One of the least favorite headcanons about FP is that it is often compared to a pet or a kid.

In my opinion, he looks more like a strange creature with melting abilities and toad habits, whose thoughts no one can predict, but at the same time he has developed feelings. In case of danger, he attacks, in case of strong emotions, he will start to melt or behave "strangely" to others (I think the comics from @/ratcate better convey this strangeness in him).

But still, FP is a bit silly as a "human" because he has never left the tower. So some social institutions are not familiar to him in principle.
