A Sea Captain Was Once Asked What Would It Take To Sink His Mighty Ship, And He Replied, Just One Tiny

A sea captain was once asked what would it take to sink his mighty ship, and he replied, “Just One Tiny HOLE.”

So as one point making one hole will doom even the most perfect ship to the bottom, as today’s verse also says 'one point' failing against the 'whole law,' will mark you as guilty — and that one small hole will also sink you too.

You see, just following the Ten Commandments or the 'Golden Rule' were never intended to be the path to salvation. Instead, they are a MIRROR to how much we all need a savior to erase the 'holes' of sin in our lives. This is what Christ does for us when we step out of the ship of GOOD WORKS and into the boat of GOD FAITH.

Friend, your good works cannot and will not save you. Only Christ can wipe out all the holes of sin in your life.

Will you choose to remain in the ship of GOOD WORKS, or step into the lifeboat of GOD FAITH?

That choice, as always, is yours.

One morning while eating breakfast, I looked outside the kitchen window and saw my husband sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee reading his Bible. This comforted me with a wonderful feeling knowing that my husband loves the Lord with all his heart and lives his life as a godly man.

Seeing this helps me as a woman to feel safe because 1 Peter 3:7 says that husbands are to treat their wives delicately and with honor. I can think of no greater blessing for a woman than to have a godly husband that lives and practices living his life towards her in that way.

Ladies, choosing your life-long mate is the most significant decision that you will ever make. While loving that person is important, do not be fooled by the emotion of romance, but first seek the answer to the question, “Is This Man GOD’S WILL For MY LIFE?” Seek the LORD’s divine guidance that His Will be done, and not your own by listening to guidance from the Holy Spirt to know for absolute certainty the right path.

When you do you will be blessed with a marriage of Love and a house of PEACE.

What Would Happen If You Fell Out Of A Plane? Well, The Falling Part Through The Air Might Be Excitingthe

What would happen if you fell out of a plane? Well, the falling part through the air might be exciting…the crash landing — Not So Much!

In this illustration, SIN is the Falling and HELL is the Crash, but if you are saved from the falling, then there is no consequence of the crash! This is just how salvation works.

You see, salvation is not about God saving us from hell — although that IS the end result. Rather He is Saving Us From (the fall of) Sin by His love and grace for us.

Sadly many people choose instead to ' fall into sin' and the Bible says that they will indeed “Enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season ” (Hebrews 11:25) However it’s not the fall, but the crash at the end of the fall that kills them. Sin was just the vehicle that got them there.

Friend, no matter how far you have fallen through the dark sky of sin, God can and WILL snatch you and pull you back into the safety of Salvation. It is never too late to avoid the crash into Hell. All you need do is ask and trust him to save you and HE WILL.

What kind of landing are you headed for? Is it a smooth landing in heaven or a certain crash to Hell?

It’s your choice to fly solo, or to fly with the Saviour.

The Iconic Comedian George Carlin Often Derided The Bible By Saying Whenever There Was Something That

The iconic comedian George Carlin often derided the Bible by saying whenever there was something that seemed a bit wacky, he explained it in a mocking tone saying, “Well…It’s MYSTERY.” While a humorous tag line, it raises an interesting question.

Does that mean that because we don’t understand something, therefore it must be UNTRUE?!?

That was the dilemma Sir Isaac Newton faced after discovering the principle of gravity. He proved scientifically it existed, but did not know HOW it worked, and today we STILL don’t understand how it works, yet we all depend upon it! Does that mean gravity is untrue?

Likewise, just because there are parts of the Bible that are not understandable doesn’t mean the entire book is a false fable of fabrications.

The Bible says that all scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16) and that God cannot lie (Titus 1:2), so given that, while we may not totally understand, we can totally trust it is true.

Are you open to trusting God at His Word, even if you do not fully understand it?

Just Like The Transmission Selector In A Car, People Have One Of Three Positions About Jesus Christ.

Just like the transmission selector in a car, people have one of three positions about Jesus Christ.

Either they are in NEUTRAL, meaning they have no feeling or interest one way or another, about Christ or spiritual things, they’re in REVERSE and are moving away from Christ or they are in DRIVE moving towards him. Now think about this for a moment — because each of these is a choice.

Just as we get into our cars and place our hands on the gear selector, in the physical world we have to make a conscious choice which gear to select depending where we want to go. The same is true in your spiritual (or lack of) spiritual life as well.

Life is full of choices, and the most important choice you can make is to determine what will happen after your physical life on earth is over. While you can be right about thousands of things in this life, If You Are Wrong About Christ, It Doesn’t Matter What Else You Are Right About.

Friend, you need to make a choice about Christ. Will you make a choice to stay neutral, move away from him or move towards him?

It’s hard to know what the future will bring when life suddenly throws you a curve. Just when everything is going along fine and dandy, the rug suddenly slip out from under your feet and unexpected things will inevitably happen completely out of the blue. Our response to those things will be determined on how we have prepared ourselves of how much the word of God has been built up inside of us. Will we stand firm in our faith or will we experience fear?

When life is difficult, we look to God and find out that He has grace. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Bible tell us that His grace is sufficient for you, for his power is made perfect in our weakness. First, we must give our situation and life to God; this is the hardest part, because we feel more secure of we think we are in control of things. Once we give these things over to Him, He is going to give us the ability to stand up and endure.

So, no matter what is going on in your life, remember that all things are temporary. Keep your focus on Jesus and not on any negative circumstances. God is faithful and He will always see you through by bringing you into the season of blessing, so rejoice and praise Him for the season you are in, even it is very hard and trying. Be strong and be brave and remember that He is right there by your side with you and expect Him to see you through.

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills from where comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1
