which book only character do y’all think d&d would have butchered the most I for one am absolutely elated they never touched my precious son Tris

This is unconscionable. 💙🥄
one thing ive noticed about theon’s chapters that i havent seen anyone else point out is that there’s never any indication that the nickname “the bastard’s boys” came from anyone but theon himself. the words are never said out loud, by him or anyone else, they’re only ever in theon’s head. like….he has to put in effort to stop calling ramsay a bastard, and yet he STILL does it indirectly by nicknaming his men. absolute chad
if i were ned stark i simply wouldnt have lost the game of thrones i would have just stayed in winterfell and made out with my hot red headed wife insteadÂ
just going to hop on here to say something no in cares about but so much of a song of ice and fire is literally poetry. George RR Martin could have separated them into lines and it would honest to god be poetry. Like Catelyn’s chapter narrating the battle of the whispering woods was so evocative, don’t get me started on daenerys’ chapters. And just throughout George’s style of writing is so poetic. It was a nice surprise because while the story is incredible and many people have touched on how he’s able to build an extensive world and flesh out a his huge cast of characters (which truly is incredible) the writing is the cherry on the cake
