20. A Hyde | 22. You Sound Ridiculous

"A Mocha, please." I walk up to Tyler working.
"That's different." He gives me a look, "You okay?" He asks making my drink.
"Not really. Apparently I can get hurt in my visions. Wednesday is set on believing Xavier is the Hyde, which is the name of the monster, our uncle told us. Enid wants to move in with Yoko and I because Wednesday doesn't care she almost got us killed. Xavier tried to kiss me again last night but finally got the hint I don't see him the same way. Also thinking about how the Hyde has some master that unlocked them and they kinda have a split personality because they're like Jekyll and Hyde. There's just a lot on my mind and Hot Chocolate isn't going to do the job." I rant everything to him.
"How about we schedule another date tonight? Take you mind off of everything for a few hours. Escape from the world and it's problems? Where we can just be us having fun? What do you say?" He puts my drink on the counter.
"I'd love that." I give him a smile taking me drink.
"A quick question... Why did you kiss me that night?" He makes me turn to face him.
"Did you not want me to?" I give him a wink going to sit down in a booth.
After some time Wednesday and Uncle Fester come in sitting at my booth as I come back from the bathroom. "Just gotta take my spot." I sit next to her as she looks at the diary.
"Kinbott has to be Xavier's master. The Hyde lays dormant until unleashed by a traumatic event or unlock through chemical inducement or hypnosis." She reads.
"That's what I saw in the cave. Well, blurry saw and heard. The Hyde was scared of who was hurting them. But I still don't believe it's Xavier or Dr. Kinbott." I tell her as we watch Uncle Fester drink the ketchup, "Eww."
"She must've figured out he's a Hyde and used hypnotherapy to unlock him. That would explain their secret sessions." She tells him.
"Or he just needs therapy when she's off work" I roll my eyes.
"I think the kid behind the counter has clocked me. Yeah. He's walking over. I'm gonna put him in a Romanian sleeper hold. Cover me." Uncle Fester tells us as Tyler walks over.
"Relax. He's not interested in you." Wednesday tells him.
"Made you a quad and you another Mocha. On the house." Tyler puts down the drinks.
"Hey, thanks kid. Need a refill on this puppy too." Uncle Fester takes Wednesday drink and hands Tyler the ketchup bottle.
"Tyler, this is our Uncle Fester." I introduced him to him.
"Oh. Uh... Hi, it's nice to-," Uncle Fester zaps Tyler as they shake hands.
"Was that necessary?" I ask him as he chuckles.
"Is that the Hyde. Val, told me it's name." Tyler sits next to me and looks at the diary. "
That sides ugly..." I hear him think to himself as he looks at the pages closer. "That's it. From that night." He tells us.
"Your father gave you explicit instructions not to be near us." Wednesday tells him.
"Wait, he said that about me too?" I look at Tyler.
"For one; my dad's not here, and I'm on a break. Two; just not to be near you when she's with you. Alone I can be near you." He tells Wednesday then me.
"So technically not us, just you." I look at Wednesday.
"Did she tell you about the master part?" Wednesday flips the page.
"Yeah, she kinda mentioned that." He leans closer to me to look at the book with us.
I turn my head slightly to look at him and we smile at each other but we're interrupted by his father coming in calling his name, "What did I say?" The three of us look over to see Uncle Fester disappear.
"For the record, Valentine was here alone first then when Wednesday showed up she was trying to keep her distance. I was the one that sat down with them." Tyler says as the three of us get out of the booth.
"All right. Putting these up around town. It's a bank robbery suspect, and he's a real creep. You haven't seen him, have you?" His dad shows us a wanted flyer of our uncle.
"No." Wednesday and I say at the same time.
"Yeah, he's be pretty hard to miss. I'll pin it on the bulletin board." Tyler tells his day who just huffs leaving.
"Is there ever a time when he's not miserable? I normally like to see people miserable, but I'm getting tired of him." I turn to look at Tyler.
"Nope, that's him 24/7." He rolls his eyes.
"Thank you. But you didn't have to do that." Wednesday tells him about lying about seeing Uncle Fester.
"Your family's very... colorful." He tells her.
"Ironic considering Fester's the black sheep. He's harmless." She takes her seat back in the booth.
"Harmless? He electrocuted me." Tyler says walking over to put the wanted flyer up.
"He does that for fun. So about our date? You do remember I can't sneak off campus right because of Wednesday? Weems trusts me but is worried about my safety." I turn to face him.
"You won't have to. I'll come to you. 9pm, Crackstone's Crypt." He turns to face me with a smile taking my hand into his.
"You're killing me." I laugh as how I was feeling inside.
"How long do you have to live?" He steps closer to me.
"I don't know but if you keep acting like this not much longer." I let go of his hand walking back over to Wednesday.
"What are you smiling about? I hate it. It creepy." Wednesday looks up at me.
"Nothing."
-
"You're really sneaking off campus?" Enid watches me to get ready to leave for my date with Tyler.
"That's the thing, I'm not leaving campus. Now excuse me, I have a date." I leave my room heading out to the woods to meet Tyler.
The entire time was heading out it felt like someone was watching and following me. "9pm on the dote." I walk up to Tyler, who was smiling.
"Great, now you have to close your eyes." He holds out a single flower.
"Are you serious?" I ask him.
"Unfortunately." He smiles more.
"I'm only doing this because I like you." I take the flower from him closing my eyes.
"Watch your step." Tyler puts his hand on my back helping, "Wait here. Keep your eyes close." I hear him open the doors, "Okay." He helps lead me inside. "Right here. One second. Don't open them yet." He leaves me to close the doors. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." He tells me so I do to see he decorated the inside with lights and had a blanket with popcorn set up with a projector. I look over at him taken back by his effort. "What? No one's ever taken you on a picnic inside a crypt before?" He makes me smiles, "How do you feel about scary movies?" He asks as the doors open revealing Wednesday so Tyler looks at me confused.
"This is what you snuck out to do and was secretive about?" Wednesday makes a face.
"That was you following me? Okay now you see what I'm doing. You can leave now." I give her a smile glaring at her.
"I love scary movies so I think I'll stay. Just ignore me on your little date. You won't even know I'm here." Wednesday walks to go take a seat way from the picnic.
"Wednesday, why are you staying here for our date?" I ask her annoyed.
"I'm bored, okay. Its odd not having Enid in the room. If you repeat that I will kill you." She glares at me.
Tyler walks over pulling down the sheet for our screen, "We can just ignore her. She's deadly quite anyways. It will be like she's not even here." Tyler takes my hand into his leading us to the blanket.
