She’s startled for a moment, but soon enough she’s wrapping her arms around Ryujin and pulling her close. It’s almost like she doesn’t have a choice, her body moving faster than her mind. Ryujin’s mouth is hot, and she tugs at Yeji’s lower lip with her teeth, tangles a hand into her hair. She tastes even better than Yeji remembered (she’s been hating herself for thinking about that taste in the moments between wakefulness and sleep). Then Ryujin’s hand slides down, and she squeezes Yeji’s ass. She groans in a combination of shock and pleasure before breaking the kiss. “It’s like you’re trying to piss me off,” she mutters against Ryujin’s lips, unable to fully pull away.  “Maybe I am.”

The game is almost over, and Yeji finally looks like she’s feeling it. Her breaths are coming heavy as she waits, and Ryujin can see how much she’s sweating even from a distance. Looking like her mind is completely elsewhere, Yeji grabs the bottom hem of her jersey and brings it up to her forehead to wipe away the sweat.  Ryujin has seen Yeji’s body before (obviously), but this feels different. Maybe it’s the way her skin, golden and toned, contrasts with the soft pink of her jersey. Maybe it’s how alive she looks. She’s not sitting still, bored out of her mind. She’s panting, the sheen of sweat making her glow, body singing with the way it’s being used, pushed, loved. Maybe it’s just— “Actually, you know what?” Chaeryeong muses aloud, “Maybe soccer isn’t so bad after all.”
