It bugs me how in the fairy extra, Marcille seems to be wearing the canary uniform

Or at least I think she is, but like, why?

I also thought this was in the past because I thought for the longest time that Marcille was 80

I think she actually is! She's in pajamas being interrogated by the canaries, so I think pattadol gave her the cape so she can feel a little more covered. Before pattadol had the cape on and Marcille didn't and then after Marcille has the cape and Pattadol doesn't.
