Summary : What happens when you and Yoongi are supposed to take care of a baby for a month?

Yoongi happened to arrive around an hour later than was asked and as the free weekend before the kids' arrival passed, he had been nothing but bothersome. He didn't clean up after himself, he always played loud music till late and he was overall just tiring. You really don't know how you will handle taking care of a kid when he's also acting like a child. You also learned that he can't cook and isn't willing to learn either. You just hoped that he would help you take care of this adoptee child. Right now you were once again seated in the lobby with Areum, Taehyung, Seokjin, his surprisingly nice partner Mina, and Yoongi. All of you were waiting to be called in the small room to the side where you will pick up your baby. ( A/N : that's so weird to type out for me. I completely dispise babies. But then again this whole story is old school where kids aren't addicted to phones, and then I suddenly do like babies.)

" Lee Areum and Kim Taehyung." Your best friend and her partner were called.

" Wish me luck." She smiled at you as you nodded and held her hand for a moment.

She soon dissapeared behind the door and came out a moment later with a child in her arms. She gave you a smile before walking to the elevator, Taehyung beaming at the child in her arms while carrying a bag.

Seokjin and Mina were called a few moments later too and now it was just you and Yoongi, who seemed to be asleep.

" I hope we get a boy." Yoongi suddenly said as he opened his eyes and looked at you.

" Why's that?" You asked him.

" Boys are less whiny." He stated.

" That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard." You told him.

" And why's that?" He raised a brow at you.

" You're whining here in hopes to have a boy. And I don't know, but that works against yourself, boy. " You smiled.

" Whatever." He said before closing his eyes again.

" L/N Y/N and Min Yoongi." Your teacher called out, making you and Yoongi stand up.

" Alright kids, sit down. This is Naeun, she's currently four months old. She's not completely healthy and therefore needs to be fed every three hours, even at night. Do not forget that. This is your notepad, you will write everything down you do and at what time you do it. If you're leaving the house with her to get groceries, you write it down, if you're changing diapers, you write it down and so forth. The first week I want a repport of every day on my desk. If the first week goes well, you'll be allowed to take care of her with less supervision, meaning that I will only need your report every sunday. Also your budget will be 400,- a month, don't use it for yourself. Understood?" Your teacher informed you.

You and Yoongi nodded as he accepted the notepad.

" Alright, who wants to carry her upstairs?" She asked as you and Yoongi exchanged looks.

" She'll do it." Yoongi said uninterested.

" You better help in this Yoongi, you need a good grade and it isn't nice for your partner if she'll have to do everything herself. By the way, you'll carry the bag over there. Bag number 5 is yours." Your teacher pointed at a big grocery bag in the corner.

" And you, come with me." Your teacher said as you did what was told.

You were led into a side room where there were all small beds and you cooed at the babies you saw.

" This is her." Your teacher smiled at you as you two stopped in front of a bed which was numbered with a 5.

" Can I pick her up?" You asked her with a big smile.

" Of course, tough I do have to tell you she tends to cry a lot for no apparent reason..." She stopped talking as you had picked the baby up, who didn't seem to mind at all, instead she wriggled around to find a comfortable spot in your arms and sighed once she found it.

You both walked back out and you walked over to Yoongi, smiling and showing him the baby.

" Yoongi, say hi to Naeun." You smiled at him as you showed her to him.

He scrunched his nose up and walked out of the door.

" We'll hand in our first report tonight ma'am. You told your teacher who smiled and nodded at you.

You walked out the door and followed Yoongi into the elevator. As he pushed the button of the right floor, you used the time to study the baby's face. She already had a head full of black hair and long femine lashes. She was currently asleep, but you remembered that her eyes were a deep brown. You smiled at her.

" You look like you're in love with her." Yoongi said suddenly, causing you out of your trance to face him.

" Maybe I am, I mean how can you not? Look at her." You said as you turned your body so Yoongi could have a better look on her.

The lift dinged, signaling that you had arrived at the third floor.

" She's just your everyday baby Y/N. Can't get more ordinary." Yoongi said as he walked out.

You followed after him.

" Guys." You rolled your eyes, if only you were with Seokjin. You were sure that he would've been a better partner than this guy.

Jimin huffed as he sat on the floor in the practise room, blankly staring at his reflection.

" What's wrong?" Hoseok asked after a moment.

" I don't want to go on tour." Jimin huffed.

" You don't want to see the fans and perform?" Hoseok asked.

" No of course not, I love them. I just don't want to leave Y/N by herself for that long." Jimin said.

" You think that she can't look after herself?" Hoseok questioned.

" No, I know she can. It's just that I'm afraid that something will happen while I'm so far away. What if she finds a better housemate?" Jimin asks.

