You Remember That Post About The Homestuck T-shirt Design Contest Collaborating With Hot Topic? And How

You remember that post about the homestuck t-shirt design contest collaborating with hot topic? And how Hot Topic are the biggest art thieves?  This is recent.  As you can see above, I stumbled upon Hot Topic’s website and they are selling a very popular fan art put on a t-shirt, and did not ask permission from the original artist (rismo).

This shows Hot Topic still continues their art thievery.  Hot Topic are still taking art from artists without their permission.  This is disrespectful and appalling.

Hey #MrRobot, do fuck off and never be on TV again.

good job USA_Network  , now everyone is going to think that computer #techs are paranoid schizos thanks to your bullshit show #MrRobot. and thats not how computers work, nor is that how the banking system works. #MrRobot is 100% inaccurate bullshit.             oh and bonus, #MrRobot reads like a love child of /g/ and /x/, "ohh super creepy computers are run by invisible party's unknown and are taking over the world via our money" do please fuck off. fucking hell, because of  #MrRobot now real life computer techs are going to be thought of as paranoid schizos with hero complexes. not like we don't have enough to deal with, now we have to deal with normal people thinking that I.T. people can hack banks and steal there money.

next time im out fixing someones computer i'm going to have to deal all kinds of bullshit.

Congress, Don't Sell the Internet Out
Net neutrality is under serious threat. Right now, the FCC is considering a proposal to roll back the critical net neutrality protections in the Open Internet Order. We can’t let that happen. It’s time to tell your lawmakers: Don’t let the FCC sell the Internet out.

❗️Things you should know about the Graham-Cassidy Healthcare Bill ❗️

• There is not enough time between now and September 30 to get an accurate CBO score that tells us how many people will loose coverage as well as what the bill will cost, and that is inexcusable.

• It ends individual and employer mandates, which will drive premiums up. It will also end federal subsidies for individual insurance. This is estimated to leave 32 million people uninsured.

• It takes the money going to the states that opted ‘in’ to Medicaid expansion and distributes it among all states, even those whose legislatures irresponsibly voted against expansion. In 2026, funding for Medicaid expansion would end entirely, and the shortfall would be left for the states to cover.

• It institutes a one year freeze on Medicaid reimbursements for Planned Parenthood (even though federal law already prohibits federal tax dollars being used to fund or finance abortion services)

• It allows individual states to define what constitutes an “essential benefit”, which will likely result in a slash of coverage for maternity services, cancer treatments and services, ER visits, prescription drugs, and many more benefits. This could also further prevent women’s clinics from charging Medicaid for things like cancer screenings and birth control.

• It allows insurers to double their surcharge for elderly patients. (The ACA allows insurers to charge older customers up to 3 times as much as younger ones. This bill increases that to up to 5 times as much.)

• It allows insurers to charge higher rates based on health status, and it repeals language in the ACA which prevents changing insurance rates after a patient is diagnosed with a condition. This is not a drill, friends. Call your senators. We have until the 30th.

202-224-3121 -> US Capitol Switchboard. This will connect you directly with the senate office you request.

ResistBot is another great resource. If you text ‘resist’ to 50409, you can fax straight to your senators office by texting what you want to say.

TL:DR; the healthcare bill still sucks. Call your senators. Information on how above ^^

 The Internet Needs You

🚨 The internet needs you 🚨

You’re up again, Tumblr.

Back in 2015 you demanded that the FCC adopt strict net neutrality rules and establish a free and open internet. And you won.

That should’ve been the end of it. But apparently not.

The new head of the FCC wants to undo the net neutrality protections you fought so hard for.

His proposed changes open the door to your web traffic being slowed down, or even blocked altogether. You could be forced to pay extra to use your favorite apps. You could even be prevented from getting news from the sources you trust.

Title II protects consumers and democracy by ensuring all voices can be heard.

You know the drill. Here’s what to do:

The FCC is taking comments from the public, and dearfcc.org is making it as simple as possible for you to make your voice heard.

Go there now 👉 dearfcc.org ✌️

You’ll just need to provide a name, an address, and then say a little bit about why rolling back Title II protections is a bad idea. If you’re not quite sure what to write, here’s something to get you started:

I’m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.

The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. We’ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them.

The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who can’t pay up to have their voices heard.

Please leave the existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.

Thank you!

If you need more ammo, feel free to quote these experts from our net neutrality Issue Time. TechCrunch and Battle for the Net also have some good starters.

Everyone is counting on everyone else here. Do your part and tell the FCC to keep a free and open internet under Title II.
