Honey adores her father. She really, really adores him. After all, he's very supportive of her music hobby and constantly supports her in her studies, giving her warm hugs whenever she needs them. And she needs them a lot, especially during this clingy childhood phase of hers.

Maybe it's because she and Lily go to different schools, but Honey has been acting a bit more affectionate and more protective of her family and a lot meaner around people she considers "outsiders" which, strangely, includes her uncle Damien. Maybe, she just has a more traditional understanding of the word "family"?
