I love the idea of a humanoid Bill Cipher. Like human body with the cool ass suit but the one eyed triangle head. Easily the hottest design. Otherwise, I want the triangle. I know what I am. Again, I am NOT a coward.

I just finished the 5.1 natlan archon quest and WOW. That was brilliant. I obviously have a bias to fontaine but that was so GOOD. the pacing was perfect, and despite kinich, ajaw and kachina being muted, it was such amazing story telling. they really captured the grief, rage, and consequences of war while still balancing the epic and heart rousing battles. the gameplay mechanics during the abyss invasion was so good, it really made me feel panicked the way you might feel facing decisions like that in war. AND CAPITANO? WITH MAVUIKA? i sCREAMED. that was so EPIC!! i cannot wait to watch all of the breakdowns and lore explanations that will come from this!!!

Danglars trying (quite successfully, it must be said, despite annoyances along the way) to manage the other two is such a funny scene, honestly. Especially when drunken Caderousse is interjecting too often and he actually starts praising Dantes (how dare!) and poking holes in the argument.

He's getting so annoyed. It goes from trying to tell him to let them do the talking now:

"My good friend," Danglars remarked, "you are three-quarters drunk; go the whole way and finish the bottle. Drink, but don't interfere with our business, because you need a clear head for what we're doing."

to saving/redirecting the conversation after his next comment:

Fernand rose impatiently to his feet.

"Let him babble," said Danglars, putting a hand on the young man's arm. "And, for that matter, drunk as he is, he is not so far wrong. Absence separates as effectively as death; so just suppose that there were the walls of a prison between Edmond and Mercedes: that would separate them no more or less than a tombstone."

to just outright getting openly annoyed:

"In any event," Caderousse continued, "why they should they put Dantes in prison? He hasn't stolen anything, killed anyone, committed any murder."

"Shut up," said Danglars.

He is SO DONE with this guy ahahahaha.
