and i can tell you right now, that i'm okay with those nights when i cry alone. the nights when i'm in the comfort of my bed, under more blankets due to the coming winter. i'm okay with the smile i put on after as if nothing is wrong. i'm okay with saying "i'm okay" when i know that i'm not. i'm okay with being the stronger one out of all my friends. i'm okay with holding other people's hands even if they won't hold mine back.

but deep down, i won't lie that i'm scared of this; i've become used to something that i don't necessarily want to be.
