SUMMARY: It's not like you meant to get in trouble with Batman himself by hacking him and finding his identity, you were just bored.
Reader is trans!
A/N: Don't want to be that guy but if you liked this, it would be cool if you followed me/reblogged so it can reach more people! I'm new here so it would be great help. Requests are also open if anyone is interested. Not much x Tim on this one, its more like an origins story thingy. Check out part 2 tho.
PART TWO.

Okay, you had fucked up this time.
It's not like you even meant to do so, you had been working so hard the last year to get a decent laptop and it had gotten broken in ten seconds by a stupid virus.
Well, maybe you were at fault for successfully hacking into Batman's super-secure system and revising a lot of his ultra-secret archives, but how would you have known he would send a virus your way the minute he found you out?
Just the thought of going back to making greasy pizzas and only eating that for a whole year made you gag… And it's not like you could go to Batman and make him buy you a new computer, even if now you knew who he was. That would just mean he had the chance to put you in prison, or worse, tell your guardians.
Luckily, he could not track you down. You had created your security and were using Gotham Public Library's internet. Even if they came for you, you'd be long gone. Or so you thought.
One of the librarians, probably the last one on shift, let you know she was closing soon. You left the place with a useless computer packed in your messenger bag.
Fixing this was gonna take a while.
Walking alone at night in Gotham normally was pretty scary for people who lived in the city and knew how dangerous it was, you had never been worried about it though; no one back at home cared if you came back, and it's not like you were interesting enough to be part of a crime. Plus, Batman and company were out there to protect you and everyone else.
Right after rounding the corner, just a few blocks from home, you felt a slight pinch in your arm. Something like a needle, you figured, and if you were right you wouldn't like what was next.
Not like you had time to figure that out because you immediately blacked out.
You woke up still a bit dizzy, all you could tell was that you were sitting. Your first instinct was to rub your eyes to wake up but once you tried, your hands were not able to reach your face, something was holding them down. your second reaction was to fully wake up and panic, making you completely aware of your surroundings.
The place looked like a standard interrogation room, or at least from what you have seen in movies. You couldn't move your hands because you were cuffed on a table, there was an empty chair in front of it but no two-way mirrors anywhere. However, there was a camera hanging by the ceiling in a corner.
"This is stupid," you looked directly at the camera, talking to whoever was watching you. "If you wanted money, you got the wrong kid. Dude, I'm a foster kid and we’re poor."
There was no answer.
"You're fucking dumb," you laughed, hoping some teasing would bring whoever was keeping you to the room and get you an explanation on what was happening. "You really tried so hard and you got the wrong fucking person. Honestly, I would be embarrassed."
A door opened behind you, making you smile and shake at the same time. The person walked slowly and silently to the empty chair, it was all probably for the drama of it. Then you saw him.
It was the fucking Red Robin.
"What the hell? Have you gone rogue or some shit?" you were confused, he was supposed to be one of the good guys who never held people captive unless they did something bad, was he not?
He ignored your question.
"How did you hack into our computers?"
Oh, that made more sense now. Of course, even if you were smart, they had much more resources than you, and finding you wouldn't be as hard as you thought.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," you lied. Maybe acting stupid would save you from this one, at least you hoped so.
"I tracked you. I know what you've seen and what you know. But I have nothing on you, who do you work for?"
"Lenny's pizza, it's on Belmont Street," you answered honestly. "Though I wouldn't recommend their stuff, Pizza is too greasy and they're really stingy with the pepperoni. Cheese is not great quality either."
"Do you think you're funny?" he ran his hands through his hair, clearly frustrated.
"Well, sometimes I make pretty good jokes. I'm not good under pressure though, maybe if you uncuff me I'll tell you a pretty good one."
"Who do you work for?" he growled, getting up from the seat.
He started walking around, you couldn't decipher if it was because he was nervous himself or to make you nervous. You had seen Red Robin in action before, though. He was smart, it was all probably an act to get you to talk.
"Brooo," you complained. "I already told you, I work at Lenny's."
"Then you sold the information."
"I would be out of this damn city if that was the case, birdy." You laughed at his accusation.
"I'll call Batman if you don't tell me what you've done."
