"y/n!! where are you, love?" yoongi yelled. you could tell he was climbing up the stairs. you really wanted to leave your room and go see him, but it seemed like your body was rejecting the idea. you just stayed in bed while he looked for you. "y/n! baby?" he shouts again, getting closer to the door of your bedroom. "love?" you murmured. suddenly, he burst into the room, wearing a black apron and a chef hat? "there you are, baby! look, i got us baking kits, maybe they'll help you feel better!" he smiled big. he looked very cute. on his arm, he had a pink apron for you. "are you feeling good enough to get up?" he asked, coming closer to the bed. you wanted to. "i think so" you said softly. he smiled even more, putting the kit on the bed and reaching his hand out for you. you took his hand and he helped you put on the apron. this is gonna be so easy.. maybe

"what are you doing??" you yelled, laughing hard. "i'm following the instructions, what are you doing?!" he yelled back, squinting at the instructions as if he couldn't read it. he actually couldn't. "fuck" he said under his breath. you looked at him, confused. "i think i made a mistake" he said, looking at his batter. "well it's not my fault, the stupid ass first instruction literally just says 'make cookie dough' this is so stupid!" he stomped his feet and pouted. you laughed at him. "well my cookie dough is probably award-winning, sooo" you said proudly, giving him a kiss on the cheek. he smiled and continued mixing the dough.

"how long did you put yours in for?" he asked you as he braided your hair. "12 minutes, the instructions mentioned that they only take about 12 mins" you said. he froze. "only 12 minutes?" he asked quietly. you gave him a thumps up. "i put mine in for 20" he said. you looked at him with wide eyes. "20?" you asked, hoping he was joking. he nodded, letting go of your hair. "i'm gonna set a timer for eight minutes.." he ran upstairs to get his phone while you laughed.

"your cookies look good" he said. "mine look.. questionable" he looked at his cookies and furrowed his eyes. "mine are hearts!" you said, smiling. he smiled at your cookies. "well, let's decorate. hopefully the icing can cover up the bad inside of the cookies" he said, laughing a bit.

"well done, baby! they look so good!" he said, kissing your head. "i feel much better" you said, leaning your head on his shoulder. "good, i'm glad."

“Hi Yoongi,” you said, entering the recording room. Yoongi turned his head towards you, and smiled. “Hey, Y/N! Come sit down,” he motioned for you to sit on the floor with him. He had his laptop in his lap with Garageband opened. You walked over and sat in front of him, resting your back on the wall. “Whatcha’ up to?” you asked, picking up your bag, and grabbing your tablet and opened Groovepad. “Working on that song you sent, it’s really good. Just needed some polishing,” he said, doing that little smirk he does when he knows he’s cooking something good. “Why thank you, kind sir. You yourself are good too!” humming at your words, Yoongi smiled. “Oh, prof’ just posted the guidelines for the final project,” Yoongi said, lifting his eyebrows, but then furrowing them. “Ooh, yeah,” you said, opening the notification you received.

“Product, bla bla bla, wait,” he stopped reading. “Solo performance?” he read. Eyebrows now very furrowed in confusion. “What?” you laughed. You laughed until you read it too. “Solo..what?” you asked. Throughout the whole year, the projects have always been in pairs of groups. Never solo. “Why would they announce that it’s a solo performance only now? The due date’s literally next next week, and everyone has been preparing for a duos performance,” he scoffed. When Yoongi said ‘everyone,’ it included you two. You and Yoongi were practicing a duet that he could play on the piano, but now it all just went to waste. “Well this is bullshit,” he fell on his back, accidentally hitting his head on the floor. You silently laughed at him. He rolled his eyes at you, and started making snow angels on the floor. You and Yoongi just sat in the recording room in silence, trying to think of ideas for each of your projects. Unfortunately, for the next hour, nothing had come to mind.

“Anyway, Nienie, I’m starving. I’m going to Lotteria. Want anything?” he asked, shoving his things into a dark blue backpack. “Ooh! Yes, please! Can you get me a corn salad and cheese sticks please?” you pleaded, putting your hands together. Yoongi snickered and picked up his bag. “Basic Nienie,” he said and walked out. Nienie was a nickname he randomly made up when he heard some of your friends teasing you by calling you ‘Y/nie,’ it was cute. You really liked it, but obviously didn’t want Yoongi to know.

While lounging around, you received a message. It was Yoongi.

‘Oh yeah..’ you thought. You slid on some sneakers, picked up a sling bag, and ran out the door.

