OK so haven't got there but I think I'm wrong but we'll see
John calling himself The Archivist instead of head archivist of the Magnus institute because he has accepted the fact that he Is The Archivist above else??????
Sad. Soul crushing. He's The Archivist. He's not even fully human anymore
Also him having more powers + the fact that they explicitly mention the eye hasn't had an attempt at a ritual like the others... Much to think about.
Can y'all believe that John Walker did that. Like.
The kid had just said he looked up to Captain America to straight up be MURDERED IN COLD BLOODBY SOMEONE WEARING THE SHIELD.
Jujana don't you dare read this, it involves very BIG spoilers about Merlin's last ep and I know you don't care about spoilers, but I do, and I want you to experience as much of the show as spoiler free as you can. Love ya.
Anyways
Shoutout to Merlin who sacrificed everything he had and everything he was not only to keep Arthur alive but to keep him as happy as possible and then every choice he made led to Arthur's untimely demise, leaving the profecy unfulfilled and all of his sacrifice basically amounting to nothing. He's technically still roaming the earth in the story babe I hope you got some closure.
Also this is why I read fanfics.
Hadn't thought of it that way but Yes.
The fact that 2021 begun with a sea shanty renaissance and three months later ships are back on the 1700 trade routes is, actually, extremely funny.
