me a few years ago: why do i feel like i just came into existence when i was 12 or 13? why do i not really remember my childhood very well? why do i have such a horrible memory in general? why do my identity and behaviors vary so drastically?

I want to run around in the dark, cold forest and feel the very faint breeze slightly ruffle my fur. I want to see the morning dew fall from towering trees. I want to listen, and twitch my ears as I pick up the sounds of small creatures lingering nearby. I want to yip, and tap my paws against the ground.

I want to crawl through the bushes on all fours again, and forge for insects and berries.

I want to pounce into a bundle of fresh snow.

I want to be able to be on all fours, and curl up into a ball in my nice, cozy burrow I have taken over, and safely confide in the dark.

I want to be able to chase prey down in the light of dawn after waking up from a nap.

I want to be able to be fox again, and not feel like some creature pretending to be a human in some human suit..

Specific newly discovered system culture is going "oh wait, that isn't normal?" when you realise that dissociating regularly, experiencing prevlant gaps in your memory, having conversations with what you thought was yourself, finding things you don't remember buying at all, not remembering most of your childhood, occasionally finding super foggy memories you know aren't yours in your mind, not recognizing yourself in the mirror, not knowing the date, getting really bad headaches and identity confusion when you're stressed, and feeling + acting exactly like a fictional character is in fact, typically not normal.
