Remus’ pet rocks!

The Duke Headcanon

I thought of this yesterday and I found it so funny that I was on the floor almost crying.

So I think that each side has a 'pet', deceit has snakes, virgil has spiders etc. So then I thought what pet would remus have?

...ROCKS, he would have pet rocks, each one represents a side, they all have googly eyes for eyes, his one has a little mustash made of pipe streamer, virgils has black eyeshadow under the googly eyes and a tiny hood. Logans has a little tie, Patton has a little cardigan and they both have tiny glasses.

For deceit's one Remus took apart one of the googly eyes and painted the white bits yellow for his contact and his scales are made out of green sequins and glitter, he also has a tiny top hat.

Roman's has a little sash but he didnt put too much thought into Roman's because he one day just sets the rock down on the table were Roman is sitting, Roman is look at him like.. wtf, Remus just looks him deadass in the eye, takes out his mace and smashes the rock in front of him. This has been my Ted talk hope you enjoyed.

*sips aged Whiskey while eying all the pretentious fine wine drinkers*

The burn of enemies to lovers and dark romance hit me in the back of the throat.

*sniffs fanfiction like a fine wine*

Do I detect a hint of… bedsharing? Mutual pining perhaps?

There's something Virgil isn't telling the other sides. But he's been trying to spend more time with them lately.

He asks Roman to spar a little bit just for fun, but he turns him away because he's got a project.

He asks Patton if he wants to have a whole day where they make a mess of the kitchen but Patton's distracted with fuelling Thomas with his passion for his craft!

He asks Logan to tell him about the stars, but he denies it because he's gotta work on the schedule for the next week.

He goes Deceit to try and fix his mistakes. Deceit tells him off, he made his bed now lie in it.

He tries to go to Remus for the same reason, and Remus doesn't even let him speak before he tells him to fuck off.

Finally he just tells Thomas he's doing great and he's gonna keep doing great and he's proud of him.

Before Thomas can ask what's going on Virgil is gone.

And then he's gone for real.

And Deceit and Remus realize their mistake, and while everyone is grieving and trying to figure out what happened, those two are hit the hardest because they lost a chance to make things better.
