Does it ever occur to anyone that had they not been shitty siblings who chose to lock away the only Mikaelson that didn't like vampirism (Finn), they might have known about Freya and Dahlia a lot sooner given Finn watched his aunt take his sister away and knew why? Imagine if he had been around during the early 1920s when during that one year period Freya was awake, I don't doubt she would've have came forward to him. And if Hope was still born, knew it was a matter of time until Dahlia came looking for Freya and his niece.

Fr, I absolutely love the Mikaelson family, I think they're great characters (all of them, and great characters is not ≠ good people, because they're awful people).

But the way they treated Finn (and literally other single person who doesn't share their blood or didn't take Nik's shit) was just awful, and genuinely cruel. This also could lead to how poorly they treated Kol, but that's another whole post.

Like, Finn was in my opinion the only sibling that didn't deserve to die (I love Elijah, Klaus and Kol, but they were- eh), especially considering that he just got caught up in his family toxic dynamic (he didn’t have to try to kill Hope tho) and the fact that he was daggered just because he "was boring" never set right with me.

It's almost sad, because as you said, if he hadn't been daggered, the whole Dahlia thing could have been avoided, Freya would have been in the family a lot before (but she could have died without meeting Keelin, but I don't remember really well the whole Freya immortality and how it worked) and Hope would probably still have been born.

I enjoy spoiling you

Klaus has been encouraging me to pick out as many different outfits as possible. Since we had been together he was nothing but eager to throw his money at me but I wasn’t exactly used to this kind of spending and the price tags were making me feel sick.

I nervously checked how much the little sundress that had caught my eye was. My lips parted in surprise, i could get the exact same looking dress for £12 in a different shop. I quickly walked away back to Klaus, his arm circling me instantly and pulling me close

“Did you find something you like?” He asked softly with a smile and i shook my head timidly

“I don’t think i need anything else, we’ve already gotten loads” i told him glancing at the man who was carrying our things, apparently it was his job and Klaus would be paying him

“Sweetheart you’ve barely chosen anything, remember you can pick anything you like, formal, casual, you can get some pyjamas too?” His voice was encouraging and i felt silly, like a child. He must’ve noticed my frown as he took my face in his hands

“I want you to be happy and comfortable love, i enjoy spoiling you, i never know what to spend my money on, let me buy you something to make you smile” he kissed my lips gently before pulling away and petting my hair

“Klaus, i like that you want me to be happy but i can be comfy in much cheaper clothes- even if it’s just a but cheaper! But please don’t spend a ridiculous amount on a summer dress” I practically begged and he glanced over my shoulder

“That one over there?” He asked and I followed his eye line and nodded reluctantly. Straight away i was being pulled to where it was, his arm around my waist nearly dragging me as I protested that i didn’t want it. He checked the price and picked it up passing it to the man for the ‘buying’ pile

“Klaus-“

“Hush love let me” he muttered and kissed me again to silence me

“But-“

“You’ll look gorgeous in your new outfits” he whispered

“Can we go home now?” I asked shyly

“Without accessories? Of course not love, Rebekah may scream. Now tell me would you rather be shopping with me or my sister?” I blinked at him for a second. Rebekah would have me trying everything on and buying the entire shop

“You…” I uttered and he nodded

“Exactly, now come we have many other shops in this area, we can drive anywhere you’d like” his eyes were hopeful and i nodded slowly

“Okay but this can’t be a regular thing” he grinned like the cheshire cat and hurried me to the till

“Special occasions- an average Tuesday whatever you like, for today just see what you like and you can have it”

I found myself smiling at him as he brought me to the many jewellery shops, i managed to convince him to try on a range of brightly coloured necklaces- tiaras and such. Eventually we got home and i collapsed on his bed with a groan

“My feet hurt” I muttered and he breathed a laugh as he slid my shoes off for me

“How about we try the new bath salts we bought? Then you can get into your fluffy clothes” he lifted me up as he dug through one of the bags to grab the salts

“We didn’t buy anything, it was all you” I reminded

“My money is your money now my love, that is why you have this-“ he tucked a black card into my hand and i gaped up at him, still held bridal style in his arms

“No-“

“Yes”

“But-“

“But yes”

“What if-“

“Just say yes” he breathed with a toothy grin

“I’ll just say okay and slip it back to you later” i mumbled and he growled in his throat

“I can be very creative in ways i get you to accept this” he whispered to my ear and a shiver ran down my spine

“Is that a threat?” I asked and he hummed

“Don’t worry love, it’s one you will most certainly enjoy”

Pouting

You don’t expect the Original hybrid to be a pouter but he absolutely is

The first time you ever saw him pout was the day you met him. He met you through Damon in the grille one day while in the middle of a verbal threat. You drew his eyes away from the elder Salvatore when you greeted him and Damon absolutely used it to his advantage, as you walked out with the younger vampire the hybrid pouted watching you walk away

Whenever anyone took your attention off of him, no matter the situation, he was mad about it. When you listen as Elijah tells you a story, knowing you enjoy hearing the eldest Original speak about their adventures in their early days, he pouts. When you are snuck away from him while he paints by Kol who wants you to take him somewhere fun in this new century or ‘practice’ baseball with him (which is just you tossing a ball and watching him hit it so hard it sheds the skin), he pouts. When Rebekah drags you out of bed when he’s trying to have lazy morning snuggles with you (his favorite kind of snuggles) so that she can have someone to go shopping with and tell her what looks good on her, he pouts.

You tease him about how grumpy he is regularly which just makes him pout more and insist he’s ‘not grumpy’ anytime that he very clearly is.

You love his pout, telling him he often looks like a sad puppy and at first he denies it, not wanting to seem weak or desperate but eventually he figures out how it makes you feel and uses it to his advantage and though it took him a while to realize through his pride, now he uses it to manipulate you almost constantly.

When you want to go out with your friends for a girls day and all he wants is to lounge in bed with you for a rare ‘off day’, he pouts. Whenever one of his family members tries to steal you away for absolutely any reason, he pouts. When you want to be alone or have a few minutes by yourself but he’s feeling needy, he pouts. And don’t let anyone tell you that Klaus Mikaelson isn’t needy because that is a bold faced LIE! It would take a long time to get there but once he loves you and comes to truly depend on you, he is a needy man desperate for your attention.

Only you would ever get to tease him about it, anyone else is quick to get their hearts torn from their chest or their neck snapped in Kol’s case.

But you absolutely adore your Hybrids cute little pout and those matching puppy dog eyes