"You're right." I agree with him.
"Now, prepare to be horrified. He tells me as he starts the movie.
As soon as it starts I make a face at the song that starts letting me know wasn't a scary movie but was going to be one to me. I turn my head to see Tyler smiling at my reaction to the movie, Legally Blonde.
"Stop laughing." I give him a playful shove.
-
"That was torture." Wednesday says once the movie was over.
"You could have left." I tell her so she darts straight out of the crypt.
"Why didn't she do that an hour ago?" Tyler laughs turning off the projector.
"Because she enjoys torture. And I know that was hell for us but I'm kinda use to the color pink now because of Enid." I stand up from the ground.
"Did you enjoy it?" He walks up to me.
"I kinda liked parts of it oddly. Eww, I hate saying that." I cover my face.
"Then next weekend we can watch the second one." He chuckles making me look at him.
"They made two?" He nods his head before getting serious.
"I'm just gonna come out and say it. I want us to be more than friends."
"What if you randomly snap out of it one day?" I say getting slightly scared.
"Don't do that." He tilts his head looking at me.
"I'm new to this and I don't want to get hurt for the first time." I look down so he tilts my chin up to look at him.
"You can't keep trying to push me away. It's not going to work. You're feelings are just going to keep growing stronger just like mine for you." He looks me in the eyes leaning down some so I lean up connecting our lips. It felt so right kissing him, the way our lips moved together.
I pull back smiling at him as he rests his forehead on mine. "Am I making a mistake?" I ask and it comes out as a whisper.
"No, you're not." He goes in to kiss me again but the doors open with lights blinding us.
"What the hell? Tyler." His dad sees us as we both block the lights.
"Dad? What are you doing here?" Tyler asks him as his dad looks around the crypt.
"The school groundskeeper found the motorbike by the lake. It matches the description of the one the bank robber stole. There's a canoe missing. Figure he might be on the Raven Island. I'm not even going to ask what this is, but I never saw the two of you here. You got it?" He points at us. We nod our heads at him. "Unbelievable. Come on." His dad and his deputies leave us alone.
I look at Tyler stating to giggle about the whole situation making him chuckle pulling me into his chest. "You know he's not thrilled to catch us." I look up at Tyler wrapping my arms around his waist.
"He'll have to learn to get over it." He looks down at me so I lean up to kiss him.
"I should probably go to let my uncle know they're looking for him. He's on school grounds as we speak so." I move away from Tyler.
"Then I don't want to keep you. Talk to you tomorrow." He tells me so I give him one more kiss.
"Of course. Good night and thank you for tonight." I head out.
As I walk into the bee shed I see Uncle Fester, Wednesday crying and Thing bloody. "What happened?" I panic.
"Someone broke into my room and stabbed Thing from behind." Wednesday wipes her eyes.
"What a coward! But the reason I'm here, Uncle Fester, you need to leave. They found your motorbike so the sheriff won't be far. Maybe next time steal something a little less conspicuous." I let him know.

17. Under Arrest | 19. Split Up?

I was just chilling in my bed when a note slid under my door. I get up to see it read, If you want answers, meet inside Crackstone's crypt. Midnight. I leave my room and run into Wednesday and Enid, "Did you get a note as well?" I ask her and she nods her head.
The three of us head out with our flashlights to see what it was about. Wednesday and I go in while Enid stayed outside. There was slight movement but no one we could see so we called out to them. "Try anything and you'll lose limbs." Wednesday adds.
"Surprise!" Divina, Xavier, Kent, Ajax, and Yoko come out singing happy birthday while Enid brings out a cake.
"I should have known you were behind this." Wednesday flashes her light at Thing then tells him she wanted no party.
"I thought my cake design was pretty inspired." Xavier smiles.
"The pink balloon was my little touch. Why don't you two make a wish?" Enid asks but something else catches Wednesday's eyes.
"Fire will rain, when I rise." She reads.
"That's not really a wish." Enid tells her.
"Wait, we're never eating that cake, are we?" Ajax speaks up. Wednesday gets a vision confusing everyone but Xavier and I. When she comes back she leaves us all.
"Thank you guys for this but Wednesday doesn't care for good happy birthdays." I let them know.
"You still wanna make a wish?" Enid holds the cake out to me. I close my eyes then open them.
"I'm not telling it or it won't happen." I give her a smile.
"So can we eat the cake without Wednesday since we have Valentine?" Ajax adds.
"Why not?" I say so we eat the cake together and hangout before going to bed.
-
"Birthday girl." Xavier smiles as I walk out to head to town.
"Please, don't call me that." I give him an ugly look.
"Sorry. Where you off to?"
"Into town." I tell him and he just nods his head.
"To do?" He puts his hands into his pockets.
"See Eugene then swing by the Weathervane for a drink and a snack. I don't plan to doing much today. Normally on my birthday, I isolate myself. I like it that way." I explain to him.
"Okay, I hope you enjoy being alone." He chuckles.
"I will." I leave his side.
I swing by the hospital to check up on Eugene and every time I came by to see him I would get upset even though I knew he was going to be fine. "Don't worry about your babies. Wednesday and I have been taking care them for you. I can't wait till you wake up." I give him a smile then leave the hospital.
Walking into the Weathervane I take a seat in a booth resting my head on the table before pulling out my sketchbook. As I sketch Tyler comes up to the table, "I know you only drink hot chocolate, but I've been working on this all week." He sets my drink down that says happy birthday as he sits across from me.
"Let me guess, Thing told?" I put my book down.
"Who do you think delivered the cake? Yeah, I went with the 98% dark chocolate ganache knowing both of your preferred color palette."
"It was alright... I normally don't like dark chocolate though. It's too bitter for me but it was still good. Thank you, now I don't want to drink this because it will get messed up. I mean you said it took you a week." I look at my drink.
"I'll be more hurt if you don't drink it. Enjoy my hard work." He motions to it so I do.
"Not bad." I make him laugh.
"What's your birthday plans for the day?" He changes the topic.
"Went to see Eugene in the hospital then came here for a drink and snack. Then I plan on isolate myself away. That's now I normally spend my birthdays after the stupid songs and cake and party." I explain to him.
"So, if I asked you out to a non-birthday, song-free dinner... would that be something you're interested in?" He asks with a slight smile.
"That means you really like this boy, dear. Don't be afraid to act on them... especially romantic ones." I hear my mothers words replay in my head.
"That does sound like something I'm interested in." I give him a smile causing him to get the biggest smile ever.
"Really?" He scans my face trying to see if I was joking or not.
