If Alex ever wants to make anything of himself he needs money. The problem is, there aren't too many opportunities in town for a guy like him. Sure, he has the ice cream stand in the summer, and he's got odd jobs doing manual labor, but it's not going to support his grandparents, that's for sure.

If he can just get enough for a truck, and for trade school, he can go to work for Robin as a proper handyman. She needs a certified electrician, and if he can get the license he has the job. But summer is almost over, and the ice cream stand is closing soon.

Maybe the new farmer–who's much more prosperous than anyone anticipated–could use the help of a farmhand?

My random Stardew Valley headcanon is that everyone vibes with Leah. It's not that everyone loves or likes her, but just that no one has a negative word to say about her. She is there, she is chill with everyone, doesn't bother people, and is very good to those close to her. She just doesn't cause any trouble or is inconvenient to anyone. She is nice when interacting with anyone, doesn't stick her nose in other people's business, and is willing to help. Like I can totally imagine her seeing Evelyn carrying groceries from Pierre's and offering to help if Alex is not there. Or, if she is working on something with Robin, she will bring food for everyone in the house.

She just gives off that vibe of a cool girl who minds her business and is just pleasant to be around. I feel like even people like Haley and Shane wouldn't be bothered by her. If you asked Shane what he thinks of Leah he would be like: "Who? Oh, the cottage girl... She is ok." Haley would think that her shoes were dirty but just wouldn't feel the need to say anything because every interaction with Leah is chill. They just stay out of each other's way and say hi when they pass each other.

i love Maru!!! i love her so much! even when i try to get wit the other bachelorettes i cant do it, i cant help myself, i have to marry her every time. i fall in love with her every run.

i love her glasses and her nose and the particular shade of pink that she dyes her hair. i love her overalls and her big smile and her shocked face is cute too. maru is so smart and i like that she knows it too. i like hearing her dreams, her thoughts, shes so soft and gentle, and yet so self-assured and levelheaded. i love that shes her own person and doesnt need saving. all of her lines during dating and marriage are sweet yet gently forward, i like that too.

i look at maru and i see reflection where ive never had any before, and it is a loving one.

i like her telescope, and the fact that she spends summer nights and early mornings stargazing and daydreaming. i like bringing her gifts and baking her dishes just to see her happy reaction. shes cool and wonderful and honest and she loves so earnestly, shes my space girl, my love <3 shes the best one to ME!
