Yeah Totally! Even Hermione Is Kind Of Shown As A Weak Female Character In Some Ways Because She Cries
yeah totally! even hermione is kind of shown as a weak female character in some ways because she cries easily whereas a girl like ginny is tough and doesnt get upset much which makes her StRoNg??? i hate how that she is cool and popular and badass because she has SiX bIG bRoThErS. can't she just be cool for the sake of being cool :(
Do you know what hurts me quite badly too? That Hermione and Ginny are portrayed as very tolerant feminists, and basically they have like, so problem with Fleur, Lavender or Cho. And to Luna in a first way. It’s so sad, especially in the case of Hermione who knows what it means to be mocked. In my opinion, it greatly damages this characters.

for real!! also the next gen kids are cool 😎
I accept the cursed child as canon, but like. only some parts. Albus Severus lives in his father's shadow, is sorted into slytherin and makes friend with his father's enemy's son, Scorpius Malfoy, who feels like cursed because of who his father is and then bond over family issues is canon, but Voldemort's daughter and time travel shit is not

i haven’t been to subway in 2 years cos the woman went “what bread do you want” and i went “yeah”
omg i totally agree! like having literal wizards having these catholic traditions makes 0 sense. it just seems like ideals and agenda's were trying to be quietly enforced but in a way that doesn't sit right. it suggests that you can only have a found family through religion :(
also, like it is said that in the wizarding world there is a much less racism and homophobia but the sad thing is that it was never shown. barely even hinted at. there are like 4 major characters that are explicity not white/english and only one gay character who is old and lonely.
i love harry potter so so much but it really hurts how canonically problematic the world is :(
