I Feel Like Deviant Connor Would Struggle With Some Texture Or Sound Issues. I Can't Think Of The Actual
I feel like deviant Connor would struggle with some texture or sound issues. I can't think of the actual word rn but I think he'd get overwhelmed for at least a while after becoming deviant since his model is meant to be so much more sensitive than other androids. Idk Connor kind of reminds me of a combination of my two autistic brothers and I know that autistic people get compared to robots a lot (which is fucking disgusting) but idk I think deviant Connor would have some autistic traits? Symptoms? I'm so sorry I can't think of the right word but in game he's already very confused with social cues and non literal language (I'm so sorry I'm too mentally drained to remember the right words). If this is insulting or seems ableist I'll delete it no worries but he just reminds me a lot of my brothers.
Edit: I've been informed that the correct term is sensory processing issues, thank you for the correction!

Irondad Analysis: The Homecoming hug reach for the door
I’d be happy to Anon! If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s over analysing our favourite father-son duo hah!
Let’s start at the beginning of the car ride:

Tony: What are you doing, a little video diary?
Peter: Yeah.
Tony: It’s all right. I’d probably do the same
Despite only just coming out of the disaster that was the Civil War, Tony is right there to help take Peter back home and assures the teen that it’s alright that he’s recording and having fun like any kid would. Throughout the rest of the movie Tony is always the one insisting that Peter shouldn’t throw away his youth in favour of being a superhero, so this little scene is a great hint of what’s yet to come in terms of Tony’s position on the whole Avenger situation.
Initially he has his sunglasses on which is one of his emotional defences like previously discussed, but when he suggests Peter and he should make an alibi video for May, he willing takes them off:

Tony easily slips into a playful bit of banter with Peter as they try and film their alibi, and when that doesn’t work, Tony begins bantering with Happy instead to keep the mood light-hearted. It’s so refreshing to see Tony actually smile and laugh after all the pain he went through with losing the team and Rhodey getting paralysed only days beforehand. You can tell how much Tony has already let his guard down around Peter from these screenshots alone, and that’s because he knows that Peter is pure hearted and kind and would never betray him while he’s vulnerable like this.

Mac: Don’t worry guys, I’ve got a knife up my sleeve!
Hostage: I think you mean ‘trick’.
Mac, pulling out his SAK: No I did not.
Jack: On a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?
Mac: Pi.
Mac: Low-scale but never-ending.
Jack:
Jack: Do we need to have a talk?