"Yes, Tyler. I would like to go to a non-birthday, song-free dinner." I chuckle at his face.
"YES! SHE SAID YES!" I hear him screaming to himself on the inside making me laugh me. "Great. I should get back to work then." He gets up from the table happily.
I continue to stay at the Weathervane since I got alone time to sketch. Wednesday ends up coming in at some point taking a seat across from me. "You go visit Eugene?" I ask her so she just nods her head reading a Pilgrim's Journey.
"I know you're usually a quad kind of girl, but I've been working on that all week. Valentine can confirm since she saw hers earlier." Tyler brings her one taking a seat next to me.
"Birthday, yes. Happy, never." She tells him.
"He delivered the cake. He went with the 98% dark chocolate ganache knowing both of our preferred color palette." I add making him smile at me.
"Is that Enid's gift?" Tyler looks at her gift.
"It's perfect if you're fleeing a war-torn country on foot." She tells him.
"I haven't gotten one yet and I've been her friend longer." I mumble to myself.
"Come on. Don't you like a day that's all about you?" He asks her.
"Every day is all about me. This one just comes with cake and a bad song." She tell him.
"Got it, you both hate celebrating your birthdays." He nods his head.
She looks at her book before sliding him a drawing of the gate, "Have you seen that before?" She asks as he looks at it.
"Uh... What's that supposed to be?" He makes her take it back.
"It's a gate, you dummy." I give him a look as she goes back to reading.
"I'll leave you two alone then. Text you later." Tyler gets up leaving us. When the Sheriff comes in Wednesday goes over to him while I get my stuff to head back to the school.
"Enid!" I shout walking into the room.
"Oh, here's your gift! You went in to town before I could give it to you." She rush over handing it to me.
"Thank you. So I have a dinner tonight with Tyler." I say making her squeal.
"Let's go find an outfit." She drags me to my room to go through my closet. "Everything is black." She groans.
"You don't say."
"This is a cute dress." She pulls out one and I agree. "Then you're wearing this tonight." She hands it to me, "Well put it on so I can see how you look in it." She snaps her fingers at me. Once I was in my outfit she smiles, "Perfect." She claps her hands.
"I need you to do me a favor." Wednesday walks into my room then eyes me.
"A favor?" I tilt my head.
"Yes, see if Xavier has seen this." She hands me the drawing of the gate.
"Why me?" I ask confused.
"I don't want to talk to him." She leaves the room.
"I'll finish getting ready after I go on a quest for my sister." Enid and I leave my room.
As I walk to Xavier's shed, Thing joins me making me roll my eyes, "She send you?" I ask and he gives me a thumbs up. When I get to Xavier in the shed he didn't hear me come in because he was listening to music loudly. He catches me out of the corner of his eye so he looks over at me eyeing me.
"Wednesday sent me to ask you for help." I tell him walking over holding out the drawing she did so he turns off his music.
"Her line work's a little shaky." He jokes.
"She wants to know if your recognize it." I tell him so he motions to the one he did on the wall. "When did you draw that?" I ask him.
"Couple days ago. The dreams started again." He lets me know.
"Do you know where that is?" I look at him.
"Yeah. It's the old Gates mansion. I pass it when I go running. Why?" He looks at me.
"She saw that in a vision." I say before Thing snaps to get our attention.
He pulls a sheet off a painting to show a big art work of me drawing alone outside Wednesday and Enid's bedroom window. The only two who knew I ever did that to escape from the world really late at night. I walk over to look at it and had mixed feelings.
"Okay. Listen... After the dance, I just wanted to forget about you, but I couldn't. So I started painting and that's what came out." He tells me, "I've happen to see you a few times when I go out on the roof to get air when I get nightmares." He sighs then makes the painting move. Me in the painting does certain motions I do when I'm focused. "You just look happy when you're alone in your own little world away from everything."
My phone goes off and I see it was from Tyler saying what time he would pick me up. "I have to go finish getting ready and tell Wednesday about the mansion." I head for the door, "Thanks for the help."
"It's the Gates Mansion... and I'm never doing you a favor again when it comes to Xavier." I walk in putting the picture on her bed then leave to finish getting ready.
-
When it was time to meet Tyler outside the gates, Enid tells me good luck and enjoy dinner. As I walk closer I see Tyler waiting outside the car leaning against it on his phone. "Why are you waiting outside the vehicle?" I ask walking up to him.
He looks up from his phone to look at me and smiles, "Thought it was more polite to wait this way. You look better than me." He chuckles.
"I always do." I joke with him.
"You know what, I change my mind. I don't want to take you to dinner anymore." He reached for his handle and I decided to play evil.
"Okay, I'll just see if Xavier wants to go out." I turn around making him grab my wrist pulling me into his chest accidentally because of how he pulled me.
"That's rude." He looks down at me as I look up to him.
"Let's go, I'm hungry." I walk around to the other side and he rushes to open the door for me. I shake my head at him getting in and as he walks around to the drivers side I mess with my fingers getting nervous.
We drive to a diner in town Tyler gets the door again then pushes me in when we get seated. "You don't have to try so hard." I let him know. "
I just want to make a good impression and want you to enjoy tonight." He takes his seat grabbing the menu to look at.
"A good impression? I've known you for months now, Tyler. And I don't need you to act like an extra gentleman for me to enjoy my night. I'm already enjoying it. You're actually making me like my birthday for once." I give him a smile.
"I'm honored."
Once we get our food we talk about things I don't normally talk about with people not even my family making me realize I 100% have opened up to him. I let him in... I always said I would never let anyone through my walls I've put up to keep the world out. He's seen me for me deep down... at my best and worst moments.
"You okay? You look like you left this world." He awkwardly chuckles.
"I just realized something so yeah I kinda left this world." I tell him truthfully.
"What did you realize? You seem concerned." He scans my face.
"I've let you in and opened up to you. You know things I don't even tell my family. You know parts of me I hide... I let down my walls for you." I laugh at myself.
"Do you regret it?"
"No." I shake my head, "If it was going to be anyone, I'm glad it's you. I trust you." I tell him and his smile slightly faded looking sad before going back.
"I'm happy you chose me accidentally." He grabs my hand that was resting on the table, "I've let my walls down around you as well. I feel comfortable around you. Like you won't judge me." He squeezes my hand.
"I would never judge you...unless you do something really stupid." We laugh.
As we head out we were laughing because on the way out Tyler ran into the door trying to beat me to it to open the door for me. "How about we swing by the Weathervane before you take me back? I don't want this night to end yet." I put my hand out for him to take.
