Taki cares a lot about the ship's crew members because he's afraid that his childhood tragedy with the wreck of their family ship might happen again. Testing his fate again and again in the depths of the sea, Taki wants to find an escape from his painful past.

Michinaga is also known to be the head of the main family of the Fujiwara clan. I don't know how accurate this information is, but he became the head not too long ago(?).

Has it ever been confirmed if Susanoo is the fire God Kagutsuchi or not? I saw a tweet that it was revealed that he is, but I'm skeptical because I haven't seen it anywhere else.

At that point, I was following the plot closely. And I can say with certainty that there was not a single confirmation. Did the author provide a single piece of evidence? The fire god was known to be crazy. I don't remember if anything else was mentioned about him, but he was the one who killed the people Amaterasu was watching. And also the sun goddess called on him to help her restore peace. It happened at the very moment Amaterasu decided to reject Izanami's teachings and let this world live.

Susanoo was born later than Amaterasu. Since it is mentioned that he destroyed the great hall and thus allegedly insulted the empress goddess. There is also no rebuttal, but as a result of the story presented, it would be too wrong to represent the god of fire and the god of thunder as a single character...
