I was not prepared to cry most of the episode. Not prepared at all.
I also wasn't prepared for so much sambucky ship content from the second they met again. Rolling in flowers like that?? Also that scene when they kept walking and John Walker drove beside them I was like this is a rom-com scene. And especially with that last interaction with him I was like this is just like Leagally Blonde. I love that.
God, Buck was so offended with every single word JW said.
They did the thing! The got Isaiah Bradley and also Elijah!!! Look at all that Young Avengers things!!! Also I was absolutely crying through that whole thing and then cried some more because of the cops.
I was actually a little surprised with Sam and Bucky's dynamic, it was better than I thought it would. Though I should have known better because of the scene in endgame.
I'm so suprised they actually managed to make the "couple's therapy" scene way better then in the trailers. It was already great and they made it amazing. Did I mention I cried in this episode?
Also Sam was not awared about Bucky's nickname in Wakanda and goes "what" when Bucky corrected him. It was beautiful. Also also: DID SAM ACTUALLY MANAGED TO SNEAKED UP ON BUCKY!?!?! I'm shook. Bucky was also shook.
the only times sam was actually feeling good was when he was flying but trough the rest of the show his shoulders didn’t seem to relax, he always seemed to be preparing for something even his smile seemed so hard to show like the only time i remember him really genuinely smiling when he wasn’t flying was when he saw his nephews, sarah and his friends at the dock but the rest was him smiling bc he just- likes to smile? like if he smiles its making him think that everything is fine even tho he can’t keep anything together
I don’t have that big of an issue with Bucky being a flawed character and making mistakes in tfatws, because I hope it’s just a part of a bigger characer arc where he learns more about Sam and realizes he needs to apologize.
… What I do have a problem with are fans of Bucky, who will go and excuse his wrong behaviour or just ignore that he isn’t perfect in the first place. Do better. I saw more fans of Sam pointing out Sam’s mistakes than people who love Bucky criticizing Bucky’s worse moments. And it’s pretty easy to point out which of these two made more errors in the first 3 episodes. (A clue: it’s not Sam.)

She is a beautiful and awesome person/character and was just poorly written and under used.
I'm glad i was wrong to hate her and i hope to love her more as the show goes on.

- Bucky rolls up with cake and the kids swarm him like he's been around for years. - Sam and Bucky exchange a hug. - Bucky hands out with Sarah with children literally hanging off of him and they're laughing and chatting like family. - Bucky comes up behind Sam while he's thinking and Sam gives him a smile when he realizes who it is. - They literally walk off with Sam's arm around Bucky???????????
This whole scene had the biggest Gay Uncles™ vibe and you cannot convince me otherwise.
(also seeing how joyful Sam and Sarah are, my whole heart is gonna explode).
