Question if I may: what’s your headcanon for Vanessa’s backstory/childhood, if you have one.

I know in the games it’s indicated she had a pretty bad childhood and a terrible dad in her therapy sessions but I like to give her a different backstory.

Personally, I gave her a completely normal childhood with no abuse whatsoever. At some point in her early adulthood, her parents would die in some accident. I attributed the bad childhood mentioned in the tapes to Glitchtrap messing with her mind.

I’m not sure why but I feel like Vanessa is one of those people who feels like people don’t like her when in reality she’s extremely hard to hate 😅.

I like this idea a lot tbh, I'm surprised it hasn't been used in more fanworks involving her

I imagine Vanessa being someone that genuinely believes that she is hated by everyone, that she’s only good for being manipulated to be someone’s puppet and to kill. Never to make someone happy, make someone laugh, comfort someone, etc.

Now she knows that is absolutely not the case.

In universe, I imagine it’s the 3 star fam celebrating the one year anniversary of when they became a family, and she learned that she had a true purpose in life. And that she does have people that loves her.

In the real world, this represents her fans

A year ago today, the Vanessaverse Discord server came online, and now with a growing community of over 100+ members, I can safely say.. she is definitely loved.

As for me, I only joined back in late January, and already this place as changed my life. The people I’ve met, the friends I’ve made, have all made me feel at home in a place I can truly be myself, and be fully accepted without the fear of being turned away.

To my friends I’ve made, to the server as a whole, thank you for giving me a place I can be safe, be free, and be happy. Here’s to one year of loving and admiring our favorite security guard together! 💜🥂🎂

Hello all! Derin here with an update on Fluorine, my robot.

I've made a number of improvements to the robot recently

- A new weapon that weighs 125 grams, over a quarter of the total weight.

- A redesigned weapon frame that is a bit lighter and just looks better.

- A slightly modified chassis which fixes a small fitting issue with the frame not sitting "flush" with the top surface of the chassis.

- A redesigned top plate that gets rid of a structural weakness the old one had, namely the grills

I'm hoping these changes will allow Fluorine to perform even better at future events, and I look forward to testing them in Tallahassee in a few weeks!

Vanessaverse Discord Server Anniversary Celebration!

On June 27th, something really incredible happened. Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney founded Atari, Inc.

Also some doofus created a discord server about some blonde FNAF character.

In all seriousness, it has been almost 1 year since I made the Vanessaverse discord server. A place for people to celebrate all things Vanessa and Vanny. To celebrate the server being around for a year, someone suggested I hold a mini event. So that is what this is.

On June 27th, there will be a 1 day event similar to Vanweek. The theme will be "Anniversary"

The rules are identical to Vanweek, so here is a link so you can reread them if need be.

I honestly never expected the server to be as successful as it is today. I genuinely believed it would die off and become one of my many failures.

Thankfully, that didn't happen, I am forever grateful to the many people who helped get this idea off the ground and help me turn it into what it is today, namely @nadiawitch and @theinsanefoxwriter for giving me the strength to continue it after the first few troublesome months.

I look forward to what the next year brings!