He takes my hand into his and we walk down the sidewalk enjoying the silence. "You know that door hurt my nose." He makes me stop walking to look at him.
"Well it looks the same. No blood so you're all good." I study his nose.
"Why do you make me act this way?" He smiles staring into my eyes as he brings his hand to my face.
"Because you like me." I try to keep a straight face but can't help smile. I feel him start to lean down and I lean up to meet him but a crash makes us pull away to see the mayor got hit by a car.
3 | Knock It Off
Series: Valentine Addams | Wednesday
Paring: (Xavier Thorpe x OFC Addams! Tyler Galpin x OFC Addams!)
Word Count: 1721
Warnings: Xavier just jealous of Tyler
Last: Therapy | Next: Changing

So far Nevermore hasn't been bad and I was surprised how well I made friends. Well, except for Bianca. We were more like frenemies because we were very competitive against each other. Especially in fencing most of the time we went against each other it came to the tie. Me and Yoko got along pretty quickly being roommates. Enid and I were sometimes alike but in different fonts. Xavier and me were good friends which Bianca didn't like at all. It took awhile for Ajax to stop being nervous around me. Divina and Kent were alright, I wasn't super close to them but I knew Divina more because of Yoko.
Having to join a club I met Eugene and he remained me of Pugsley so I treated him like a brother. There was Rowan, who was basically an outcast of outcast. We had a few conversations but he never stuck around long. Lastly was Tyler. After every therapy session I would go over to the Weathervane to get a Hot Chocolate and talk to Tyler as he worked. Xavier didn't quite like me talk to Tyler telling me what he did to him last year. I understand that it was bad because he put time into his work, but compared to what I do to people... It didn't seem that big of a deal to me.
"Bianca seems a little pissed today. Do you know what happed?" Yoko asks Divina as some of us were going into town today.
"Xavier broke up with her." She looks at Bianca in the front of the bus alone before telling us making Enid gasp next to me.
"Why?" She asks wanting more details for her blog.
"She won't talk about it." Divina tells her and I watch Enid start typing on her phone.
I look in the back to see Xavier looking out the window listening to music alone. When we all get off the bus the girls take off and I wait for Xavier.
Once he sees me he takes out his earbuds, "Why are you looking at me like that?" He asks annoyed.
"Wanna get a drink and a snack from the Weathervane? We can talk about whatever." I suggest to him.
"Sure." We head over there.
"The usual and?" Tyler asks Xavier as we walk up so he tells him before we go sit in a booth.
"I'm assuming you heard the news. I know Enid just posted about it on the way here. Is that why you want to talk to me?" Xavier leans back on his side.
"I wanna know how a friend's doing. And if you want to talk about it you can but if you don't it's okay." I do the same.
"We broke up for two reasons." He looks out the window as Tyler brings us our drinks.
"Thank you." I tell him as he leaves. "What are your reasons since you broke up with her." I sit up.
"The main reason is because I had doubts about Bianca and her intentions as a siren. I'm constantly paranoid that she's using her siren song me and we keep getting into fights over it." He sits up looking at his drink.
"But she has her amulet she wears." I tell him.
"I'm still paranoid about it." He sighs.
"Is there another reason?" I ask.
"The second reason is she doesn't like our friendship." He rolls his eyes.
"Like you with me about..." I motion towards Tyler.
"It's different." He eyes Tyler working.
"Stop it." I kick his leg underneath the table, "But why does she have a problem with me with you? I don't treat you any differently than others and you don't treat me differently either." I raise an eyebrow.
"She doesn't think that." He messes with his hands.
"Well she's stupid because I don't like you like that. I don't like anyone for a fact. You have to prove you're worth my time. And it takes a lot to melt my semi ice cold heart." I explain to him not seeing the slight disappoint on his face.
"You don't mind if I draw while we sit here, right?" Xavier pulls stuff out of his bag.
"Do you have an extra book I can draw in while we sit here?" I ask him.
"Here. I haven't used this one. You can keep it." He passes me one and a pencil.
"Thanks, I'm going to use you as my muse." I open up the book.
"Okay." He laughs before we sit in silence sketching each other.
After awhile I take a break to go use the restroom then go to the counter to ask for another drink. "Hey Ty, can I have another and two croissants?" I come around the corner leaning on the counter.
"I had a feeling you would come ask at some point. Sure, I'll bring it after this customer." He gives me a smile that makes me feel happy on inside but never show it, "Thanks." I go join Xavier who was glaring at me. "Knock it off, Thorpe." I huff taking my seat.
"I told you he's bad news." He huffs as well making me turn to look at Tyler for a second to see him making my cup with a slight smile before tuning back around.
"Yes, because the boy with the light-brown curly hair, greenish eyes, and a kindly smile is bad news. Xavier, I know what he did to you but I'm worse. I can handle myself." I roll my eyes.
"For someone who, in fact doesn't like anyone, sure described him like you do." He rolls his eyes drawing.
"You have golden brown shoulder length hair, eyes are a light olive color with brown surrounding the pupil, when you smile you get dimples." I say making him look at me, "I'm just good at describing someone."
"Your hot chocolate with two croissants like you asked. Do you want another drink or anything else?" Tyler sets my stuff down then asks Xavier.
"I'm good." He tells him coldly. Tyler just nods his head leaving the booth. "I don't see how you're friends with him." Xavier goes for one of my croissants so I smack his hand away,
"Because he's nice to me and that's all that matters when it comes to me. And he asked if you wanted anything so don't touch my shit." I explain to him going back to my drawing.
Bianca ends up coming in with Divina and a few of her other siren friends catching sight of Xavier and I. "She looks pissed." I laugh so I give her a smile and a little wave.
"Now you knock it off, Addams." Xavier reaches across the table putting my hand down.
"Why? Let me have some fun." I say eyeing her as she glares at me.
"Why would you want to piss her off more when you're kinda one of the reasons I broke up with her?" He leans on the table refusing to look her way.
"Because I love chaos." I lean on the table as well starring him in the eyes.
"You're terrible." He shakes his head at me.
"Thank you." I give him a smile.
"I'm finished by the way." Xavier shows me his drawing.
"You finally got my nose right." I say before showing him mine.
"Oh my god. It's like a fucking picture. You still haven't show me your work so I'm amazed. You said I'm quite the artist but you are a artist " He takes it from me looking at it more.
"I'm best at people." I take it back as he hands it back over to me. "I'm gonna go pay for our drinks. Then meet you at the bus." We get up and go different directions.
"How much do I owe you? I'm paying for Xavier's too." I walk up to Tyler.
