Update 2.

Update 2.
I added custom cursors! You think it would be pretty short and easy to add something that simple, but it took me quite a bit to figure out.

Red dragon flying around my Pothos Mix!

I will be making a game!
I wanted to do something more with my art, so I decided to make a game since I’m a computer engineering major and know a bit about programming!
I love Stardew Valley, so this will be something like that. I want to focus on the animals since Stardew doesn’t do too much with them. I grew up playing Sonic Adventure 2 and Dragon City, so I want to make it to where you somehow change the appearance of the animals over time.
Here is the first asset I have made for it! Please give me some game development and pixel art tips since I don’t know anything about them!🐓

More old art because I have been super busy! I drew this while listening to the audiobook of Jurassic Park from an Audible free trial lol

Update 1.
Got a quick update here! I finally got the basics set up. We got a little stick figure character as our temporary player, and it moves now. Remember to normalize your vectors or going diagonally will move your character faster than you want (see Pythagorean theorem)!
I’m also chipping away at the animations for the chicken! We got forwards movement and now side to side. Now I see why games take so long to make.