You were a big Batman fan, you liked his work and were grateful for it but who really does want to be on the enemy end of his work? not you, he was pretty scary after all.
"Fine!" you huffed. "I did hack into your system and confirmed your identities. Not like it was a surprise to me, to be honest, I had my suspicions."
He looked at you, his eyes asking you to go on.
"Well, first of all, you have got to be damn rich to have all the equipment Batman has and I asked myself, Who in Gotham has the mo-"
His fist loudly hit the table and you rolled your eyes, his intimidation tactics were not working. Maybe it was because you were already nervous, you just were great at pretending nothing was happening. not like he needed to know all that.
"Just tell me what I want to know."
"Ugh, you're boring" you grunted, he didn't care. "I was bored and wanted to test my skills."
"That can't be just it."
You started to explain.
"Well, I wanted to see if I was smart enough to take a complex security system. When I thought which one would be the hardest inside of Gotham– and not the world," you interrupted yourself, excited. "Because hello? I'm still a teenager, I'll have time to take on the whole world and maybe even the universe later. What I mean to say is, you won that complexity award inside my mind and I had fun with it."
He left the room with no words, leaving you confused.
Hours later he came back, the sound the rusty door made when opened made you cringe. This time Red Robin, who you knew the name was Timothy, sat carefully on the chair and kept looking behind, like waiting for something. He didn't talk."
"What the hell is wrong with you?" you were quick to anger. It was all so stupid, this guy had kept you for a few hours in there for no reason and now he was silent and looking at what you assumed was nothing. You wanted to go back to your house, eat something and take a nap.
"You have two options," a distorted voice spoke from behind. You had never heard it but you immediately knew who it belonged to.
"Dude? You said you wouldn't bring the big scary bird in here," you squealed. "Fucking shit, you're an absolute liar. If I wasn't cuffed to this damn table I would–"
"You work for me," the voice interrupted once again, still standing behind you. "Or I'll send you to prison."
"I'll tell everyone in prison Bruce Wayne is Batman if you do that shit."
"Will they believe you?" Tim asked with a smirk.
"Fuck you, Timothy. You have the dumbest name I have ever heard and your hair is ugly.”
Batman didn't seem to care about your comments, but you could see Red Robin’s face, he was squinting and you could tell how hard he was trying not to snap at you and look uninterested and professional in front of the big guy. It was a bit funny.
“Okay,” you accepted the offer, they had you cornered. At least you had something new to do in your free time.
Tim took some keys out of his utility belt, uncuffing you with them while you unsuccessfully tried to cover your laughs with a cough. Something about utility belt keys was just so dumb, you noted in your mind to tease Tim about it later. Once you were able to get up you looked back at Batman, who was still waiting at the door. He was even scarier up close.
“Don't try anything funny,” the teen warned you.
“Why the fuck would I do that? You fight criminals as a hobby, dude.”
“Don’t call me dude, that’s not my name.”
“Whatever,” you dismissed him. “I'm just good with computers, I have no idea how to fight and I'm shitting myself by just looking at Batman right now.”
They lead you outside, where you had a ride on the batmobile to Wayne Manor and ultimately the Batcave. Tim was in charge of telling you everything about their computer systems and Bruce introduced you to the rest of their family.
Everyone was excited to meet you, some were a bit suspicious but you couldn't blame them. Jason became one of your favorite persons the moment you met him, both bonding over sarcasm and teasing Tim. Damian wasn't interested in you at all and Duke was shy but welcoming. Dick and Steph offered to be your ‘bat tour guides’ and Cass tagged along to keep an eye on you.
Now you not only had something new to do in your free time but also a whole bunch of new friends.

Damian Wayne: How dare you mock me in such a manner?!
Jason Todd: Well, how would you like me to mock you, then? I take requests.
SUCKER | Tim Drake X Male!Reader. PART 2
SUMMARY: You go to school with a black eye, no one knows where it comes from. You consider self defense lessons.
Reader is trans!
WARNINGS: there's a mention of domestic abuse.
A/N: I like this reader and I might have some ideas to continue this in the back of my mind, just gotta know if ppl likle it before continuing, lmk if u do so. If u also have any ideas for next parts u wanna share, reqs r open Smile.
