All my faculties are honed in on this man and the beauty he creates.

The concept picture is both more tame yet more beautiful than my (very vivid) imagination can conjure up.

It's all in tue details with Park Jimin.

The 13.

The peek-a-boo waist.

Surrounded by flowers yet holding an electric guitar. He can both slay me and heal me.

Park Jimin, our modern day Medusa.

I'll be hanging on to 'first dancing snowflake of winter' for a long time. Jimin really is that special. I hope he knows the true power of his charm. May it not overwhelm him, but give him strength. He's only human, after all.

Hes so adorable and beautiful and cute and lovely (and sexy, but its not about that today)

The feel good vibes he radiates are throwing my carefully manicured moodiness into disarray

Maybe a blocked drain or a bowl of burned soup will help restore some balance to my life.

At least it was about Park Jimin ... until i noticed Loco practically writhing with glee on his sofa as he watches Jimin outdo every newborn animal or gurgling baby in the cuteness stakes.

Yes, let's consider Loco's reaction.

He is after all, right in the firing line of Jimin's radiance. He is defenceless against this barrage of cuteness-sexy-loveliness.

Loco is trying SO HARD to look at least somewhat impartial but it seems he is just as tickled by jimin as everyone else is.

Like everyone else, the man cannot stop smiling.

Well he can, but only if he bites down on his lips to stop them from cracking into a wide grin.

Probably easier to just not look at him ...

I wonder how many takes they did, and how many times he had to endure this outrageous display of charm.

Maybe Loco also needs a blocked drain or burned soup because his cheeks must be aching.

Seriously though, you know what this tells me?

It tells me

Jimin is just as delightful and gorgeous and sweet as we suppose him to be.

It tells me we see the real Jimin.

This is him.

He really IS the glittering star that brightens our dull lives.

He's the first dancing snowflake of winter.

He's a ray of warm sunshine in spring.

He's the pearly moonbeam lighting up your dark night.

He's a flicker of hope in your heart when everything else seems lost.

He's the pot of gold AND the rainbow.

It's a brave thing he's doing. Let's not forget that, despie the buoyant mood, he's taking a huge risk.

If i had a god I'd pray that they keep Jimin safe from hurt and harm, but i don't. I just have to have faith in the universe, that this beautiful and charming and funny young man will have the happiness he deserves.

Can't help falling in Love.

Many famous rockstars have worn heels. Bangtan too have worn many a high heel. Hoseok slayed his pair during MAMA 2022. Jk more recently wore a nice pair for a shoot.

Yet, whenever Jimin wears a heel, I feel like he's very intentional with it. Especially here, where the dychotomy of the simple dark slimfit suit with those 'fuck me' boots are striking on him. The inseam of the trouser shows off the slope of the shoe in such a way as to become meaningful. Not hidden. Not worn to create hight, but to be flaunted. And Jimin, who leans into his feminine side with practiced ease, his long legs strong and grounded.

There are a few more things to note about this Serenade poster. The colors are giving 'blush and bashful' (if anyone gets this reference, let's be friends) and remind me of old-fashioned weddings, which my mind then connects to 'chapel of love', and yes, Elvis! The King. The photo has a very vintage like flair with a modern twist.

It also seems like Jimin’s jacket has an epaulette, and maybe even a brooch??

I went looking far and wide for a brooch Jimin wore during the PTD concerts because I remember reading somewhere that he wore a vintage brooch, that then got repurposed for JK's SNTY mv outfit. It's the top starburst brooch on JK's right shoulder in the pic below. Did I make that up?? JK, likewise, has an epaulet on his jacket 👀 too early to tell perhaps.

Speaking of Elvis, another thing to note is that Elvis, too famously, enlisted at the peak of his career. He was plagued by fans on or near his base when all he wanted was to serve dutifully.

The last part of the quote reminded me of Jimin and his shorn locks. It seemed like that was one of the last parts of his identity that he loathed, having to let that go before enlisting.

NOW TELL ME Why did I make myself sad after the initial PTERODACTYL SCREECH I let out when I first saw the poster and those heels!?!... damn, lemme go back to that creature. Living life, loving Jimin. Screaming at work like a normal person.

What if we one day find out it's not the idols but the stylists that are in a relationship 😅 bcs seeing the overlap of shared clothes and accessories summed up so beautifully like this, who can conclude that these are coincidences??

