thinking about a concept on how karai is just casually haunted by ghosts both in her life and after it because there is something so haunting about being the originator of something that haunts every generation after you, even unintentionally

and i think about how much the karai depicted in the scroll not at all feels like the karai in the show. and something about reverency for a figure that is also representing something that ends up being so damaging

so tldr, karai is haunted by the story of herself basically