PART ONE.

You had been feeling the stares since you got to school, you felt it when people turned their heads around to check back on you when they passed beside you and you certainly could hear the whispers. The teachers tried talking to you and asking about it and you tried avoiding it until your math teacher decided you should just go directly to the principal.
You got it. It was their job as adults to care about the stupid black eye you had come to school with, but did they really have to? you had never gotten in trouble and you were straight A's students, they were able to afford to just..let this one pass.
Now you were sitting on a very uncomfortable chair in front of the principal, he was looking at you, waiting for you to start an already finished talk.
“Why don’t I call your parents?” he said, taking his glasses off.
“Guardians,” you corrected. “They’re busy right now.”
He sighed and nodded while inclining his body closer to his desk, closer to you. “Is there anyone else I can call?”
You could have just lied and said no. You grabbed the backpack that was sitting between your legs and looked for the card Bruce had given you with his job phone number, you guessed this could be classified as an emergency.
“Here,” you put it on the desk, close to his phone. He seemed confused about it and simultaneously so entertained, it felt like he was gonna laugh at you. “I have an internship at Wayne Tech, I’m his responsibility when my guardians can't,'' you explained and he just nodded and dialed the number you gave him.
A few months ago, Bruce had asked you to transfer to Gotham Academy and you had declined; it was great working with him, both as Bruce and as Batman, and the opportunity was amazing. It just didn't feel right to let him pay for all of that when you barely knew each other, you still felt unworthy of everything he and his family had been given you since you met. Sometimes you regretted your decision.
You were sent to wait by the seats outside of the principal's office and half an hour later, you saw Dick Grayson running at you in the hallway. Of course, you had expected him or Alfred to come to your rescue, Bruce Wayne was a very busy man. You found yourself a bit bothered by this, in the past months, while he passed onto you all of his detective knowledge and mentored you, you and Bruce had developed some kind of father-son relationship, or at least you looked up to him as the closest thing you have ever gotten to a father figure. Regardless, Dick was also very close to you, so it wasn't that bad that he was here.
He greeted you with a simple pat on your shoulder and went inside the office to talk.
From Your seat you could hear what was happening inside, the principal started the conversation talking about how your looks could ruin the school reputation, accused you of looking for fights outside of school, and asked Dick what kind of people you hung out with. You could see Dick fuming from your place, his voice sounded forced and you knew his ears would be smoking if that was physically possible. Dick was very protective of those who he loved and you admired him a lot for that, it felt good knowing he was protective of you too, it let you know he cared.
He came out of it visibly angry, making you snicker. His eyes softened when he saw you, he smiled and grabbed your backpack while nodding at you to come with him.
The ride in the car was silent, none of you knew how to start a conversation about what was happening until Dick parked his car. The street was not familiar to you so you assumed that just was where he was gonna let you go, maybe you had gotten it all wrong earlier and he was angry with you for making him come pick you up. He stopped you when you were about to open the door.
“Who did it?” he softly asked.
You shrugged your shoulders. “I don't really wanna talk about it but don't worry about it, it was nothing.”
“You know you can always talk to me, right?”
You just nodded.
“Okay. Let’s just go home.”
Wayne Manor had quickly become more of a home than the place where you lived with your foster parents and the other kids that were like you. Everyone at the mansion liked you being there, the meals always left you full and you had so much fun there. You had learned so much from everyone in the family and they always made you feel welcome and loved.
Of course, you didn't live there despite Bruce giving you your room to come back to, you still had to live with the people who were put in charge of you. They never cared at what hours you came back home to or where you left, they only cared about the kids giving good impressions of them to the neighbors and having good grades.
The house was big, you had gotten lost various times within your first weeks. Damian quickly got tired of it and had drawn you a map of the whole house for you to always carry, you didn't need it anymore but it was always on the pocket of your pants: it was one of the first signs of him caring for you had gotten, even if he acted annoyed when giving it.
Once you got to the house, the first one to greet you at the door was Ace, he jumped on you, tipping you off and making you fall to the ground. You giggled while he was liking your face.
