Self Aware Wuthering Waves (WuWa)

I don't think SAGAU WuWa is the correct term since SAGAU means self aware genshin au. I think SAWuWaAu is too long, ick.

ᯓ★ For you, you had simply started your gaming journey in WuWa. You made your account, stressed over choosing which rover to play as and entered the world.

ᯓ★ Ah but it was a very different case for the inhabitants of WuWa. Ever since you created your account and first set foot albeit in the Rover's body, there was a sort of sound, a vibration or a frequency that could be heard all over the land, the seas and the skies. Something the inhabitants almost glossed over and the resonators find themselves straining their ears and using their gadgets/gourd to hear.

ᯓ★ It was muffled at first, barely audibly or translatable. Perhaps it was because you were still but a weak human? god? a monster? they have no title for you, yet.

ᯓ★ Of course over time as Rover got stronger, and your union level rose, the frequency they could hear was much clearer. It was a sort of frequency that seemed to come from your mood, your voice, and your area.

ᯓ★ Sometimes they could hear music or disgruntle sounds, and a word clicky noise (keyboard/mouse for laptop players). Sometimes they could hear foreign music, sometimes with rather.. colorful language.

ᯓ★ but sometimes they could hear you, your voice.. Mostly during the times you had something to say, to comment or complain-

"Shit, Rover no!"

or to compliment..

"Lord Scar is just *lip bites*"

ᯓ★ Your frequency is familiar yet strange all together for the sentinels of the world, your sound is familiar to a friend long ago, but again it was different.

Just played WuWa (Wuthering Waves)

Personal opinions ✨:

— Gameplay: I love the gameplay since it's so fun and based on other overworld gameplay from other games, it's different. I'm definitely going to use Genshin to compare WuWa, not cause I want to, but it's honestly the other game I know of the same genre, of course GI and WuWa aren't the same but still same genre and similar mechanics and goal.

WuWa has a three person team, you can easily switch over them even while gliding! and in-battle, it's actually recommended to keep switching characters. WuWa has a fighting mechanic where you use echoes, sometimes to deal damage by turning into monsters for a few seconds! or sometimes to deal support and stuff like that.

— Characters/Character designs:

Scar 💕 nothing else (cause legit, clothes, hairstyle, color scheme, the scars, his eyessss it's just- *chef's kiss* also just a sucker for two-toned hair!)

Fem!Rover is pretty cool. 👑 tho personally I think it would be cool if she didn't have that pony tail or awkward long hair at the back, short haired girls are badass (of course long haired ones are too!)

Though looking at Male!Rover, I think the clothes could use a bit more work or maybe changes.

NPCs don't feel like your usual standard npcs, everybody doesn't look copy-paste, there's no generic body shapes, cause there's an npc with muscles, a more lanky one, the clothes aren't similar to the point of copy paste -or maybe I haven't noticed- but there's that guy with the yellow top, clothes are different in terms of aesthetic, there's that cultural look, somewhat sci-fi or modern look, and cute aesthetic like virina and stuff, I just can't find the right words today-- sorry

— Lore:

Hard to judge the lore since there's only one arc and it's the first patch and all and I genuinely want more lore to compare it like maybe 3 updates worth?

But WuWa has an interesting premise or idea, considering it uses vibration in the story and gameplay.

The Story is interesting, especially with that one village where Scar tells u that creepy ass story.

"you know" you exhaled a soft sigh, you first stared at the fingers that never went farther down, then it trailed up to his wrist, to his arm, to his shoulders, all of which had well toned muscles complimented by scars. You pursed your lips, feeling your self getting warm with want.. with need.

Your eyes met his, his heterochromia eyes crinkled in delight as he patiently waited for you to continue. "That's more of a trade rather than a reward." you pointed out, a fair exchange of ownership, but not a reward.

He laughed "is that so?" he questioned, the hand that held your wrists together retracted, freeing you and so you sat up, his other hand still brushed and touched the area above your chest, sending tingles down your spine.

You nodded your head, as he tilted his head patiently with a smile, coaxing you "then what do you want?" he coaxed you with his sweet voice and lingering touches as you found yourself gulping.

You knew what you wanted, you knew it all too well and you won't let this opportunity slip past your fingers.

You wanted no.. needed control.

Dominance.

Scar was impressed as you straddled him, the towel wrapped around your body ready to slip off it, revealing all of you to him. His hands move to grab your hips, you could feel his warmth through the wet fabric, he was like a heater.

mostly personal opinions, not a real analysis though

Just finished watching season 2 of Blood of Zeus, and rematched it a few more times for the art and certain characters— ehem Hermes ehem— anyways, I love Blood of Zeus, but I understand some of the viewers' grievances like the main character being a Gary Stu, twisting the original myths like with Hades and Persephone and by extension Demeter and Ares, and how their personalities contradicted with what they showed in the previous season (in cases like Ares.)

Personally I'm more offended about their change with Ares, he seems more hostile now and I get he's with the whole he's the legitimate child and so he should take up the throne stuff but I agree with being apprehensive bout him, ares, the defended of women, who killed someone who raped his daughter in the myths, literally attempted to SA Persephone as something unbelievable and a bit annoying.

Demeter on the other hand, Idk, maybe it's because I read lore of Olympus, or something, but I could get behind with how she's represented in BOZ, to be fair, I may dislike her a bit over her winter tantrum that cost the lives of a lot of mortal, it's a bit surprising that I've seen two adaptation or modern retelling about hades and Persephone displayed Demeter as an overbearing or controlling mother (again, BoZ and Lore of Olympus)

On the bright side, getting to see Hermes more? icing on the cake 🎂, so I'll take it— love that poor baby

Low-key surprised about Seraphim having a love interest, who they just introduced to us this season, I kinda agree with that one Tumblr poster where they pointed out it would have been better if they just used his adoptive mom to fuel him.

also, Hermes 💕

I wonder if they're going to permanently kill Heron and have Seraphim be the main character, but the prophecy does state it has to be a demi god or smth iirc, 🤔, it'd be weird if they just make heron survive it and that death shreds his humanity but makes him a full God, I wonder if the writers thought things through