Hoseok giggled.

" Silly. She won't leave you like that. Trust me. Also, we've got the afternoon and tomorrow off to pack our last stuff." Hoseok said with a knowing smile.

Jimin cheered for a moment before leaving to go home.-

Jimin smiled as he made his way into the apartment building, smiling as he got greeted by the over excited pup.

" C'mon Noble, let's go to Y/N. Are you gonna tell me where she is?" Jimin asked as Noble licked him a few more times before running to the livingroom where you were sitting on the couch.

You smiled at him and got up, making your way to him.

" You came home early." You smiled as you hugged him.

" Yes, they let me off early today." Jimin said, bascially repeating what you had said before burrowing his nose in your hair.

He loved how close you two were. He would never admit it, but he loved that you didn't have a boyfriend. This way he could be close to you without being jealous or having to mind personal space.

" You won't believe what has happened." You said as you pulled away from him.

" What is it?" Jimin asked.

" I got a date." You smiled.

Jimin's smile fell.

" What?"

" I know, it's crazy right. I met this guy called Denis and he's asked me out." You gushed, obviously happy.

" That's great." Jimin lied trough gritted teeth.

" I'm gonna go pack for tour." Jimin said as he walked into his room, shutting the door.

As mean as it was from him, he hoped that your date didn't go well.

Jimin gasped awake as he heard his phone ringing.

He sat up confusingly on the couch, Noble laying beside him.

What am I doing here?  He wondered as he stared at the tv.

Oh right, I was watching a movie all by myself because my cuddle buddy is on a date. He remembered sourly before staring at his phone.

Y/N it said with a heart beside.

And suddenly he was wide awake. He almost jumped from the couch in order to pick up, waking up Noble in process.

" Hey, what's up?" He asked, voice laced with sleep.

" Hey, can you, um, pick me up?" You asked, a slight quiver in your voice.

" Yes, of course. Where are you?" He asked.

" So what happened?" He asked, trying to ignore how good you looked in that dress.

" He turned out to be a douche, like I don't mind paying for my own food, and just tell me if you want me to treat you, but don't pull the ' I forgot my wallet' thing even tough I can see your damn wallet in your jacket." You huffed.

Jimin blinked at the road.

" That's just sad." He said as he ended up listening to you complaining about your shitty date, not that he minded tough.

The rest of the car ride went accordingly. Jimin simply listening and you ranting on and on and on.

" Let's have a movie night. In my bedroom this time, that way we can cuddle without falling off the couch." He suggested as you stepped inside the house, being greeted by Noble who came for a pet over head.

He knew what he said was rather intimate, but he hoped you would say yes.

" Sure. Just let me take off my war paint and change into something comfortable and I'm all yours." You smiled as you took your heels off.

" Oh and Y/N?" He  called.

" Yes?" You asked.

" I just want you to know that you look beautiful. I mean, you're always pretty, especially in your shorts and a big sweater, but I just wanted to tell you." He smiled, tough he was not ready for your reaction.

" Thank you." You said as you kissed his cheek.

He had never felt this giddy before.

" Helloo America!" Your friend sang as you two got off the plane.

" How are you still so, alive..?" You grumbled as you followed her, yawning trough your sentence.

" I don't know, I'm just excited I geuss. How are you not excited to see your mystery hotshot housemate?" She asked you.

" First of all, he isn't a mystery. Second of all, I just slept for at least 5 hours what do you expect?" You huffed.

" Yeah, yeah, whatever. Are you excited for tonight?" She asked you.

You bit your lip and nodded. You and your friend were going to the concert of the band he worked for, you didn't really know the band's name or their faces, but luckily Taehyung had helped you with it, making sure that you and your friend would be able to go backstage as well.

" Of course I am."

" Y/N, you're here! Finally Jimin won't stop talking about you! Oh hello, you must be Y/N's friend? I'm Taehyung." Taehyung introduced himself as he lead you and your friend into the backstage area.

" Hello, I'm F/N ( friend/name). Nice to meet you." Your friend introduced herself as she followed you two.

" Oh was he now? You looked quite dashing by the way. I'd almost think that you'd be the artist performing tonight." You told him as he abruptly stopped.

" You know, I'm starting to think that Jimin hasn't told you anything about our line of work." Taehyung said as he turned around to face you.

" He told me you guys worked for a band backstage?" You said, more like questioned now.

" Oh, well, I think I'll let him explain himself." Taehyung said as he started walking again.

You and your friend switched glances before following him into, what seemed to be, the dressing room. You studied the room around you for a second and realized what Taehyung meant. He was the artist, and so were Jimin and the other guys you've met. Jimin indeed had a lot to explain.

" Jiminie! I have a suprise for you!" Taehyung yelled as he stood in front of you.