Damian wasn't far behind, you could always find the kid close to one of his animals. He told Ace off and helped you get up, his eyes never leaving the bruise on your face. You could tell he wanted to ask but instead of answers you gave him a little smile and ruffled his hair. He left, slightly annoying.
"I'm going down, got some work to do," you announced. Dirk opened and closed his mouth, wanting to say something but not knowing how. You waited for something intelligent to come out of his mouth but it never made it, he just told you to go ahead and went to do his own thing.
Tim was sitting in front of the computer, working when he heard you go down the stairs in the Batcave. He could tell it was you by the sound your steps made, since you started working with them and walking around the house, everyone could tell where you were by how much louder it was compared to the rest of them.
You and Tim had a weird relationship. At work you are great together, helping each other out when something was hard for one of you, Bruce had even complimented your communication various times. even when he was out on the field and you were back at the Batcave, you had one of the best teamwork. Once the job was finished, the communication wasn't so great anymore, you enjoyed teasing him and calling him absurd names and he liked reciprocating that.
Tim trusted you and wished you were closer to him like you were to the rest of his family, but those words were hard to say out loud.
He didn’t bother to stop his typing and greet you until you were standing behind him. You didn’t say anything but he felt your soft breathing on the top of his head, making his heart jump a little. You inclined your body forwards, shifting some of your weight on his chair, your arm reached over his shoulder to grab something and your chest briefly touched his back.
“You still drinking this shit?” you whispered in his ear, struggling to hold a smile. He tensed, your face was close to his and he could feel the warmth in his cheeks and ears. He coughed, trying to regain his composure, and turned around making you walk away from him. You were holding his mug.
“Caffeine makes me productive, you should try doing that sometime.”
“Caffeine will also make you die at forty.” You joked.
Diverting his eyes from your hands, he finally looked at your face. The purple hues around your eye made Tim hiss, he quickly got up from his seat to stand right in front of you.
His hands gently grabbed your face while his eyes thoroughly checked the bruise. This time, you were the one blushing at the closeness.
"Will you finally tell Bruce about this?" He whispered, his soft eyes looking down at you while his thumbs rubbed your cheeks. At your narrowed eyes, he continued. "I know this was one of your guardians."
You denied it with your head. "That's not what's happening."
"Then what is happening?"
You broke the contact, walked a few steps back, and crossed your arms.
"I thought you didn't like me outside of work," you teased, trying to change the subject. Tim replied by calling your name, a signal to stop.
In surrender, you put your hands up. Tim sighed, looking at you without uttering a word. He was waiting for an explanation you couldn't give him.
"Would you teach me self-defense?"

Their relationship was like.
Holiday Party

Damian Wayne x reader
He’s about 16 yrs old here.
Warning: Christmas? Kissing
Christmas series 4
You were early. Damian looked out his door to see no one around and he rushed downstairs to meet you at the door. You were being dropped off by your older brother who gave Damian a look from the front seat of his car that all but said he’d mess Damian up if he hurt you. Funny to think about your brother trying to beat him up but he would never consider it. Damian opened your car door for you.
“Beloved, you’re early,” he said with a grin. Your brother gave a rough hey and Damian’s face dropped and he gave a curt nod. “I’ll have Alfred drop her off so you won’t have to pick her up,” Damian told him. Your brother nodded again before leaving.
Damian barely held your finger with his own as he walked you up to his room. He didn’t want his brothers to see him being affectionate. He pulled you into his room and engulfed you in a huge hug. He wasn’t short little Dami anymore but had been hit by puberty like a bus and was almost 6 foot tall. He smelled like cologne and his sweater was so freaking soft. You felt the fabric on his chest with your hand and he stiffened and coughed a little. Oh yeah, he could feel that. You flushed.
“So you want to watch a movie?” Damian said pulling away.
“Yeah. Sounds great,” you said sitting on his bed pulling your shoes off. You slid up the bed to lay on his pillow as he grabbed his laptop.
“Drake doesn’t know but I’ve set it up that every film he downloads, I get a copy too so I’ve got a bunch. Though his taste is pretty sappy for some of these,” Damian said wrinkling his nose.
