships.* If you want to talk to me about your romantic ships I'm happy to listen. I adore hearing other people's ideas.

*Wuya and Dashi is a rare exception and I blame the exceptionally talented writers in this fandom.

Yes. Omi was alive for 110 years as I recall. He did not physically age, nor did he mentally age. He was, quite literally, frozen in time.

I don't understand the arguments against that, and I don't care to get into arguments about fictional characters unless it's all in good fun.

Look. This is fiction. People sex swap the characters, age up, age down, switch loyalties, put them in zombie apocalypses, turn them into animals, make them into baristas, basically if you can think of a 'what if', chances are it's been written, thought of or drawn already.

The characters are drawings with voices behind them. They're not real, they are fake. They’re certainly not worth trying to hurt actual people over.

And yeah. That's all that comes to mind for me on these subjects.

So I'm gonna be honest. It's just them with their usual dynamic, but as mermaids. I haven't written it yet, so it's still subject to the possibility of changing, but so far, that's what it is.

I don't consider Chronicles canon either.

Also, I think if they were related, Chase would know pretty quickly, and I think he'd tell Omi in a suitably dramatic fashion, one which also conveniently painted the monks as the real villains.

But outside of that scenario, I don't think they're related. Their bond is a choice. I do think they love each other and that they are family, just not biologically.

To me you come off as someone who tries very hard and is sincere but knows how to be cunning and enjoys trickery.

For the Hogwarts House thing. I see you as a Hufflepuff who was almost sorted into Slytherin.

2/22 is cat day! Do you have any kitty Omi headcanons?

Apologies for the late reply! I have 3, actually. 😀

1. I think 😺 Omi enjoyed being groomed by the warriors, though to save his pride he pretended to be affronted by it. Because it's freely given care and affection. Something he doesn't get a lot of in the temple.

2. I think 😺 Omi probably went to sleep better alone, but whenever he woke up, he'd either have some of the warriors surrounding him while being asleep, or he'd be with Chase. I think waking up with comrades around him was probably something he missed upon going back to the xiaolin temple.

3. I think 😺 Omi almost certainly ended up eating meat at least once as a cat. I base this on the fact that cats are obligate carnivores, and while he wasn't with Chase for very long, he was young enough I think he would have given in to his new form's needs.