“How’d you forget?” he asked, digging into his bulgogi burger. “Netflix. I was watching a new show,” you shared, taking a bite out of your cheese stick. “What show?” he asked, taking a napkin and wiping some sauce off his face. “Mickey Mouse,” you proudly said, stuffing your face with corn salad. He giggled, his shoulders moving up and down while he quietly made a somewhat demonic ‘keuhkeuhkeuh’ sound. “You’re cute,” he said in between laughs. You nodded, blinked, and continued eating. “So, have you thought of something for the project?” he asked. ‘He’s talkative today,’ you thought to yourself, you took a bite out of your cheese stick, and it came with a cheese pull. Since you didn’t want to break the cheese pull, you shook your head. “Ah, I see. I’ve got an idea already,” he said, a proud grin spread across his face. You were confused. “What’s your idea?” you questioned, watching him down a soda. “I’m going to rap while playing the piano,” he declared, another proud grin spreading across his dumpling-like face. You just sarcastically smiled at him, and continued chowing down on your food.

“Practice days were hassles. Me and Min Yoongi could barely get a break. And I’m still deciding what I should sing for the project!”

“Hey, Nienie, I’m heading home,” Yoongi said, packing his portable keyboard into his backpack. He picked up his bag and his phone, and waved before leaving the dorm. “Well shit,” you thought to yourself. After all these days of Yoongi practicing, you still hadn’t thought of a performance.

After 30 minutes of pondering, it hit you. Yoongi sends you all the songs he helped write. “Blueberry Eyes,” you murmured. It was the MAX’s song that Yoongi featured on. “This is such a good idea. Good job me,” you pat yourself on the shoulder and began practicing. You even pushed yourself to learn Yoongi’s part for that extra credit!

“I think things are going well. I’m nervous about the performance, but if I mess up, it’s okay too. Me and L/N Y/N have started practicing on our own. I kind of miss their complaining,”

It was the day of the project. You shouldn’t be nervous, it’s only like the whole school watching you sing alone on the stage. “You nervous, Nienie?” Yoongi asked, putting his arm around your shoulder and leaning, making you both tumble to the side. “Obviously. I’ve never performed without you here. Scary,” you said, taking a peek at the audience. “That’s okay, Nienie! Just imagine I’m there on stage! And I’ll be here cheering you on from the side,” he said, fist pumping both his arms and doing a dumb little smile. “I’d rather not. You’re scary enough, I don’t need to imagine a ghost you yelling at me to get the timing right,” you laughed. “Touché,” he nodded, and went to the practice room where they had a piano.

“Now may I call on L/N Y/N to perform ‘Blueberry Eyes,’ by MAX and SOOGA? SHUHGA?” the announcer mispronounced his name, very normal. You took one last look at Yoongi, and he was in disbelief that you chose a song he contributed to. As you got on the stage, you saw your mother and father, applauding. You felt confident. The music began playing, and you started singing.

Applause filled the room after you performed. You bowed and exited the stage. When you got down the stairs, Yoongi hugged you. “You did great! Better than I expected. Good job on my rap! You didn’t mess it up that bad,” he laughed as you rolled your eyes. “Oh, shut up,” you said in return, playfully hitting his arm.

“May I call on Min Yoongi to perform ‘First Love,’ by SUGA, otherwise known as Min Yoongi,” the announcer sounded kind of tired. You gave Yoongi two thumbs-ups and he got on the stage. The piano was brought on stage, and he started playing. Beautiful as always.

The whole audience stood for Yoongi and clapped. He got up from the piano seat, and bowed. When he got down back to the backstage area, you jumped on him. Your arms put him in a chokehold as you were praising him for his performance. “You were so good!!” you yelled, he smiled. “I know,” he replied. That made you let him go and roll your eyes. “Hey, hey, just kidding,” he said, hugging you again. You smiled mischievously as you bent down and got a hold of Yoongi’s legs. Now you were giving him a piggyback ride, and he was screaming.

While you two were goofing around, a professor came around the corner. “Hey, stop that,” she said, in a strict tone. You quickly put Yoongi down and you both politely bowed at her before she left.

“Well, miss L/N, mister Min, I don’t have anything to give but an A+ on your final project. You both were very good!” the professor said. You and Yoongi looked at each other, and high-fived.

“Nice one, Nienie!” he said.

“Why, thank you! You as well, Sirre Yoonie, did an excellent job,” you said, formally.

“We work,” Yoongi said again.

“We work, Maestro,” in reply.
