I imagine that most Cybertronians prefer to just gently pick up humans and carry them around instead of risking accidentally stepping on them. I’m thinking like those purse dogs except in their hands or in their cabs.
It just becomes habit and I bet this definitely leads to shenanigans where they’ll end up scooping up a new human, scaring the hell out of them. And depending on if they start struggling, it becomes a one mech game of hot potato except they’re trying not to drop the human.
