Honey adores her father. She really, really adores him. After all, he's very supportive of her music hobby and constantly supports her in her studies, giving her warm hugs whenever she needs them. And she needs them a lot, especially during this clingy childhood phase of hers.
Maybe it's because she and Lily go to different schools, but Honey has been acting a bit more affectionate and more protective of her family and a lot meaner around people she considers "outsiders" which, strangely, includes her uncle Damien. Maybe, she just has a more traditional understanding of the word "family"?
Fortunately, by the time she comes home from school and from late practices with the school orchestra, Damien has left the lot.

For Lily, the only time she gets to spend with her dad is during twilight, when the sun has snuggled perfectly on the horizon, when the stars gradually start illuminating the sky.
Even though he was constantly busy, running here and there, perpetually talking to someone on the phone or hunched back on his desk, typing up letters and proposals, he always made sure he gave each of his girls his time and attention. He didn't want to miss this important stage of their lives, and he most definitely wouldn't want them to miss his presence during their childhood.
So while Honey gets all the hugs and cuddles a clingy child would need, Lily spends her time with him, stargazing and venting out her frustrations, worries, and fears.
Unfortunately, spending a lot of time outdoors also makes her quite vulnerable to diseases, and later that night, she was diagnosed with tonsillitis.

While Lily misses a day of school in order to rest, Belle and Steph play around with their mother's make-up. Their toddlerhood wouldn't be complete without messing around with it and ending up with ridiculous faces, though it seems Steph was quite upset Dorothea took away the glitter (or that she took away the lipstick before Steph could chew it off).

Lily is having personality issues, or at least that's what her twin says at school.
Sometimes, when she gets a bit too emotional, she bottles it all up until she's too sad to even do anything, but mope around and write in her journal. And sometimes, she vents it out by being a little bit destructive, such as smashing their favorite doll house.
It happens quite often (and luckily Holden is always there to fix it), but right now, their parents are out and little Steph is there to witness the roof cave in, squishing her doll family.
After comforting Steph, she realized that she had to find other ways to cope with her emotional outbursts. But what?
Lily wasn't the only one down in the dumps.
Both were creative in their own ways, but at least Lily was considered an art prodigy in school (though her interests seem to lie in a different form of art).
Honey, on the other hand, continuously failed to win 1st place at any talent show. Her most recent failure was the Willow Creek Elementary School Fall Talent Show. Yes, she had gotten 2nd place, but so what? She wanted the gold, not the silver.
But at least she's getting there. Just one more step. One more talent show until she ages up to a teenager. One more chance to win 1st place.

After Holden and Dorothea's dinner date, it was time to celebrate Holden's adult birthday. He barely spent time with his family due to his work, so he wanted an intimate party - with only his daughters and wife to celebrate the day of his birth.
They took a bunch of pictures that day, unaware that this would be one of the few moments they would spend together as a happy, complete family.

Dorothea is in labor, and Holden is ecstatic! There is no better birthday gift than the birth of his son - well, technically, it was a day after his birthday. But still, they were having a baby today!

All is well in the Montgomery household. Both Holden and Dorothea are comfortably compatible with each other, but perhaps this too-good-to-be-true comfort has made her question if maybe he had been hiding his own infidelity, that maybe his "business trips" are too frequent, too long.
But how could he? When he is so enamoured with her. And how could she doubt him? When her own insecurities should have been his? After all, she is the one who is entertaining and meeting the advances of her sister's husband.

her sister, Delilah Fable-Hayward. The wife of her lover.
There was no mistaking it. Delilah knew. And she wasn't here to confirm it - no, she was sure. Convicted. Adamant. Instead, she was here to fight.
They argued. They fought. They insulted each other, and called each other names, bringing up old grievances, old disputes. Then Delilah dropped a bomb.

Wow Delilah really made me feel bad for her even tho she literally kissed somebody's boyfriend when she and Dorothea were younger. I have a feeling that the truth will be more unraveling for everybody involved
I guess, for Delilah, that seemed like an insignificant issue compared to what Dorothea was doing, which is why she was practically in tears when she stormed in and argued with her.