“Probably to watch with his girlfriend. Or maybe he’s a sap,” you laughed. Damian climbed on the bed and laid the laptop on the other side of you. His arms temporarily caged you against him and you couldn’t help but think of him on top of you. Damian laid back as the film started playing. He put two pillows behind his head to watch from behind you. You laid on your side and he wrapped an arm around your waist loosely.
The film was probably great. All you could think of was how close your boyfriend in the softest boyfriend sweater was right beside you. You slid farther back until your back hit his chest. He inhaled audibly but didn’t move. Damian cursed himself. You had definitely heard that.
You ran your hand along the arm of his sweater as the movie went on. He smelled a little like soft cologne and spiced tea. Everything was fine until there was a sex scene. Nothing graphic but enough to where you were both very aware of your situation. Damian slid his body a little back from you making a little space between you and him.
You turned to look at him and he couldn’t help but brush his lips against yours. You slowly turned in his arms until you were making out while laying on your side. Damian held your face softly with one hand. Your fingers slid into his hair. His tongue slipped into your mouth gently just exploring you.
The door to his room opened.
“Master Damian, your father needs you in his study at your earliest convenience. Also... do take care with your visitors. You are only 16,” Alfred said, looking pointedly at the ceiling before leaving. Damian flushed on his tan skin. you covered your mouth and giggled, embarrassed.
“At least it wasn’t your dad,” you said. He nodded as he stood up.
“I won’t be long. Just watch the movie and I’ll be back as quick as I can,” Damian said and you noted that his lips were pink and maybe even a little swollen from kissing.
“Yeah, no problem.”
It took all of 1.7 minutes for Bruce to notice his son’s lips. His eyes narrowed a little and he looked critically at Damian who was staring at the computer screen.
“Damian, you are of the age where sexual education is important. You are practicing safe sex, yes?” Bruce asked in an even tone as if almost casually but really he wanted to seem calm. Damian twisted so fast to look at his father.
“I am not,” he said quickly.
“You aren’t??” Bruce asked shocked. “That’s very dangerous-“
“I’m not having sex. At all,” Damian said completely red. Bruce calmed.
“None? Because condoms-“
“Father, I’ve been taught. And if I do have sex I will be safe but I’m not now,” Damian said. He refused to look anywhere but the screen. “How did Alfred tell you so fast?” He complained.
“Tell me? Is there something to tell me? You know what? Don’t answer that. I trust you. There is a bowl of condoms under the sink in the bathroom off my study. All of the boys use it and it stays full. No questions asked. And the family doctor is very discreet for any questions you might have,” Bruce said delicately.
“Okay. I got it. Thanks. But please stop. Tell me about the case,” Damian practically begged.
——————————
It was not a few minutes but a full 2 hours later that Damian came back to his room. You were asleep. A movie played in the background and you hug his pillow. Damian smiled a little before waking you. It was almost time for his brothers to arrive. You sat up quickly. You’d never fallen asleep at his place.
“Sorry I was so long. Family stuff,” he said vaguely. He did that all the time. “It’s almost time for the party.”
“Oh I need to get ready,” you sat up. You’d planned to get started a little earlier. You didn’t dress fancy around Damian; he didn’t care. But his family’s Christmas was fairly formal.
“Is this okay?” You asked 20 minutes later. Damian nodded with a little smile.
“You look beautiful in anything, beloved. But this is exceptional,” he said and you flushed. His way with words. “It’s time to go down stairs.”
Damian took your hand and you walked downstairs. His eyes lingered on you longer than necessary. Somehow Tim and his girlfriend and Duke had beat you both downstairs. Damian pulled out a chess board and Tim and Bruce once again dragged work into every room they entered.
“I won’t go easy on you,” Damian warned. He was far better at strategy but your moments on the board were incredibly erratic to the point that he couldn’t predict your next move.
“I wouldn’t expect anything else. If you did, I’d expect a body snatcher,” you said and he hazarded a small smile. Damian didn’t want to appear too pleased. Bruce was watching him while maintaining conversation. You understood his weird stoic family dynamic enough to ignore it.
Damian won 3 out of 4 games. You could admit that your win was more luck than skill but you took it. Dick and his girlfriend arrived and the party moved to the dining room.
