Silver Rain

When I used to work in a bar in Graz, Austria, my fondest memory is connected to this song. Once a guy came in who had such amazing charisma that he charmed everyone around him who was there. This song came on and the guy got up to the pole and started dancing. I've never seen a man pole dance, but he did it so amazingly well that he wasn't unmanly at all, and he touched every girl's heart, including mine. He also had the ability that I had at that time: A few movements, a smile, a dance were enough, and it was as if some magical evocation, summoning, spell had taken place, which captivated everyone around me. Today, I no longer believe that I am capable of this, or if I am, it is already very deeply hidden. Since then I've drifted away from that bar, as I do from everywhere else, only to think of night trains, and a station I arrived at at 23:00 at night, only to find out that the next train didn't leave until 06:00 in the morning. I was a river without a bed even then.
