Another Jack edit from the movie Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs:

Making my hyper fixation everyone else’s problem. I made multiple edits today of Jack from Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs. This is one of them:

The scenes are from the movie mentioned above and the song is Outside by Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding.

So what makes a butcher knife more butch than other knives?

I decided to look at who’s bed I think belongs to who in red shoes and the seven dwarfs and why I think so.

Starting with Merlin and Hans:

I think the bed red shoes is in is Merlin’s. If you look above his bed you can see a poster thing with magic symbols (he’s the only one to do magic). You can also see a bunch of books (he’s also the only one we see look at books, not including Hans who uses cookbooks, so I just assumed.

I think the other bed in the picture is Hans’. You can see some random bowls which follows his cooking thing. I couldn’t decide between Hans or Arthur for who this bed belongs to but when I looked at the next one I decided Hans fit this one.

Onto Arthur’s:

You can see the swords above his bed which really sold it for me because he’s the only one who really uses swords or weapons. His little desk area is super bland so there’s nothing there for me to really say anything meaning.

Now on to Piko, Noki, and Kio:

The three bunk beds are theirs simply because they’re triplets and the media has a weird thing that twins/ triplets can’t have a personality of their own. That and they’re super close and they have limited space.

Now onto my favorite, Jack

He’s really extra and because of that his was the first one I knew. What cemented it for me was his cloak is in a safe above his bed (as seen in the first picture). There’s nothing decorative above his bed as the others have. But he’s nothing like the others decor wise. He has a completely different bed frame, his pillow is a bolster pillow (a pillow meant to help with posture or a decorative pillow), and his bedding is much more detailed. With a purple comforter that has a blue underside and decorative golden designs along the border and a purple sheet, it’s completely unrecognizable to everyone else’s. I would also guess the mirror is his.

He places a much higher emphasis on taking care of his physical appearance, doing much more than everyone else to maintain it. We see him frequently doing face masks and talking about the importance of skin hydration. I think it’s safe to say with this information that his bedding is silk, given the benefits to the skin and hair.

We know the F7 very well, and their schedule is fully booked.

The different things I like about the dwarfs from Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs:

Pino, Noki, and Kio: I really like their fighting style, how they invent things and their outfits. I think it would be really cool to be one of them.(normally I hate pairing twins, triplets, or anyone together instead of looking at them as individuals, but I don’t know enough about them and they have a similar scheme going on)

Arthur: Himbo

Merlin: Well defined character. Nice, charming, funny. Really cool lighting.

Hans: Nice frying pan. I, too, want to hit things with a frying pan. The Rapunzel instinct™️. He’s also very kind.

Jack: *internal screaming* Why is he my type? Why do I hate him and love him at the same time? He’s so polite?! 💖💖🩷💗💖🫠

So I just watched Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs and it’s such a good movie.

And (spoilers) at the end the magic mirror is talking about how you can only take the shoes off if you want something more than what they’re giving you. They only really mention how she takes off the shoes to save Merlin, which is really cute and great, but she also takes off the shoes to feel more herself and more comfortable in her room before someone knocks on the door. And Snow also takes off the shoes to get away from the guards.

There have been times when she couldn’t take the shoes off, but also times when she could. Which I think is really cool.

She wanted to be comfortable more than she wanted to be “pretty”. She wanted to be safe more than she wanted to be “pretty”. And she wanted to save someone she cared for more than she wanted to be “pretty”. I think that’s all great.

(Also I find all the thirst edits I’ve come across for either Merlin without the curse or Snow with the shoes really ironic for what the movie is about.)

Okay, so

One of the few small things that’s confirmation that I’m trans is like:

These shoes. I think they’re super cute and feminine, but I would feel uncomfortable wearing them cause that’s not how I feel comfortable presenting my gender.

I just think it’s nice to occasionally have small confirmations like that.

Also, I am not trying to steal the image at all, but I don’t know where the shoes are from or where to get them.

If anyone wants to add something that they find gender affirming or anything like that, feel free to add.
