I Havent Watched The Good Omens Series (Im Planning To Though) But This Last Week I Fell Into The GO

I haven’t watched the Good Omens series (I’m planning to though) but this last week I fell into the GO rabbit hole. And while I enjoy the thought that Crowley is just a regular demon, the idea of him actually being Satan could fit with his whole being the Serpent of Eden thing, for several reasons. My personal favorite reason though is that many believe that Satan is really Samael who is called the Accuser, Seducer, and Destroyer. And the meaning of Samael: Venom/Poison of God

Started writing my own fanfic this week. I’m working on the outline, and it’s starting to look like it’s going to be at least 30 chapters long, and that doesn’t even count the amount of fluff scenes beginning to emerge in my head.

I‘ve been working on my own novel for about two years now, and I’m just barely half-way through the third draft. Hopefully fanfic writing doesn’t take as long.

You know what would have been funny in season 5 of Lucifer? instead of Michael being a complete bastard to his identical twin because he’d an evil dick, he’s actually just trying really, really hard to reconnect to his brother, but he doesn’t understand emotions or humans (or his siblings) at all and goes about trying to get Lucifer’s attention in all the wrong ways (all those times that some disaster happened that Lucifer was blamed for? actually Michael).

So, like, in that fight scene at the precinct in season 5 (i think, haven't actually got there yet) Lucifer demands to know why Michael caused all these problems and Michael completely sincerely and with an adorable confused head tilt asks “How else was I supposed to get your attention?”

Cue Amenadiel and Lucifer dragging Michael to Linda for some much needed intervention.

I looked up teleportation and how it could theoretically work due to the story living rent-free in my head.

Found a science-y article about it and started to read.

After managing to make it half-way through the paper, all I can think is “nope, I’ll stick to driving.”

I’d rather not get unmade and then be copied thank-you very much.

Hey while you're loving elephants: Denver Zoo has two teenage boy elephants and one Old Man Elephant named Groucho, and lately they've had the lads housed with him so he can teach them Proper Elephant Manners like how bulls raise teenage boy elephants in the wild. Bull elephants are apparently very into being parents but due to the matriarichal nature of most herds, they really only get to raise calves after they've hit puberty. My point is, one of the boys was being annoying and chasing rabbits so Groucho came up and jabbed him in the ass with a tusk, the lad ran around the enclosure crying then came back and did a lot of "I'm sorry I'll be good now dad" fawning and it was adorable.

OH MAN SEE SEE SEE i wish we knew so much more about how bull elephants interact with herds and families - we've documented bull elephants traveling to matriarchal herds and fake wrestling with male calves, and we've documented bulls protecting orphaned calves, but in god's name i want every in and out about it. everything we know about elephant social interaction is not enough. it's a Thing that introducing old bulls to a population lowers the amount of younger bulls in musth, also known as the state in which bull elephants desire nothing but murder and possibly sex, but - i want to know the precise mechanisms. old bull elephants teaching younger bulls manners renders me VERKLEMPT. i just wanna know every secret elephants have.