"It's on the house." He walks over to me. "Ty, no. How much, really? I normally wouldn't care if someone told me that but you're a friend and this is your job." I tell him getting serious.
"No, really it's on the house." He smiles making me get all warm again.
"Fine, here's your tip." I put a twenty in the tip jar.
"Valentine." He pulls it out trying to give it back to me.
"Nope, you worked for it. See you tomorrow since I have my session with Kinbott. I gotta bus to catch." I rush out getting on the shuttle.
"How much do I owe you?" Xavier asks as I take a seat next to him.
"Nothing. He said it was on the house for the both of us." I keep it short and Xavier rolls his eyes.
Back at the school walking towards my dorm Bianca show up, "I can't believe he left me for you." She eyes me.
"He didn't but if he did I would say he upgraded. But Xavier is just a friend to me. I don't date. Plus it's quite difficult to melt my semi ice cold heart." I tell her with a straight face.
"An upgrade?" She laughs crossing her arms.
"Yes. Now I think this conversation is over." I walk past her going to my dorm. As soon as I enter the room the crystal ball was going off. "Mother, father." I answer it.
"How are you doing my black widow?" My father asks me.
"Good. Just got back from the town with some friends." I tell him.
"I'm still so proud of you making friends at Nevermore." My mother gets a big smile.
"I'm quite impressed with myself actually." I tell them.
"Enid, I told you no." Yoko huffs as she walks into the room with her following her.
"Val, did Xavier tell you why he broke up with Bianca?" She rushes over to me.
"Mother, Father, I'll call you back tomorrow."
"Okay, dear." They end the call.
"Spill the tea." Enid shakes me, "And don't tell me he didn't because if he was to tell anyone it would be you." She glares at me.
"I'm not telling you, Enid. It's not going on your blog. I keep other's secrets to myself." I tell her making her pout. "It's not going to work on me." I look at her with no emotions.
"Fine..." She huffs crossing her arms.

Instead of going to the hummers I end up helping Enid continue decorating the canoe. "We have to get back to the woods." Wednesday comes up to us.
"How? Weems has been watching you like a vulture circling a carcass." I look up at her so she glances at Enid.
"You want me to cover so you two can return to the scene of a crime that didn't happen?" Enid says still working.
"I have beekeeping club this afternoon. I need you as decoy. Weems doesn't care about Valentine because she trusts her." Wednesday tells her.
"Sorry. Two strikes. I'm busy and bees totally creep me out. Why don't you ask Thing? Wait, you can't because he's mad at you." Enid tells her.
"Why is he mad? He's the one who screwed up with Rowan."
"All I know is that we spent an hour giving each other manis, and he really opened up. He feels like you don't respect him as a person." Enid lets her know.
"Technically, he's only a hand." Wednesday looks at her.
"Wednesday, he's our family. And Thing would do anything for us, especially for you." I add.
"Go apologizes and I'll reconsider helping you." Enid tells her so she walks off.
"That will be the first attempt to apologize ever." I laugh continuing to paint.
"Really?" Enid says surprise. "Wednesday has never said sorry to anyone." I shake my head.
Soon Wednesday comes back saying she and Thing were on better terms so Enid helps Wednesday out. I wait outside of the shed while Enid helps Enid and talks to Eugene. "Let's go." She comes out taking the lead so I follow her.
"So what exactly are we looking for?" I quietly ask her as we walk around looking at the ground.
"Anything to prove it happened. Someone had to leave at least one thing." She keeps her eyes down.
"There was no blood at the scene so I doubt they would leave something accidentally." I say walking ahead of her before we hear a dog. We both look in the direction but I'm grabbed by someone placing their hand over my mouth so I grab Wednesday taking her with me.
When the sheriff and the dog pass by Wednesday pulls me away from who grabbed me and it was Tyler. "What the hell? I never get scared and you startled me." I slap his chest.
"Sorry. I didn't want Elvis to pick on up your scents." He explains to me.
"Thanks. How'd you throw them off?" Wednesday asks him.
"Uh..." He shows is coffee grounds. "Deer hunting hack. One of the perks of being a part-time barista." He puts them away.
"I assume your father didn't bring the bloodhound to play fetch." Wednesday says.
"He doesn't tell me shit. You two must think it's weird I'm stalking him." He gives us a look.
"No, we consistently stalk our parents." Wednesday tells him walking off so we follow her.
"What really happened the other night at the festival? Look, I swear I won't say anything to my dad. Valentine already told me she found Rowan using his powers to hold you up against a tree. She yelled his name and he used his other hand to fling her into a tree. Then this creature showed up killing him." Tyler tells her.
"That exactly happened. I thought Rowan was in danger. Turns out I was wrong. Then he proceeded to use his Telekinesis to try and choke me to death. Valentine came running and he used his telekinesis to throw her into a tree. That's when this monster came out of the shadows and gutted him." She tells him the same thing.
"You both saw it and it didn't try to kill you both?" Tyler asks so I nod my head.
"It actually saved me from Rowan, probably Valentine too. That's the part I'm trying to figure out. We came out here to find something that can prove he was murdered and that we haven't lost our minds. Yet." She says before finding Rowan's glasses picking them up getting a vision.
"What did you see?" I bend down to her.
"The gargoyle... that was Rowan. He even used his powers in Xavier in a argument. I need to find that purple book." She tells me, "Remember he said I was destined to ruin the school but also said it was possible for you too. If I don't then you do... So you're apart of this too. We need that book." She adds.
"Well, I don't know what purple book you're talking about. I don't see what you see." I stand up then start remember something when I got a vision from him. "But I know where the book is... Sorta."
"Sorta?" She stands up.
"I bumped into him and had a vision of him looking for a book in a library I've never seen." I explain to her and she walks off.
"Bye, I guess." Tyler waves making me giggle some.
"Thanks for helping us not get caught. I can't believe you scared me." I shake my head.
"Sorry, again." He apologizes.
"I'm guessing you two had a shitty moments that made you stalk him?" I say staying with Tyler.
"Yeah. Upset I don't tell him what I talk to Dr. Kinbott about. I told him we talk about mom because he won't." He looks down at the ground.
"If you ever want to rant to me... I'm here for you." I smile backing away from him, "See you, Ty." I wave going back towards the school.
-
I thought after sometime I was off the clock while laying in bed listening to music but I was wrong when Thing pops up telling me I was needed and needed to follow him. I groan getting up following and Wednesday tells me we were sneaking into Xavier's room to look for the book to see if Rowan left it behind. We wait outside the window till Xavier goes into the bathroom after his run.
"Start investigating." She tells Thing and I.
