changed my tongue ring to a shorter bar now that it's finally healed, and it was about as uncomfortable as I thought it was going to be (because I had to do it by myself), but now I'm thinking about Sebastian with a tongue piercing asking the farmer to help him downsize the bar. many thoughts.
Doing opening shift this morning, come to find out we have to get the power turned off for an electrician to fiddle with the boxes in the back—we have several customers in the store and all lights and registers are out. I have already been cussed out by one(1) individual, while they were holding a very rowdy yorkie in a glittery pink tutu. It is only 10:30 in the morning.

Well. I still have like three unfinished requests from when I last opened them, and if you've been here for a while, that was almost like. Seven months ago? Jesus.
Anyway, I've been working on them pretty consistently for the last couple weeks, so I'll probably be able to open requests again sometime next weekend? (Don't quote me on that though.)

I know you say in your request rules that requesting for our own ocs is okay, but how specific do you need us to be? is there specific info you want on an oc before you write for them?
I probably should've made a guide for how to request for your ocs, huh? Oh well, better late than never.

Highest skill level (foraging, mining, farming, fishing, and combat)

Backstory summary (or you can go in detail, because god knows I'm always happy to have more characters to obsess over)

🌱 I don't have a solid grasp of who I am, and the image of myself in my head is always changing, so sometimes I don't recognize my reflection in the mirror as me. It scared the shit out of me the first time it happened.
38. What's the meaning behind your URL?
🌱 hopefuloverfury was a URL auto-generated by tumblr, but I stuck with it because it's perfect for me. I'm a chronic pessimist and have been told all my life that I'm loud, aggressive, and angry, and it's something that I'm misunderstood for quite often. I'm actively trying to work past my pessimism, and I'm not aggressive, just passionate and possess exactly zero volume control. Hopefuloverfury fits with my wish to be optimistic, instead of constantly angry or afraid of where the world is heading.
45. Favorite tea?
🌱 Before I started dealing with my sensitivity to caffeine, black tea was my favorite. I used to take creamer with it, because I preferred it sweet, but now I'm too afraid to drink any tea at all, just in case my brain decides to have a meltdown and give me flashbacks.

🌱 Oh, jesus. Sensitive. Patient? Selfless, for sure, but that's the nicer word for it. Vulgar(LMFAO). Loving. Very very loving. Too much love. So much I don't know what to do with it. Someone take it off my hands it is SO HEAVY AGH
27. Books or films?
🌱 I don't really read published works or watch movies anymore, but some of y'all be cranking out 100k word fics that are heftier than classic literature, and I scarf those down in like a few hours, so I'd say that counts. Yeah, books.

3. Do you like pasta?
🌱 I think my Nona would roll over in her grave if I said I didn't like pasta. I LOVE pasta! Gnocchi is my favorite, but I also adore farfalle. That was her preferred pasta noodle, and she made it every Sunday when I was growing up. I love her to death, and I miss her every day.
9. Cotton candy or funnel cake?
🌱 Funnel cake! When I was younger, during the summers, my uncle and my birth father helped set up and organized the local fair, and the whole family would get everything on the house; my favorite part were the funnel cakes, because our family friend Lorenzo, who also worked the fair, made THE BEST funnel cakes. I still haven't found any better than Uncle Lorenzo's.
26. Do you believe in aliens?
🌱 Short answer, yes. I'm 100% positive that they exist. Long answer: There's an estimated 2 trillion galaxies in our universe, and in physics, the multiverse is possible, though not proven. Regardless of whether or not the multiverse is real, our universe is constantly expanding into who knows what, and there's billions of stars orbited by planetary systems. Out of those systems, we've already found several planets that are in the "Habitable Zone", where planetary temperatures are just right for life to form. It's mathematically and statistically improbable for there not to be at least SOME form of life on those planets, but there's no telling whether the human race could or will make contact with any developed intelligent lifeforms.
44. Do you collect anything?
🌱 Yeah, a couple things, actually! I collect kpop albums, Littlest Pet Shops, One Piece figurines, and also Strawberry Shortcake paraphernalia (but only from the 80s and early 2000s versions). My favorite character from the original is Orange Blossom, and my favorite from the 2000s reboot is Gingersnap! I used to watch the Strawberry Shortcake show and movies on VHS tapes, since we didn't have cable TV growing up, and I loved them so much. I'm pretty sure it's why my favorite colors are pink and green, now.