After a few minutes, a man you had never seen showed up humming to introduce himself and his date. The butler seemed very happy and for a minute you wondered if it was his son. No, this was the mysterious brother who was always fighting with the family.
“Dami, who is that?” You asked whispering.
“Jason Todd, one of my father’s wards. And I suppose his girlfriend,” Damian said. You nodded and watched as they sat down. Later in the evening, the eldest, that Damian had even called his brother, proposed to his girlfriend.
You were given a small glass of champagne and you looked at it quietly. Did they forget you and Damian were 16? Not exactly legal. But you didn’t say anything and you both drank the tiny amount of alcohol with everyone else. Damian squeezed your hand and gave you a tiny smile.
The party moved to the parlor with a billiards table and a dart board on the wall. The adults were served more alcohol and pudding was served informally. A tasty sticky cake that you dare not asked the ingredients was quickly eaten. You and Damian sat on a loveseat in the corner where you could watch the others play billiards and other games. Tim and Jason played a heated game of 9 ball. Jason was a natural. Tim was all strategy.
You leaned against Damian’s shoulder as the storm raged outside. You were full and the room was warm.
“It’s far too dangerous to drive out tonight. It’s turned into a blizzard so you all will stay here. There are plenty of rooms and beds for everyone and anything you could need,” Bruce announced to the group. Jason sighed and Damian opened his mouth. “I’ll call her parents to let them know. Don’t worry Damian.”
Damian relaxed and wrapped an arm around your shoulder. You began to doze as the pool games played. He ran his fingers along your outer arm and watched from the corner of his eyes as you fell asleep. He enjoyed your body warmth and soft sweet scent subtly.
An hour later you woke as you were slowly being moved. Strong arms cradled you and you could smell Damian’s pleasant unique scent strongly. You gripped his arm as he carried you out of the room. He hushed softly to let you go back to sleep.
“You got him shot?!” One of the women in the room yelped and you jolted awake.
“It’s okay. Go back to sleep, beloved. Don’t mind my stupid brothers,” Damian said quietly. He gently laid you on his bed and pulled you in the covers. His soft sheets quickly lulled you to sleep.
While you slept, he grabbed blankets and settled on the floor. Half an hour later, right as Damian was falling asleep, Bruce opened the door quietly. He saw the boy on the floor, nodded, and shut the door.
Andrew's Spider-Man and supervillain reader?
Your Favorite Villain│Andrew Garfield!Spiderman x Villain!Reader
Warnings: Brief descriptions of violence; some suggestive content; set in tasm!
Word Count: 1k
Summary: You have no desire to be a hero, so you’re not above causing some havoc to catch the attention of the Amazing Spiderman.
Author's Note: No spoilers for Spiderman: NWH! Thank you anon for putting in a request, I hope I did you justice. I did try to keep this gender-neutral, but I may have subconsciously written this regarding a feminine reader, so sorry about that. I wanted to do a sort of enemies to lovers trope and was inspired by Spiderman and Black Cat’s dynamic. Also to clear any confusion about (Y/n)’s power, they essentially have the ability to teleport themselves or whatever inanimate object they desire.

Feet dangling over the edge of a building, you hum a small tune as you wait for a certain someone to appear. Pulling the box closer to your figure, you examine the priceless items kept inside. Taking out a necklace, you’re quick to clutch it to your person when you hear the sound of Spiderman land behind you.
“You left a mess back at the museum. That’s not like you.”
“Museum?” Standing up, you play dumb before holding the necklace up in front of him. “Oh! Museum! I was wondering how I got all these nice things.”
While you couldn’t see the man behind the mask, you were sure he was rolling his eyes at your antics. Setting the expensive jewelry back in the box, you sigh. “I’m just joking. You can take a joke, can’t you? Or does Spiderman not have a sense of humor?”
Going to pick up the box, you stumble in surprise as you feel his webs tie your wrists together. Hands bound by his webs, you stare at him with a sly smirk. “Do you love binding your enemies, or am I just lucky?”
Peter doesn’t answer, merely shaking his head. The hero walks up towards you, moving the box of stolen artifacts away from you before grabbing your bound wrists. “Come on. We’re going to the station.”