"So bossy." I look through things.
"Why draw me?" I hear Wednesday say under her breath then flip more pages, "You, you, you, you, you. He's obsessed with you." She looks over at me.
"That's a bit odd for me." I continue to look around.
I hear her find something under Rowan's bed and pulls out a mask, "Lets go." She tells me as there was a knock at the door.
We both quickly hide under each bed. I think I was lucky I wear black because if I was in Enid's clothes, you would 100% see me under Rowan's stripped bed. "You're not supposed to be up here." Xavier pulls Bianca into his room.
"Good to see you too."
"How'd you get past the Housemaster? Use your siren powers?" He says not really wanting to see her.
"Not while wearing this. Would it kill you to not think the worst of me for once? I came to see how you're doing. I'm sorry about Rowan. I know you guys used to be close." She tells him.
"Since when did you give a damn about Rowan?"
"You were the one afraid he'd do something to Wednesday. Isn't that what you've been following her like an eager-eyed puppy? Or is there something more? More like not wanting anything to happen to her because it would affect her sister? What do you see in Valentine? You have a thing for goth girls who are psychos deep down?" She follows him over to his desk.
"Maybe it's because she hasn't tried to manipulate me." He tells her and see Wednesday look over at me.
"I make one mistake, and you can't forgive me. You two fight and she will go days without talking to you and you can't get enough." Bianca tells him annoyed.
"What are you still fixated on Valentine?" He asks. "
Because she thinks she's better than everyone else and her sister is the same. I can't wait to crush Ophelia Hall tomorrow and watch their werewolf roommate and friend crumble. It's gonna be a Poe Cup finale to remember."
"I hate to think what you've got planned." Xavier tells her.
"My game's already started. I like to win. Is that wrong?" She tells him making me wonder what has she done.
"And you wonder why I broke up with you." Xavier tells her.
"You used to love my killer instinct. We were good together, Xavier." I watch her take his hand.
"Were we? Is that just how you wanted me to feel?" He makes her back away.
"Trust me, Valentine Addams is not the girl of your dreams. She's the stuff of your nightmares." Bianca leaves and Xavier goes back to the bathroom so we rush to leave.
"How do you feel?" She asks me as we head to her room.
"Shut up." I tell her as we go through her window.
"Where have you two been? I'm literally having a heart attack right now. Yoko and Eve are in the infirmary because of a Garlic bread incident at dinner. They both had a major allergic reaction and are both out is the Poe Cup. I don't have a co-pilot or another teammate." Enid paces around.
"It wasn't an accident. Bianca's behind it. And remember I said I would fill in if something was to happen." I try to calm her down.
"The three of us are going to take her down tomorrow." Wednesday lets Enid know.
"Wait. You're joining the Black Cats too? You're willing to do that? For me?" She looks at her.
"I want to humiliate Bianca so badly that the bitter taste of defy burns in her throat." Wednesday tells her.
"Yeah, but mostly you're doing it because we're friends, right?" Enid asks so Wednesday turns away from her asking how Bianca keeps winning so Enid explains to her.
Before heading out to get some sleep I grab Enid's arm, "As much as I would love to beat Bianca at her own game and see her pissed off... Unlike my sister, I am doing this because you're a good friend and I said I would." I whisper to her making her hug me. I stand there for a second before hugging her back.
"Thank you, Val. You're the best." She lets go of me excited.

I was to meet my parents and Wednesday then take them to Weems. As I see our car pull up I start to get excited to see my family again because it's been so long. "My midnight." My dad rushes over to give me a hug and I hug him back. "Look at you. You're not as dull in the face." He cups my face making me laugh,
"Nope." I give him a smile.
"Valentine, my dear." My mother gives me a hug now.
"Mother." I hug her back. "Has things been still going well for you?" She asks placing her hands in my shoulders.
"Nevermore is still perfect." I let her know. "Pugsley is going to wait in the car while we go to Weems. So you can see him after words." She lets me know.
"Sister." Wednesday says in her cold tone.
"I've missed your cold soul." I give her a smile before leading them to the office.
"Hello, again Morticia." Weems says as we all come in.
"Valentine, you're welcome to stay in here with your family." Weems lets me know so I stand next to my mother as she sits. "Wednesday is certainly a unique name. I'm guessing it was the day of the week you were born?" Weems asks her.
"I was born Friday the 13th. Valentine and I are twins." Wednesday tells her.
"Her name comes from a line from my favorite nursery rhyme, Wednesday's child is full of woe." Our mother explains her name.
"You always had a unique perspective in the world, Morticia. Did your mother tell you we were roommates back in the day?" Weems tells her and I didn't even know that. That really helps with her not like our mother.
"And you graduated with your sanity intact? Impressive."
"You've certainly had a very interesting educational journey. Eight schools in five years. Catching up to your sister I see." Weems looks at her paper.
"Yes. They haven't built one strong enough to hold me. I bet this place won't be any different." Wednesday tells her.
"What our daughter is trying to say is that she greatly appreciates the opportunity. I'm sure she will learn to love Nevermore like her sister." Our father tells Weems.
She goes to say they don't usually accept students mid-term but Wednesday is an exception. "Larissa, and Wednesday's therapy sessions, court orders as well... Will she's see the same person as Valentine?" Mother asks.
"Yes. Two days a week as well." Weems lets her know.
"Did you hear that, my little storm cloud? You're in excellent hands." Father tells her.
"We'll see is she survives the first session."
Weems glances at me before signing, "I've assigned you to your mother's old dorm. Ophelia Hall, just like your sister." Weems tells Wednesday.
"Refresh my memory. Ophelia's the one who kills herself after being driven mad by her family, correct?" Wednesday looks at our mother who nods her head with a smile.
"Should we go meet your new roommate?" Weems smiles and we all follow her.
When we get to the room the three were disgusted by the colors Enid had up. "It's so... vivid." Father eyes the room.
"Howdy, roomie." Enid comes over excited.
"Wednesday, this is Enid Sinclair." Weems introduces her.
"You feeling okay? You look a little pale." Enid says worried.
"She always looks half dead. More than me." I laugh.
"Right, you're sister. Welcome to Ophelia Hall." She tries to hug Wednesday but she backs up, Not a hugger. Got it." She nods her head.
"Please excuse Wednesday. She's allergic to color." Our mother tells her.
"Oh, wow. What happens to you?" Enid asks.
"I break out into hives and then the flesh peels off my bones." Wednesday says making her make a face.
"Luckily. We've special ordered your uniform like your sister." Weems smiles at Wednesday.
