" When is dadda coming home?" Jaehyuk asked as he stopped colouring for a moment.

The both of you were seated at the dining table. You were making your homework while Jaehyuk was colouring in a random colouring book. You and Yoongi had promised him that you'd go to the petting zoo and because of that he's been very excited, not stopping with asking when Yoongi would come back from school. You and Yoongi's extra long holiday was sadly over already, and you were back to school. You had for this week morning classes while Yoongi had afternoon classes. Today he would be done around 14:00, meaning that you woukd still have a few hours to spent at the farm.

You sighed and tried to keep your patience.

" Soon, baby,soon. How is your drawing coming allong?" You asked him, changing the subject.

" I think it looks really good! Look, this is you, and this is dadda! And I also drew a frog!" Jaehyuk smiled and showed you the picture with excitement.

The drawing was barely recognisable, apart from the frog. It had three stick figures, one with a smile and a triangle dress on, one who was asleep, a smaller one who was holding hands with both, and a random frog. What did this boy have with frogs?

You smiled and complemented him on his talent nonetheless.

" Hello? I'm home!" A voice sounded from the doorway.

" Dadda!" Jaehyuk smiled and all but sprinted to Yoongi before jumping on him in a bear hug.

" Hey buddy, have you been nice while I'm away?" Yoongi teased the small boy, who nodded furiously.

" Yes! I made a drawing while mummy was working." Jaehyuk smiled and pointed to the paper on the table.

Yoongi smiled brightly before it fell in a questionable frown.

" Since when is there a frog in the family?"

" Mummy hurry up!" Jaehyuk yelled as you were putting your shoes on.

" Yeah mum, hurry up! We want to go see the baby bunnies!" Yoongi teased you, holding Jaehyuk's hand.

" I'd watch it if I were you mr.Min, you might sleep on the couch if you can't behave." You teased him back.

Yoongi held his hands up in surrender as response.

" Let's goo!" Jaehyuk cheered as you all lefr the apartment.

The walk to the petting zoo was peaceful.

" Let's go see the goats!" Jaehyuk cheered as he walked off as soon as you entered the place.

" Hyuk hold up! Don't walk off without us!" Yoongi called after him while you closef the gate of the zoo.

Jaehyuk remained unbothered.

" Look dadda! A donkey!" He smiled, pointing at the animal who was just eating hay. 

Jarhyuk was amazed by everything in the petting zoo, from the donkeys to the chickens and even the hay was interesting for him. You and Yoongi were really just trying not to lose him out of your sight.

" You want to feed the goats Hyuk?" You asked as he saw how other kids were feeding them.

Hyuk nodded enthusiastically.

" Wait here with dad okay? I'll be right back." You smiled at him as he nodded.

While you went to a random stand where they sold small goat food thingies, Jaehyuk stayed with Yoongi.

Yoongi watched Jaehyuk play around with the baby goats with a smile. He knew that he would be gone whitin a month, but he couldn't help but hate the tough of it.

" It's not often that you see a guy going to the petting zoo." A woman with dyed brown hair approached Yoongi with a smile.

Yoongi's expression turned neutral as he turned to her.

" Yeah, well, I'm here with my son." He shrugged.

The woman's smile turned a little wider.

" Awe, that's real cute." 

Yoongi shrugged again and turned away, obviously not intrested in her.

" Hey, um, my name's Lin. Would you maybe like to go out with me sometime?" She asked.

" Nope. I have a girlfriend." He stated bluntly.

Lin blinked before awkwardly shuffling away.

Yoongi turned his attention back to Jaehyuk, suprised to see you holding him while feeding goats.

" Haha, look mummy, that one looks like Milka, let's call him that." Jaehyuk smiled as you held him on your hip while he was feeding the goats. ( And boi, did this little boy grow, he was certainly not as light as Naeun.)

" You were here and didn't even greet me." Yoongi pouted as he approuched you, taking Jaehyuk from you as he saw you struggle.

" You were talking to someone. I didn't want to disturb you." You shrugged.

" She asked me on a date, you know." Yoongi bit his lip, curious of your reaction.

" Okay." 

"Really? Just okay? I tough you were deadass in love with me. " Yoongi said, sort of hurt but not actually hurt but really just curious.

" Yep. I am indeed deadass in love with you. And I'm in a relationship with you. In other words, I trust you." You winked at him.

Yoongi smiled cheekily and blushed a bit, happy with your answer. He bit his lip before silently kissing your cheek.

You blushed in response while Yoongi turned away nonchalantly.

" Let's go see the pretty birds now buddy."

Meanwhile Lin watched silently from a distance, not even feeling bad because he turned her down harshly. Because how did you manage to make him this flustered?

" Hey, um, I have to tell you something." Yoongi wishpered as Jaehyuk was already fast asleep in your arms.