Styling is very intentional. Who remembers Miranda Priestley deciding on which belt to choose for a shoot??

The stylists work closely with the artist to create an image that conveys more than what you see at face value. They play a part in the story we're being told. Chapter two is a continuation of chapter one in the sense that Jikook share a special connection. They've often been matched when it comes to style. Wearing versions of the same outfit. It speaks of a bond. That they still run with this bond, that particular narrative thread in Chapter 2 is pretty interesting. Isn't it?

Part of building their respective solo ventures was about defining the 7 as separate artists. Very separate, in fact. Employing different genres, producers, and concepts. That this bond, that little thread kept being pulled, tells me simply enough that Jikook's bond extends beyond the group work.

JK reinforced that with his 'Let’s look at how talented and cute my bf Jimin is' for two hours. While JK did visit JM during rehearsals, and JM included him on his album on a secret song, it was curiously enough JM who was very absent during JK'S promo,... well..officially. Because JM did visit him in NY, but we've yet to see official evidence of this. #whereismytravelbuddycopshow

Why then this subliminal messaging? And it's more than 'they have the same taste in fashion' because that means dismissing the grand variety of fashion items available to them. Don't come with 'they're using items more than once to get their money's worth', no. Why haven't we seen others share specific items then? More than once, and more than one item at a time.

It's because these men are telling us, with nuance and care, that they share a bond. They share a thread that cannot be broken even by outside ventures.

The minute I saw this photo it felt a little familiar.

And then it hit me.

JK's 2D shoot.

Now, I'm no photography expert, but it looks like the same kind of slow exposure technique is used for this photo.

And then we have this:

To the moon?

To tell the whole world that you want that one person you love, even if your love may be considered as wrong or ugly to some?

To enlist together, being the first idols EVER to do so?

I guess pretty far.

Yeah yeah, I know not everything is about Jikook. This is JM's album, JM's photo concept, JM's creation. And yes, not everything is about them as a couple. There is definitley plenty that isn't. But with saying that, we have seen, time and time again, referencing, coding and mirroring of one another. Not everything is about them as a couple, but yet, I do believe that some of it is.

And then we have this next photo.

Now really?

If you are sitting there and denying the second you saw the tie you didn't envision this:

then you are lying. Either out right or to yourself.

The tie, the crop top. Even the pose with the shoulder tilt and the lifting of the chin gaze looking down.

Reminds me of someone else that had some mirroring going on and was called a copycat and so much more and worse.

I can assure you that was one among many photos taken in that shoot, and yet, that was the photo chosen by JM.

Third photo.

Besides the fact that JM is beautiful, no need to even state the obvious, we get a few more details from this photo.

First we get the 13 on his cheek.

In the Face shoots he had the studs/thorns and scar under his eye, and now he's proudly wearing the number 13, a number that means so much to him that he has it permanently tattooed on his arm.

His nail art.

In the teaser clip we had the crescent (probably right hand) and now we get two parallel lines. An equal sign perhaps?

We also have a little bit more sharing going on.

I guess Jikook do love to share their outfits and accessories when it comes to these solo shoots specifically.

Another coincidence? I think we are way past the point of believing that it is.

We have shared belts.

Same pants.

Different parts of the same outfit.

Same singlet.

Same necklace.

We also got this message:

I find a few things curious with this one.

First of all, using the terms "boy" and "beautiful".

JM being an almost 30 yo man choosing the work boy is a little strange here, and knowing that every single thing he does is done with thought, just like the use of the non binary singer emoji for the 30 minute reminder or the tteokbokkibyjk.

And what about the use of the term beautiful, a term usually used as an expression of feminine good looks rather than masculine (not by me, btw, but by many).

Another curious thing I found was the dialogue, and more so, the question asked by JM: "Is that how you see me?!"

Question mark exclamation mark.

Is he asking us if we see him as a boy? Is it about age or gender? If we see him as beautiful? Is this about me overthinking? 🤣🤣

And then we have the clip:

So, JM in the dark, looking away from us.

Then the place lightens up and the camera goes into a close up of JM's face, and he's looking into the camera, or at us.

He's literally looking into my soul.

What to expect?

With JM I think we have gotten used to expecting the unexpected, in the very best way possible.