"Enid, please take Wednesday to the registrar's office to pick it up along with her schedule. And give her a tour along the way." Weems says so Wednesday turns to leave and Enid skips behind her pulling me to go with them.
"Nevermore was founded in 1791 to educate people like us. Outcast, freaks, monsters, fill in your favorite marginalized group here." Enid says as we walk through the school.
"You can save sanitized sales pitch. I don't plan on staying here for long like my weak sister." Wednesday tells her glancing at me.
"Oh, I'm weak for staying here? I'm not sorry I actually found a place where I feel comfortable for once outside of home." I roll my eyes at her.
"Our parents have been looking for and excuse to send us here. It's all a part of their nefarious, yet completely obvious plan to turn us into a version of themselves. I won't give in like the weaker twin." Wednesday eyes me.
"In that case, perhaps you can clear something up. Rumor's been swirling around that you killed a kid at your old school, and your parents pulled strings to get you off." Enid says as we walk again.
"Actually, it was two kids, but who's counting." Wednesday walks ahead.
"You sisters scare me at times." Enid looks at me because we follow. "Welcome to the quad." Enid smiles.
"It's a pentagon."
Enid just looks at her, "The whole snarky Goth girl thing might have worked at normie school, but here things are different. Let me give you a wiki on Nevermore's social scene." Enid walks and gives her the run down.
"I'm guessing Scales are sirens?" Wednesday looks over at the three.
"You catch on quick. And that girl, Bianca Barclay, is the closest thing Nevermore has to royalty. Although her crown's been slipping lately. Thanks to your sister. She used to date our resident torturer artist, Xavier Thorpe. But they broke up at the beginning of the semester. Reason unknown." Enid says then looks at me.
"I'm still not telling why they broke up." I say making her huff before talking about her vlog is the source for gossip.
"Yo, Enid! You're or not gonna believe the dirt I heard about your new roommate. She eats human flesh. Totally chowed down that kid she murdered. You better watch your back. And you got competition, Valentine to be the most creepiest." Ajax show up so Enid steps out of the way to show Wednesday.
"Quite the contrary. I actually fillet the bodies of my victims, then feed them to my menagerie of pets." She says making him frozen.
"Ajax, this is my new roommate, Wednesday. Valentine's sister." Enid smiles.
"Wow. So you're whole family is black and white like a living Instagram filter." He stares at us.
"I'll give you a second to walk away." I stare him down so he turns to leave. "I'm going to go see our dear bother." I rush off.
"Valentine!" Pugsley rushes over wrapping his arms around me.
"How have you been?" I hug him back.
"Not the best. Still picked on. That's why Wednesday is here now. She put piranhas in the swimming pool." He lets me know what she did.
"Not a bad idea." I nod my head with her decision.
"Val, dear." Mother motions for me so I go over to her. "Please, keep an eye on your sister. She will try to run away from this school. I'm hoping Nevermore can help her like it did with you. I can tell you've changed finding yourself even more." She take my hand into hers.
"I promise to watch out for her. She's already called me weak for staying here but I really love it here." I say making her smile.
"I love hearing that." She smiles more.
"I love you, mother." We do air kisses before I tell father and Pugsley goodbye.
-
As I go in I pass Wednesday going out to our family. I go back out to the quad going over to Xavier, "Not bad." I joke with him.
"Now you want to talk to me after walking away from our conversation yesterday?" He continues to work.
"I'm going to keep being just yours and Tyler's friend until l know things and my own feelings." I explain making him stop to look at me, "I'm not good at understanding myself when it comes to feelings. Others it's easier because it's like reading a book but I'm unreadable." I lean against the wall next to where he was working, "I'm not used to them. Especially those kinds so I would appreciate it we keep being friends." I mess with my fingers as I look at him through my eyelashes.
He mimics my stance doing the same next to me, "Whatever makes you comfortable, V." He gives me a smile.
"Thanks." I give him one back.
"I heard your sister is starting today." He goes back to working.
"She's here already. Saying goodbye to our parents right now. Not very happy to be here. I promised to keep an eye on her so she doesn't run away." I watch him work.
"Good luck with that." He chuckles.
"I might not even try." I laugh standing up straight.
"Wanna contribute to this? Might finish it faster." He motions to the tools.
"Are you serious?" I ask surprised.
"Get your ass over here and help me." He chuckles so I join him.
After some time later in the day, I go to check on Wednesday to see how she's settling in. "Enid, gonna be upset." I see her removing the color from her side of the room in the window.
"It's my half so I don't care." She continues to scrap.
"Why are you so against giving Nevermore a try?" I sit on her bed.
"Because I refuse to be someone they want me to become. You fell into the trap, sis. Look at you. You look slightly more alive instead of half dead like you used to. Growing up you've always wanted to give this a place a look from stories while I never cared." She gets up turning to face me.
"I've change, I know that. I've come to realize that over time because of feelings." I admit that.
"See, feelings. You barley used to have any unless it came to family. I refuse to become like you and mother. We have our similarities being twins, but you've always been like mother in some way. It's developing more being here." She crosses her arms at me.
"I don't care if you try running away. I promised to keep an eye on you but I know my own sister, my twin to be exact. I know you don't want to be here. I know you don't want to be like our mother. And I'm not going to force you to change or stay here. I'll do what I can to help you try to get away. I'll do anything for family remember. Especially you, Wednesday." I tell her meaning it all.
"At least you haven't turned into an entirely new person." She smiles some before Enid comes in asking what did she do.
"That's my cue to go. Night Sis, night Enid." I leave their room.

We end up taking Tyler to Xavier's art shed and as he's passed out we chain him up to a chair. Part of my psychotic side was gone because normally I would love this but I didn't with Tyler.
As he wakes up he sees me leaning on the desk next to Ajax, "Valentine." He looks at me like I betrayed him but he betrayed me first.
"Ignore her but welcome back." Wednesday stands in front of him.
"Where the hell am I?"
"Somewhere no one can hear your screams." She tells him and I look down at the floor.
"What's with the chains? Wednesday, this is crazy. I'm a normie."
"That's only half true." She grabs the fencing photo, "Do you recognize her? Perhaps if I hadn't been so distracted by my own mother hogging this photo, I would have noticed yours sooner." She says making him look over at me.
"You shared my mom went here?"
"She didn't tell me anything. I didn't know she even knew. She kept that secret to herself. I did all my research yesterday. Your father fell in love and married an outcast." Wednesday speaks not letting me get a chance to.
"My mom was an outcast. That doesn't make me a monster."
"According to her personal medical records, her postpartum depression triggered her condition." She reads the file Thing stole.
