It’s the middle of the night. Chiron should probably get some sleep. Looking out of his window he sees two boys, they’re stargazing. Achilles! He thinks. Patroclus!

It’s only then that he realises that Patroclus’ skin is way too white and as glorious as Achilles was, he definitely didn’t light up like a glow stick in the night. It’s not them. It’s just Nico and Will.

It’s been over 2000 years, they’re dead, Chiron, they’re dead.

Give me soft modern au patchilles:

-Achilles being a good artist (or at least liking to draw) and having all sorts of sketches of Patroclus in all his many sketchbooks or really any loose paper he has on hand there’s even sketches of Pat in books because Achilles just thinks his boyfriend is the most beautiful person to ever walk the planet

-Achilles maybe not being the greatest at shaving his face so Pat does it for him and they both love it. The closeness, the touching…and ofc Patroclus loves gently teasing Achilles over his inability to shave his own face.

-Patroclus having several photos of Achilles on his phone, and also having several Polaroids of him as well. Achilles is just so effortlessly beautiful and he can’t help but capture it as often as he can.

-Patroclus knowing how to knit and him making all sorts of stuff for Achilles hats, sweaters, socks, scarves, blankets…and Achilles cherishes all of it. And will take every chance he can to brag about his very talented boyfriend (‘Oh, nice sweater!’ Achilles, ‘Thanks, my boyfriend made it for me. Actually he’s made made 23 sweaters, 16 scarves, 19 hats, 12 pairs of gloves, 30 pairs of socks, and 11 blankets, he’s so talented and-)

-them spending quiet Sundays together. It’s their little tradition. They do their socializing on Friday night and Saturday. But Sundays are just for each other. They’re usually content to stay home and cuddle and watch their favorite shows and movies together. And play board games together and plan for the week ahead. They also usually order takeaway on Sundays as well. They’ll go for a walk if the weather is nice, or a drive if it isn’t. They’ll enjoy lunch in their garden together. It’s just…so nice for them and helps them ensure that their lover is getting enough attention and quality time with them.

-together they have a pretty vast vinyl collection and if they can’t sleep or are bored they’ll put one on and dance together.

-them just completely and wholeheartedly supporting one another in their endeavors whether it be academic, athletic, career/job related. They’re just so supportive of each other.

-them keeping little mementos from each date they go on and they have a box filled with ticket stubs, receipts, Polaroids or pictures in general, and other little things from dates and sometimes they go through it just to reminisce

-Achilles always getting Patroclus a bouquet of flowers every Friday morning and Pat preserving each one

-when in high school and college Achilles played sports and Pat attended every practice, game, tournament, and playoff. Never missing a single one. Always there to cheer his love on and give him good luck kisses.

James, telling Sirius about a shiny rock Regulus gave him: “Thankfully I read somewhere about this, otherwise I wouldn’t have known what it meant!”

Sirius,confused: “What? What does it mean??”

James, in love: “Penguins give shiny rocks to their mates and use them as the base stone for their nests!”

Sirius: “Oh that’s so boring. I would’ve thrown a brick at Remus and shouted “Ha! Take that dude!!” And ran away..”
