Is there a polite way to tell someone that you don't want someone involved in your au? I told someone the storyline yesterday bc I wanted to rant about it and we were talking about something that linked to it and now they're trying to help design characters and plan stuff and like I'm trying to be nice but like it's my au.
"what are we thinking about ___" no? No I'm planning it? It's my story? I always stay out of it when they make stuff unless they ask me to do something but every time I tell them about an oc, au or fanfic they get so involved. (They literally drew my oc and changed stuff about them without asking. They also claimed something I did would be out of character when I literally invented them)
Like I have the entire thing planned out and I have never even mentioned the design apart from mentioning a yellow t shirt once, stop trying to design my characters??