"My mom had severe bipolar disorder:"
"We both know that's a lie. She was a Hyde. And your father has been living his life in dread, never quite sure whether or not she passed her condition on to you." She raises her voice.
"Are you all gonna stand that and let her do this to me? Valentine?" I could hear the pain in his voice.
"Uh, guys? Enid just texted. Thornhill's suspicious. How long until he morphs into that… thing?" Ajax asks putting his phone away.
"I'm not the Monster."
"You are. Valentine saw it in a vision at the Weathervane." Wednesday tells him.
"Wait, you're basing all this off some vision Valentine had after we kissed? I mean, is that something you can trust?" Tyler looks at her and then at me.
"I saw the Hyde kill Kinbott and it went back to its human self… you. You know how our visions work so please don't act dumb now." I finally speak up.
"Wednesday, what are you doing?" Bianca asks as Wednesday takes out tools to torture him.
"Just some light torture. Don't worry, I won't leave a mark."
"Wednesday, hold on." I tell her not agreeing to that.
"Wait, are you being serious?" Ajax asks her.
"There's only one thing that a Hyde understands. Pain." She says before walking up to Tyler tasing him making us all shout her name.
"That's it. I'm out!" Yoko heads out and the others follow.
"Wednesday, I didn't sign up for this. Let's go to Weems, and explain everything." Bianca walks up to her.
"Weems won't help. And Tyler is always one step ahead of his father." Wednesday pulls out another taser.
"Then you're on your own. Val, let's go." Bianca turns to leave grabbing my hand taking me with her as I look at Tyler.
"No, don't leave me here with her, please l! I'm begging you, please!" He calls for us to help him.
"Bianca, I can't. Just go to Weems with the others. I would normally love to watch something like that happen to someone… but I can't because my psychotic side has gone down some." I make her let go of me as Tyler screams. "Go to Weems." I turn to go back inside.
"Leave us alone, Val." Wednesday stands in front of Tyler.
"No!"
"No?" She turns to face me surprised.
"Torturing him isn't going to get you any answers. I don't know who his master is but I know 100% it wasn't Kinbott. Why would he kill his master? It makes no sense." I walk over to her side.
"Before Nevermore, you would've enjoyed this." She tases Tyler again and he yells in pain.
"Yeah, I would have but not anymore. I believe in my theory about Tyler and if it's true then he's a victim too. He didn't choose for this to happen!" I shout but she ignores me going to tases him again so I knock one out of her hand.
She looks at me like I lost my mind, "You're still psychotic deep down and it just changed into a different way. You want to protect a murderer." She tases him with the one in her other hand so I kick that one out of her hand.
"You changed too… For someone who loves to attempt murders since she was three suddenly hates a murderer. It's quite odd since you idolize killers."
"Stop interrupting me! What is Kinbott, or should I say, Laurel Gates, using you for? Tyler, the body parts in the basement of the Gates mansion, what was she collecting them for?" She asks him making him ask why was she doing this.
"You can stop acting since we all know the truth in this room about you, please." I turn to Tyler as Wednesday goes to get a hammer as sirens approach, "Wednesday, no."
"Let's test your reflexes." She gets ready to swing the hammer at him.
"I said no!" I step in front of him to protect him from her grabbing her arm stopping her as Sheriff Galpin comes in pointing his gun at her.
"Get away from my son! Drop it." He comes closer so I let go of her arm as she turns to him.
As they put her in handcuffs I get the key to unchain Tyler, "Why?" He watches me as I help him get freed.
"I want to go the nice way about this but stop lying to me since I know the truth about you now. I'm still messed up deep down because I'm helping a murderer. I want the truth and I want to be right about you." I get him free and he stands up.
"Why are you helping me?" He looks down at me as his father watches us and watches the others take Wednesday to a police car.
"Because I still have feelings for you when I shouldn't." I keep eye contact with him so he pulls me into a hug.
"Valentine, I want you to go to the station as well." Sheriff Galpin speaks up so I look over giving him a head nod and we head out to go into town.
-
"What to tell me why your sister wanted to hurt my son? Why she kidnapped him?" Sheriff Galpin walks around the room that was just the two of us.
"Because we know the truth and you know it too deep down but can't bring yourself to fully admit or lock up your own son. You're like me, Sheriff. We don't want anything happening to Tyler but he's not fully innocent. And since we don't want anything to happen, an innocent person is locked up for the murders. You can keep telling yourself Tyler is fine and not like his mother but I know the truth. I saw the truth. My boyfriend is a killer that's a victim and my friend is an innocent accused of being the killer."
"Xavier is our Hyde." He looks at me.
"Tyler is our Hyde and his master is still out there! Your wife was bipolar and I believe Tyler has a split personality. I don't have the power for empath but I know I felt two feelings from the monster when I first saw it. Anger and fear. Tyler doesn't have control of his Hyde. Tyler is basically Dr. Jekyll. And you can believe me or not but I believe in myself that I'm right." I tell him and I could tell he wanted to agree with me.
"You're free to go. I plan on doing the same with your sister even though she wanted to hurt my son. I'm actually surprised you stepped in front of Tyler to stop her." He lets me go to go talk to Weems.
"Valentine." Tyler walks over to me so I just look at him. "I want to see if you can get any from me to help you." He cups my face pulling me into a kiss.
It was exactly a vision, it was like I was looking inside him. There was Tyler's but you could tell they were different from each other by the look in their eyes. One was so innocent, kind, and loving while the other was hateful, angry, and crazy. Not to mention I could see the shadow of the Hyde behind the dark Tyler.
Everything gets smokey before I get a vision of him after killing Kinbott again. This time I see him still normal all bloody with an evil smile taking her necklace. Then I could see the instant switch on his face like he regretted it.
I lean out of the kiss looking Tyler in the eyes, "I'm right…" I cup his face in my hands, "You're kinda my Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Expect you remember perfectly everything you do as Hyde, but the only difference is you're not in control while you have a master."
"I never used you, Valentine. I truly fell in love with you. Not because someone told me to." He smiles slightly cupping my face as well.
Before I could ask him a question, Wednesday comes out so he goes over to talk to her after getting his father to allow it. I suddenly feel this shift of feelings while he walks closer talking to her. He wasn't Tyler he was Tyler the Hyde. As he steps back from her I feel the shift of feelings change again going back to his normal self as he walks back towards me passing me.
I look at Wednesday down the hall not only she was scared of Tyler but I felt her fear before she left. "You're not going to tell me who your master is. Are you?" I turn around to face Tyler.
