If Stan really met Ford from an alternate reality (who had his own Stan die), what would they end up doing?

Of course, if we imagine that Bill's words are true, then we imagine a scenario in which Bill is not evil. So, this is a scenario in which Ford is really dead (otherwise Bill would have told Stan about it)

So, the original Ford is dead. Stan meets another Ford. It would be a touching scene. And let's say that this other Ford returned with Stan to his dimension.

Would Stan just be able to move on with this other brother? How would their mom react? Sherman? Would they just try to "forget" that their Ford was dead?

(I asked a similar question, but now I read that you had a problem with it. I decided to ask again just in case.👉🏻👈🏻😊)

I think a lot of Stan's idea about getting Ford back is pure wishful thinking (encouraged and exploited by Bill) and if he really did succeed, I'm not sure it'd be the outcome he's hoping for.

Sure, he and au Ford would both have someone to talk to who understands what they're going through, so that would help with the loneliness and grief. But I feel like both of them would very quickly realize that they can't just replace their lost siblings and move on like nothing happened.

Worst case scenario, both start blaming the other for failing to live up to the impossibility high standard of the lost siblings they've both put on pedistals. They refuse to acknowledge their siblings as gone, and refuse to move on. Ford regrets leaving his own universe and Stan regrets bringing him into his universe.

Best case scenario, both acknowledge that it was short sighted and that they will still have to learn to live with the loss as much as they want to pretend that everything is fine. But with eachothers support it will be easier to move forward. They'll see eachother more as separate individuals/a third separate brother rather than a 'replacement goldfish' for the brother they lost. They become good friends and both support eachother through their grief.

The biggest hurdle might be the rest of the family... Stan can't very well just explain to them that it's 'Ford from another universe', but telling them it's 'their Ford' who's somehow still alive would feel too much like definitively forgetting and replacing Ford.
