8 bit horror girls! Who do you know?

Soooo...I didn’t intend for six to look all beat up but I made a few mistakes and tried to cover those up. Then I reasoned that see probably should have cuts and bruises and blood and grime on her. She’s bare foot and going around a frankly disgusting ship, and taking risks to escape. We’ve seen her survive falls, she earned those bruises.

I enjoyed making this though. My first time trying to draw ghosts too, I think I like them.

yo what about a familial dark sides au where REMUS is the oldest

instead of deceit being the tired wine mom we all know and love, we have remus being a big brother figure trying to raise deceit and virgil without scaring them by being himself

remus would have to learn how to act somewhat normal. he would still be him, obviously, but not so much that virgil is scared of him. as the two grow up they get more and more used to it, until its completely normal when he says his usual stuff. its like torretes. they know he cant control it and are ok with it.

because of this, virgil wouldn't be scared of remus and they would become hella close, with remus being the big brother and virgil and deceit being sarcastic shits that he has to look after.

remus would obviously be a chaotic big brother, but would also be REALLY protective

'hey guys, want me to show you how to juggle knives?'

'no, NO NO DECEIT GET THAT FIRE AWAY FROM VIRGIL HE MIGHT GET BURNT!'

'in this household, you dont get in trouble for breaking things. you get in trouble for shittily trying to replace the thing you broke without my help.'

'i mean... sure you can play with the gasoline. just wear eye goggles.'

'WHAT DO YOU MEAN DECEIT GOT A PAPER CUT? SHIT GET THE MED KIT'

'what are you talking about having some wine? deceit. you're 15 years old. its time for you to try vodka.'

'virgil, i get you're anxious, but you need to understand, anybody that tries to hurt you, i'll just snap their neck!'

when virgil does move to the light side, he and his family are still on good terms, but because of virgils chaotic upbringing he does odd shit when hes bored, causing patton to be way more concerned than he should be

'logan i dont know what to do. hes balancing a knife on his forehead! he might get hurt but i dont want to scare him of...'

'uhhhh kiddo? theres some weird noises coming from your room? o-oh? the, um, the alligator you were playing with earlier? oh... that- thats nice...'

'virge, i- i, um, i know it might be something you used to do in the dark side... but maybe you shouldn't sit on the ceiling fan? i just think its a little dangerous and- what are you doing? no, kiddo i dont think you should do that. no, dont turn it on, virgil dont- oh god'

all the light sides assume the dark side is a free for all, so whenever virgil mentions any family storys from his home they get really confused,

until one day virgil mentions something stupid and dangerous that he and deceit tried to do when they were younger, and how remus came barreling in and literally wrapped them in bubble wrap because he didnt want them to get hurt and romans like 'why would my brother care?' and virgil goes like

'are you kidding? hes an over protective asshole. i mean yeah he let us play with knives sometimes but he also refused to let us watch horror movies until we were 17. deceit DID sneak one into my room when we were 13 and we watched it, but remus found out the next day because i had a nightmare and he had to stay up till 4 am comforting me. being raised by him was an interesting as fuck experience but i loved it.'

and everybodys like

'you were raised by remus? as in? dark creativity remus? intrusive thoughts remus? and he was over protective????????'

after that patton invites all the dark sides over for dinner to reconcile. it turns into remus just telling story's about deceit and virgil being little shits while growing up, and virgil and deceit in turn telling story's of remus being a protective big brother while the light sides stare in awe at how differently the 3 act around each other when their comfortable

at the end of the dinner remus and roman have a chat and roman apologises for always considering him as a bad person. deceit and virgil high five in the backround because hes finally getting the recognition he deserves.

i would also like to add that virgil and deceit 100% have a secret handshake that includes all six of deceits arms. whenever remus brings it up in front of the light sides the 2 adamantly deny it, but the gig is up when the two instinctively do it in front of everybody after successfully scaring the fuck out of remus by pretending deceit accidentally snapped virgils arm for a prank.

Not my best work but I didn’t try to hard. I didn’t want to do the reactions sorry. Maybe later I’ll do them. Hope you enjoy!

There's something Virgil isn't telling the other sides. But he's been trying to spend more time with them lately.

He asks Roman to spar a little bit just for fun, but he turns him away because he's got a project.

He asks Patton if he wants to have a whole day where they make a mess of the kitchen but Patton's distracted with fuelling Thomas with his passion for his craft!

He asks Logan to tell him about the stars, but he denies it because he's gotta work on the schedule for the next week.

He goes Deceit to try and fix his mistakes. Deceit tells him off, he made his bed now lie in it.

He tries to go to Remus for the same reason, and Remus doesn't even let him speak before he tells him to fuck off.

Finally he just tells Thomas he's doing great and he's gonna keep doing great and he's proud of him.

Before Thomas can ask what's going on Virgil is gone.

And then he's gone for real.

And Deceit and Remus realize their mistake, and while everyone is grieving and trying to figure out what happened, those two are hit the hardest because they lost a chance to make things better.

So I colored the sunflower with craft smart acrylic paints and burned my Handle into another piece of wood and colored it with alcohol markers. Just tested my new word burning tool... I’m pretty sure the nib was loose and the plastic handle was heating up enough that I decided to put on some cotton gloves for protection just in case. I got a cheap one so the quality probably wasn’t the greatest. I free style burned a eye. I didn’t expect it to turn out all that great but it’s pretty decent. Remus’ pet rocks!

The Duke Headcanon

I thought of this yesterday and I found it so funny that I was on the floor almost crying.

So I think that each side has a 'pet', deceit has snakes, virgil has spiders etc. So then I thought what pet would remus have?

...ROCKS, he would have pet rocks, each one represents a side, they all have googly eyes for eyes, his one has a little mustash made of pipe streamer, virgils has black eyeshadow under the googly eyes and a tiny hood. Logans has a little tie, Patton has a little cardigan and they both have tiny glasses.

For deceit's one Remus took apart one of the googly eyes and painted the white bits yellow for his contact and his scales are made out of green sequins and glitter, he also has a tiny top hat.

Roman's has a little sash but he didnt put too much thought into Roman's because he one day just sets the rock down on the table were Roman is sitting, Roman is look at him like.. wtf, Remus just looks him deadass in the eye, takes out his mace and smashes the rock in front of him. This has been my Ted talk hope you enjoyed.
