Daren Grounded au story when-

The sailors say when the storms roll in, a mysterious giant robot appears. Guiding lost ships back to shore, and then disappearing once more into the mist.

Everyone thinks that it is just a sea tale, a message of hope for when sailors are stuck in storms. Come on, a giant robot that takes ships back to shore? That's science fiction.

But what if it wasn't a story.

You know, reading skybound makes me think more about first contact au. If the autobots and decepticons had woken up earlier, I don't know about medieval, Roman and Renaissance period ... people would consider them knights, Mythological beings. I remember the episode g1 and best wars. Would be amazing if can get more of that.

ordinary human who's just living life as usual comes across a little bug that's not moving. the bug is noticeably still alive when the person double checks, but seems weak. So the person, being kind-hearted, decides to nurse them back to health. They gently move the bug into the sun to warm them up and provide a little food (something according to the bug's assumed preference) The bug, having regained their strength after a while, flies off happily. The person is happy too. Some time later, the human finds themself bug-sized, shrunk down through means of magic. It's a difficult situation as you can imagine, and the person is having a hard time adjusting. Moreover, they want to get back to normal.

And lo and behold, that same bug that they had helped back then once again shows themself. Only now, when the two are on the same scale, is it obvious that this little bug wasn't just a bug. They're actually a tiny person! (either a bug-person who leans heavily towards the bug side or a tiny person who shapeshifts into a bug; something like a selkie perhaps) The tiny person thanks the human for not squishing them and taking care of them back then and vows to help the shrunken human in return.

This is so real right now.

My birthday was last month, and I had a lot of exams around it, so I spent it going onto campus, studying. The next day, one of my professors was asking what I’d done for my birthday the night before and I answered that I’d studied and gone to bed early. He looked horrified on my behalf, even after I explained that my priority was my exams and I’d turned down my dad’s offer to go out because of them.

Maybe this is the wrong platform to pose this question given the average tumblr user but

Is it just me or did our generation (those of is who are currently 20-30 ish) just not get the opportunity to be young in the 'standard' sense?

Like, everyone I talk to who's over 40 has all their wild stories about their teens and 20s, being young and dumb, and then I talk to my friends and coworkers and classmates, and we just... dont.
