Bruce: pretty unrelatable, except maybe the "afraid of how violent I could be if I let myself go" but our moral codes are very different, he's fun to write though

Kate: my experience of homophobia as a lesbian + feeling betrayed by the people you've tried to protect all your life when they don't accept you

Babs: disorder (disability) exists only when it's convenient for "the plot"

Dick: those masked anger issues that make you feel horrible when people tell you how nice you are despite trying your best to be kind + feeling like the fragile stability of your family depends on you not losing your shit

Jason: being the "problem child", feeling like your trauma is always twisted to be about how it affects others, people acting like you're being whiny when expressing how old trauma still affects you, being unable to let go of both your love and your resentment, still trying to protect the people to hurt you, being frustrated that other's holier-than-though attitude towards ethics, hating yourself for hurting others in your anger, never getting angry about the right things, fear of abandonment, latching on too tight and lashing out/leaving them before they leave you, being terrified of being alone, that fun "love+ jealousy+ hero-worship" relationship to older brother.

Cass: being infantilised because of disorder(disability)

Tim: strong drive to prove myself + struggling with attempts at emancipation while still taking care of family

Steph: intense need for independence + strength being underestimated because of being a woman + spite

Duke: people thinking I'm a rule follower and being surprised when I act "wild" despite me making absolutely 0 effort to hide it + loving mysteries/enigmas

Damian: like OP, people treating autism symptoms as "acting out"