" Yes, is something wrong?" You asked concerned.

" No, it's just, I um, want to sort of warn you about my family." Yoongi said, avoiding eye contact.

" What? Why?" You asked confused.

" My parents, they aren't as open as yours. My dad won't be pleasant, if we even get to see him, but I think my mom will like you." Yoongi told you.

" Hey, Yoongz, don't worry. We got this, remember?" You smiled at him.

He smiled back at you.

" Good night Y/N." 

" Night Yoyo."

He certainly wasn't joking when he said his parents were cold people. His mum had been at home to greet you two when you arrived, and had been somewhat nice to you. Yoongi's father remained a mystery, you hadn't seen him at all. The last part didn't suprise you too much, as Yoongi apparently lived in a mansion. Jaehyuk suprisingly didn't mind Yoongis' mother's coldness. Something about her seemed to ease the boy and suprisingly she liked him too.

" So, I hope you don't mind sharing a bed again. But I can always fix one of the guest bedrooms up for you if you'd rather sleep by yourself of course." Yoongi scratched the back of his head as he led you into his room.

" That's a joke right? If we're allowed to become a cuddle puddle, than I don't want to have it any other way." You smiled at him.

He smiled in return. Jaehyuk ended up playing with Yoongi's mother for the rest of the afternoon, and the two of you ended up  relaxing and watching movies together in his room, until it was time for dinner.

" Should I change in normal clothing?" You asked Yoongi as you were both called downstairs for dinner.

" What why? My mother won't mind it if we show up like this and I really don't care about what my father thinks." Yoongi shrugged.

You nodded.

" Yoongi, tonight we will be going to a party. You can take the child and your current plaything with you-"

" Excuse you?! What did you just call me?" You cut Yoongi's father off, stabbing your food a little too fierce.

Yoongi's mother' her eyes widen.

His father smiled rather wickedly.

" My, you don't think that he's taking you serious is he? There's bigger expectations for him. Expectations you cannot ever reach." 

You glared at him, hard.

" Jaehyuk sweetie, will you please go and play upstairs? The adults will have a little talk." You cooed at your little boy, who nodded timidly and obediently went upstairs.

" Now, sir. First of all, the reason why I can't reach your expectations is because they are too low. Second of all, I do not appreciate being called a 'plaything'." You decided to act like an adult last minute.

Yoongi's dad looked at you with an unimpressed expression. Yoongi decided that wouldn't handle his father's attitude either today, set his cutlery down gently before folding his hands while looking at the man.

" She isn't my plaything father. She's my girlfriend. I hope you'll treat her like respect. Also, if you want me to come to the party, then I would like it if my girlfriemd and my child can join." Yoongi asked, sharply, not breaking eye contact.

" Your girlfriend can. The staff can look after Jaehyuk for the night, he's still young and it will be boring for him there. We're also not leaving early." Yoongi's mother answered Yoongi's question before his father could.

Yoongi father stood up and agressively slammed his hands down at the table before smirking.

" Fine, your little girlfriend can come allong.  Don't let her show up in a cheap dress." His father smiled, something what made Yoongi strangely uncomfortable before leaving.

Yoongi's mother smiled at you.

" You're a keeper, darling. You better treat her right Yoongi, don't let her slip trough your fingers."

“Stupid mutts,” Jimin hisses as he slips into the bedroom behind Yoongi. Yoongi only grumbles under his breath as he makes a beeline for their private bathroom. Thankfully the sink is deep enough to wash the part of his tail that the fox hybrid touched.

“Disgusting,” Yoongi snarls as he grabs the shampoo you bought for him, squeezing out way more product than necessary as he starts to lather up his fur. Jimin quietly sinks down on the toilet next to the sink, his tail wrapping comfortingly around Yoongi’s leg.

“Hyung, what are we going to do?” Jimin whines, his gray cat ears drooping on his head. “I know we said we would try, but they’re dogs, hyung. I’m literally holding myself back from scratching out their big ugly eyes whenever I see them.”

Yoongi doesn’t make a sound as he furiously scrubs his fur, his eyebrows pinched in concentration.

“Hyung?” Jimin gives his alpha’s leg a squeeze when he doesn’t respond.

“I’m thinking Minnie,” Yoongi sighs, carding his fingers through his tail to make sure it won’t knot as it dries. The younger cat hybrid nods, resting his head in his hands as he waits for Yoongi to finish up.

Yoongi watches as the suds slip down the drain, his already dark tail looking almost pitch black now that it’s wet. There’s not much they can do really, not unless they want to get thrown out on their asses. But, Yoongi also can’t stand the thought having to live with those rodents and canines for the foreseeable future, and definitely not forever. If they’re going to make the others want to leave, they’re going to have to be sneaky about it.
