Voyagers Chapter 2

Wordpress mirror+Chapter 1 since the first chapter was all PNGs and tumblr won't let me upload it.

I'll see you in half a month ish. And next chapter will actually be inked since my scanner can barely pick up the sketches. It will also be drawn on white paper.

Since C9's body finally arrived a week or two ago, I can finally continue this disaster of a BJD project.

On a note, the 1/6 Senmi body in White is a good match for TinyFox white, and the Normal tone is a good match for TinyFox Peach.

The body is PVC despite being strung, so a heads up to those worried about stains. Mines don't have stains so far since there's no coating and it's hard PVC, but just a thing of note.

Also here's a comparison to the old CFDoll body that was supposed to be C9's OG body.

The faceup...I didn't do a good job, but I'll change it if you want me to. Not yet though, I still need some time to improve. I'll introduce you to the others in just a bit.

finished dress. first time making something like this. still need to style her hair and give her a hat or something....oh yeah, and an apron.

A mostly completed Giada! She still needs some stuff but I'm having a bit of trouble with making it atm, so here she is. I wanted to get different eyes for her after seeing how large her eyes were (larger than a DD head) but I took a liking to how it gives her an off look.

Progress on a dress. Its the first time Im making an actual complete dress. Almost done, but its a mess.

I should actually do the proper measurements instead of freehanding. I like very long poofy dresses.

Obitsuroids are really like a scaled down version of bjds. Lots of small shops have a ton of mods and special parts so you can mix and match too.

I'll be posting more regularly since Im feeling much better as of late.

beach and dunes

me being outside and touching grass (or sand]. really windy in the first one. and cold.

an update on these two. got their wigs and did their faces. not really liking C9's faceup but there's always an opportunity to redo it. Just finished sanding his eyewell after finally managing to borrow a dremel and did his faceup after that. their wigs are troublesome to style, since S1's wig is so thin that I can't do the fluffy bob I wanted in her concept art. C9's hair is ok since it doesn't require any cuts, but i probably need to find a better method to style his bangs along with S1's since the glue mix isn't holding her bangs.

I need to do C9's scars on his closed eye but since they're shaped in a way, I need to get some colored pencils and figure out what color to use for his scars. deciding on black, white, or a shade of grey. probably also need to redo his face again or at least his eyebrows. S1 is good to go though. Need to figure out their clothes. I'm planning on an offwhite and black.

There was this really cool fairy ring when i was on a walk. Didnt walk into it though.

Current Projects:

Bitterness [Working Title] -A romance book that shifts into alternate universe science fiction about two strangers. I originally tried making this pure realistic fiction and I lost my mind trying to write it, so I'm rewriting. First draft will be completed by end of this year since I am making pretty good progress on this one.

wondering about the ao3 trending and it turned 15 years old? well, happy birthday ao3, and to another 15 more years (hopefully even more).

got the bodies. CFdoll on the left in white, and Senmi body on the right in cream. The senmi body is really good for posing since it has grooves in the joints that hold the pose and prevents the joints from slipping when you pose it. Basically locks the pose. It has a nice weight and feel to it despite being PVC. Cfdoll is made of ABS and there are some rough bits on it, but not a major issue. C9 still needs sanding for his eye...got to find and get a pen sander later. S1 is ready to go though, and doing a test face up on her to get a feel. Since these heads are made of PVC, they have a lot more varnish layers to protect the plastic since Pvc stains easier than resin. I wonder if I should get a Senmi body for C9 to better match the two and there now being a lighter color in production, but I think its fine for now.

finally got an idea for these two doll heads that came with my lilith order months ago. they were order bonuses. need to do some sanding when im able to.

waiting on their bodies....they will take awhile.

Cutting out eyes is a nerve wracking experience but uh, i think it will look better after some sanding. hopefully. i have quite a bit of plans for these two, which are planned on being matching dolls. still ironing out some kinks for their designs though since hoo boy, i am going to have a hard time replicating it that well.
