A lot of the beauty of Psychonauts 2 is that the reason these people never sought help (despite living in an HQ of trained psychics who could go into their brains at any time to "fix" things) because everyone treated them as afterthoughts or just crazy old people or figureheads

and then this kid comes along and kindly asks to go in their brains and is very sincere and intentional in helping them sort through their issues

ppl often overlook how sweet a kid raz is imo like the reason he goes and helps so many people in one day is like 1. Obviously, He's the protagonist and player character, so. and 2. He's a GOOD KID who's always Wanted to be a psychic hero

You go in brains and are compassionate and willing to interact with and understand the brain and the denizens within, THAT'S what's truly healing
