Could You Write A Little Something About You And George Maybe Babysitting One Of The Guys Kids And George

β€œJohn!!” Heather yelled, running down the grocery store aisle towards you.

β€œNo love, I’m George,” your husband reminded her, stifling a smile. You smiled at him, shaking your head.

β€œI can’t say that!” she cried indignantly, putting her hands on her hips. β€œToo hard.”

George laughed. β€œAlright. Did you find the cereal you wanted?”

β€œYes! Come look!” Heather said proudly, grabbing your hand and pulling you down the cereal aisle.

You shared a smile with George, who was picking a crying baby Mary out of the cart basket.

β€œI told you you can’t keep her in there!” you called over your shoulder.

β€œIt’s only because she was next to the milk!” George protested.

Smiling, you shook your head and let Heather lead you. She pointed to a box of... Fruity Pebbles Cereal?

What in the world?

β€œMommy lets me have this every day!” Heather told you.

β€œReally? Your mom lets you have... that?”

β€œUm, yes! Every day!”

Linda Eastman let her... oh.

You sighed. β€œLet’s have this check cereal, okay? I’m sorry.”

Heather pouted. β€œAw.”

β€œI know, I know. Hey, guess what?” you asked, clapping your hands excitedly.

β€œWhat? What?” Heather cried, jumping up and down, her headband slipping off a little.

β€œI’ll buy that, so you can have it tomorrow morning before your mom and dad come home, alright?”

Heather squealed, pulling it off the shelf. β€œThanks, Yoko!”

You winced. β€œNo, that’s... I mean.. okay.”

Taking the two boxes of cereal, you led her to where you had left George. Who conveniently wasn’t there anymore.

β€œHmmm,” you said, turning around. β€œI wonder where George and your sister and your mommy and daddy’s groceries are.”

β€œMaybe a girl got ’em,” Heather said seriously, crossing her arms and nodding knowingly.

β€œNo, no honey, I doubt that,” you assured her, but your breath hitched as you spun in a circle. Maybe one of those straggler crazy fans did get a hold of him. Where was he? Was he okay?

β€œGeorge!” you called.

β€œMary!” Heather yelled.

We don’t mind picking up groceries, you had said. We don’t mind. We’ll be okay.

Oh god.

β€œMiss Y/N!” Heather said suddenly, pulling on your sleeve. β€œMaybe he’s in the biscuit aisle because that bitch ate them all!”

You choked. Trying to hide your smile, you told her, β€œLet’s not use the b-word, okay?”

Heather furrowed her eyebrows for a moment, then her eyes widened and she nodded. β€œOhhh, okay. Sorry.”

β€œIt’s alright.”

β€œYeah, I forgot you’re American. I meant, because that bitch ate his cookies.” Heather smiled knowingly.

Your eyebrows shot up. β€œUhhh, okay. Let’s just find George and Mary, all right?”

β€œOkay!” Heather started running to the biscuitβ€”or, cookie aisle.

Sure enough, there was George, perusing the cookies, holding baby Mary with one arm and pushing the cart with the other.

β€œHi honey,” you said, dropping the cereal boxes into the cart. β€œI was worried about you. Tell me where you’re going, okay?”

β€œI’m not Heather,” he grumbled.

You gave him a look and his face fell. β€œOh. I’m sorry, love. I will next time.”

You kissed him, making Heather squeal. β€œEw! Gross.” But she was smiling.

George ruffled her hair. β€œYou’re very cute, yknow that?”

β€œYeah!” she agreed. β€œMary too.”

George laughed. β€œMary too.”

Your heart swelled. He was so gentle with her. Oh, it was so sweet. You loved him so much.

β€œYn, I think we have everything,” he told you, snapping you out of it.

β€œAlright. Come on, Heather,” you told her, holding out your hand. She latched onto it and skipped with you down the aisle.

George started handing groceries to the cashier, who thankfully didn’t recognize the two of you through your disguises.

β€œHey, what are we gonna do when we get home?” Heather asked.

β€œI don’t know, honey,” George told her. β€œWe could watch a movie.”

β€œOr play a board game,” you said pointedly, but you were smiling.

The cashier was smiling too. β€œShe’s adorable. You two make wonderful parents.”

Your eyes widened.

β€œOh, thank you,” George said smoothly, grabbing the bags and taking Heather’s hand. β€œHave a good day. Hare Krishna.”

You drove home, and George made dinner while you had Heather pick out some board games she wanted to play. All through the drive home, you couldn’t stop thinking about the cashier’s assumption.

You stood behind George at the stove, watching him. β€œGeo?”

β€œYes, love?”

β€œYou remember what that cashier said, right?” You held your breath.

George stopped cooking, then turned the stove off and faced you. β€œI do. I’ve been thinking about it too.”

β€œShould we.... try?” you said softly.

George smiled a little. β€œI’d like that very much.”

Your face broke into a grin. β€œI want to have a baby with you.”

β€œMe too,” George said, his face lighting up, beaming. β€œWe’re going to have a baby.”

You let out a scream and threw your arms around him. β€œI love you.”

β€œI love you too,” he whispered, kissing you and hugging you tighter.

Heather walked in, balancing six board games. β€œI brought six, cause that’s how old I am. What’s with you guys?”

You sobbed, a smile lighting your face. β€œWe’re going to have a baby.”