“Do we have to?” You lift your arms, hooking them around the hero's neck to bring him close to you. “You know how this’ll go down anyways. We’ll fight, I’ll give you most of the artifacts back as a sign of a truce before sneaking off. Why not save our energy and do something more productive?”
Glancing down at where his lips would be, you wait in silence, giving him time to think before sighing. Spiderman had too strong of morals. Yet, something happened. Something different than usual. You felt his arms wrap around your waist as he released the sound of a strained sigh. “I don’t get you. One moment you’re stealing from museums, banks, taking anything you want, and then the next, you’re saving citizens by my side. Why do you do it?”
“Why does it matter?” Bringing your face closer to his, you bite your lip. “Hero, villain…Labels are just so restricting. I do things because I want to.”
His grip on you tightens, making you sigh longingly. The two of you enjoy the moment, well aware that neither of you would settle this with ease. Not tonight, anyway. His morals were too strong, and yours too fluid. Still, for these brief seconds, he could ignore what you stole and you his unwavering ability to always be a hero. And so, you kiss him softly through his mask, leaning into his embrace ever so slightly.
“Sorry, Spidey.”
Your apology was quick as you brought your knee up to his stomach before flashing away, appearing at the next building, webs no longer restraining you. You wave teasingly, a smile on your face as you hold the box of artifacts. Peering inside, you huff in annoyance as you realize Spiderman had taken the necklace, the one thing you desired the most from your stolen goods. As if on cue, the hero calls your attention, waving the piece of jewelry from his spot.
“Looking for something?”
“You’re insufferable, you know that?”
You hear him laugh while swinging towards you, clearly amused by your remark. The box of items disappears from your hold, warping to a location he wouldn’t be able to find without you. He comments on how that’s cheating, making you laugh as you warp, appearing behind him. Attempting to swing at his head with your leg, he catches your foot mere centimeters away. Grunting, he keeps a firm grip while turning around to face you. He swings your foot away, causing you to stumble. The hero catches you with ease, your back against his chest.
“This is certainly an interesting position,” you comment under your breath, aware he can hear you and probably your racing heart.
“Do you always deflect with humor?”
“Just around you.” Again you disappear, now standing at the ledge of the roof. You hold the necklace he had and place it around your neck. “You’re fun to tease and you can’t say you don’t enjoy it.”
He doesn’t respond, making you laugh in response. Silence had never been so loud. Toying with the necklace around your neck, you tilt your head. “I’ll make you a deal, Spidey. I keep the necklace, and you get the rest of the artifacts. Sound fair?”
“I need all of the items. I’m not bargaining with a thief.”
Placing a hand over your chest, you feign being hurt by his comment. “Just a thief? And to think we shared a kiss.”
The two of you stand at opposite ends of the building, neither of you making a move. If you wanted to, you could disappear with the stolen artifacts. In fact, you probably could have taken them without him being aware in the first place. Peter could never understand why you did what you did. You were an enigma, and he was curious to know who was under the mask.
“Clock’s ticking, Spidey. What’s it going to be?”
“You can keep the necklace.”
“That’s a good boy.” You say with a smile on your lips. The box reappears, this time by Peter’s feet. “Pleasure doing business—”
Your sentence is cut short, Spiderman launching a web and pulling you towards him. You let him do so and don’t struggle as he slowly removes the necklace, his fingers brushing at the edge of your mask. Waiting with bated breath, waiting for him to remove it, you watch as he only takes the necklace.
“You could have taken it off.” You whisper, eyeing him suspiciously. “Don’t you want to see who the criminal behind the mask is?”
“I’d rather you willingly do it yourself.” Peter answers before stepping away from you.
“Will I ever get to see the Spider behind the mask? I mean, if I take mine off, it’s only fair.”
“Maybe, but I don’t reward criminals.”
“Not even the ones you like?”
“Try to go straight, alright? You have a gift, one that could be used to help people.”
You had no plans to change your ways. Yet the tone in his voice, his belief that you could do better…shook something in you. Lightly pushing him away, you begin to back towards the ledge again. Blowing him a kiss, you watch as the world shifts, your vision distorting as you start to warp yourself to another location.
“I’ll think about it.”