" What is it? Please don't tell me you've tried making cookies again?" You heard Jimin's voice in reply.

" No, you have to come here and see it!" Taehyung yelled, footsteps following soon after.

" What is it Tae?" Jimin asked.

" Tadaa!" Taehyung said enthousiastically while motioning to your friend.

Jimin was confused.

" Um hello miss?" Jimin asked uncertain.

" Oh wait sorry wrong person- Where is she- Oh! Tadaa!" Taehyung tried again and stepped away from in front of you.

" Y/N!" Jimin yelled as he walked over to greet you with a hug, Taehyung softly nudging your friend away and starting a conversation with her.

" Hi Jimin." You said as you returned his hug.

" What's wrong?" He asks you as he breaks the hug, not letting go of you tough.

" I think you need to explain something." You said as you glanced at the poster on the wall to your right.

" Oh, right. Uh, let's sit down." He said as he held your hand and led you to the couch on the side.

"... And that's when I put the advertisement online. And you're just too perfect you know? I was gonna tell you sooner but I was afraid you'd distance yourself from me or simply didn't want to live with me anymore. Are you mad at me?" Jimin explained as you kept listening quietly.

" I see, and I'm not mad. I understand why now you've explained it thoroughly." You smiled at him, running your thumb over his hand which was in yours in a comforting manner.

" Thank you. Oh and Y/N, I know that this isn't the most perfect moment but I wondered if you wanted to try having a relationship with me once tour is over? It's alright if you don't want to-"

He got cut off as you placed your lips on his, effectively shutting him up. He was suprised at first but eventually melted into it, chasing after you even as you broke the kiss.

" You're supposed to go on stage soon Chim, I'll be here even when you're done." You smiled at him.

" Okay, I'll go. You'll now get a first grade seat of your soon to be boyfriend." He winked at you.

You smiled at him in return.

The rest of the night was filled with you and your friend dancing to their songs and you catching Jimin glancing back at you every so often. You indeed had a very nice soon to be boyfriend.

Jimin huffed as he finally made it inside the apartment. He was tired and couldn't wait to knock himself out. He wanted to see you too and hug you again, but he already told you to sleep when he had called you from the airport in America before his flight took off.

He stretched before deciding to check up on you anyway, just to see you again. He walked over to your room and opened your door quietly, his brows raising as he didn't see you in your bed.

Maybe she fell asleep in the livingroom? He wondered as he walked into the livingroom, frowning when he doesn't spot you on the couch either.

She probably forgot about me and decided to sleep over by a friend. He tough sadly as he shut the door and made his way over to his room, dragging his suitcase behind him.

He opened the door and turned on the lamp, yawning as he made his way over to his walk in closet and abandoning his suitcase there.

When he heard a whine.

" Turn the light off damn it." He heard your voice mutter.

He hurried out of the closet and finally spotted you, lying in his bed. A smile overtook his features. Did you miss him that much? He wondered as he saw you cuddling furtherly into Noble, who woke up and wrung herself out of your embrace, jumping off the bed into the dog bed beside his bed before sniffing the air and standing wide awake, spotting Jimin.

" Noo, Noble come back." You whined after the dog who now ran to Jimin and greeted him.

" Hey sweetheart." Jimin kissed her head and pet her before walking over to the side of the bed you were laying, sitting down on the edge.

" Hey beautiful." Jimin greeted you, passing a hand softly trough your locks to help you wake up.

" Huh, wha- JIMIN!" You screamed as you recognised his voice and jumped up, wrapping your arms around him.

He giggled as you lachted yourself onto him, his arms coming up to hold you too, unintentionally straddling him.

" I missed you." You mumbled in his neck before kissing his cheek without thinking.

" I missed you too beautiful." He mumbled back, holding you close and breathing your scent in. He smiled at you as you both pulled back.

" So, how'd you end up in my room?" Jimin teased, biting his lip.

You blushed.

" Oh, right, sorry, I'll just move myself back-"

" What, no, that's not what I meant. It's a pleasent suprise. Beside- Wait, is that my shirt?" Jimin smiled as he checked you out.

You smiled sheepishly.

" Sorry,-"

" Don't apologize! I like it. It's cute. You know what, let's turn your bedroom into a geust bedroom and then you can just stay in my- no wait, our bedroom and-"

" Hey, hey, calm down cowboy, let's just take babysteps first." You chuckled.

" Alright, I will. But I'm back from tour now, and that means we're dating now right?" Jimin bit his lip as his eyes shined with hope.

" Yes Jiminnie, we are indeed dating now." You smiled as you kissed his nose.

" Good, that means I finally have an excuse to do this." He said before pulling you even closer than you already are and connecting his lips with yours in a passionate kiss.
