you have no idea how much i started foaming at the mouth when I saw this request. I'm so behind on asks tbh but slowly getting them done. Somehow this was a little tough to write but yippee

DOWNFALL

If you're a human she lovesss having you sitting on her shoulder. Just don't get too close to her shoulder canon (or do) it can get quite warm

Not a fan of PDA because omg, her reputation!! But won't stop you from initiating it. In private though, will not let you go, ever.

if you're a bot that shorter than her, she's gonna try picking you up just for funsies, no arguments. Out of no where too

If you're taller than her welllll, she'll good as hell try

her silly lil quirk is at an all-time high around you. If you feel someone looking at you, 9 times out of 10 you'll see her gazing at you and her scope just zoomed in. Depending on how long you've been together, she'll either quickly look away or continue doing it with a smug expression

Even though she hasn't used her alt mode in years, you're definitely the only one she trusts enough to work with her alt mode. Only if absolutely necessary. (it hurts to fully transform pls be there to soothe her afterward)

The type you can sit in comfortable silence with. Although theres a 70% chance she’ll suddenly remember a memory and bring it up very cryptically (you’re chilling next to each other, suddenly she looks up and says “the rusted pipe👁” or something)

Also expect playful bickering

This goes for all of them but you’re immediately introduced to MotorRaid and A-Strike. You have three personal body guards now and one who’s specifically in love with you

MOTOR RAID

Surprisingly gentle for the same reason, he's a large bot that can get ahead of himself quite often. Would never hurt his partner but would do anything for them

Also, someone who loves spoiling you?? Will give you meaningful trinkets that are probably hundreds of years old with a cool story attached to them. Also brings you anything that reminds him of you. If you love collecting or hoarding like he does, his collection of items is suddenly shared with you too

if you give him something...now you know how to make a grown mech cry. keeps it in a special space where he wont lose it

I feel like he'd be very flexible too, as in, if you're someone who needs their independence he's cool with that. If you're someone who loves spending time together, also cool with that.

PDA, affection...also very very okay

always tries to do new things he hears of btw (writing poems is romantic? = will write you really bad poems from his spark. Making personalized gifts? = he was never involved with building things but will make something out of all his little items that probably fall apart with one gust of wind)

A-STRIKE

A first he's an absolute menace to deal with, his high standards coming into the relationship. With time, learns to deal with it and omg, maybe he'll learn how to apologize!!

Honestly,,, probably steals from his job to bring you weapons and other cool stuff. Suddenly deception weaponry starts going missing, who could it be?

His little fin things are very expressive, not that hard to tell how he's feeling.

Despite wanting to seem all tough and superior, he's so easy to fluster. Like, do something nice for him and his little fins flare up. He's thankful he has a mouthplate and visor to hide his expression, but little does he know

If someone threatens you, he whips out his blasters so quick

First to initiate PDA tbh, very affectionate in a "look everyone, I have such an amazing partner" type of way

likes going on flights with you :D if you're a flyer, he absolutely wants you to join him whenever he's completing a job

really likes to just chill with you while eating your favorite energon snacks.

He's either really chill or insists on you watching him performing tricks in his alt-mode. He has a more heavy-duty altmode so its a little difficult, fails 238389 times and when he gets it right he says he got it first try

He also has a habit of journaling everything ever since the war started. Very good way to just let go of things. Has a whole library of datapads he just documented in. Surprisingly has a beautiful way of wording things and will absolutely read you some of them

Ok so it is implied in my mind that any human on the lost light would be zippin around on roller skates. And when on roller skates you can theoretically hold onto the back of a vehicle to ZOOM ( = skitching = skate + hitching.) So THE QUESTION IS silly little headcanons for a human reader skitching w Rodimus / Tailgate / Swerve my beloved / anyone w a vehicular alt mode? Idk I just thought that would be fun :3

oh you're gonna have to hang on real tight

when you said zoom, that's exactly what this guy is gonna do

tries to get you to do tricks as you're skitching, did not go well the first time (he skid to a stop you crashed face-first into him)

after that he was a lot more careful and gave you a heads up

He still tries to get you to do tricks though, you both impress the rest of the crew quite often

It quickly became this favorite thing to do after the first time, constantly coming up to you and transforming with a "need a ride?" and happily agreeing when you're the one to ask him.

Probably gets a little jealous when you ask someone that isn't him

Expect a lot of close calls but he would never get you hurt on purpose, Ultra Magnus begs you to wear some kind of protective gear

MTMTE Tailgate

Originally hesitant when you asked him, are you sure you want to go with him? What if you get hurt, he'll never forgive himself??

After plenty of reassurance though, he agreed and found it quite fun

Laughing and giggling as you two travel along the halls together, very cute 10/10

Cue Cyclonus watching you two with intrigue, zooming away with wide smiles on your faces, he too tries to hide a small smile at the scene

something tells me he drives in little circles to be silly

If you get hurt somehow he starts panicking and accidentally transforms back to pick you up and ask if you're okay. The only problem is that he forgets you were still attached and you go shooting up into the air

very normal and civilized skitching buddy but will zoom through the LL if you ask him to

MTMTE Swerve

He desperately wishes you could deliver drinks with him around his bar while skitching, how cool would it be if you two just drove around and handed bots their drinks one after the other?

So excited though, also has a lot of fun as you join him and cruise with him around the ship

He for sure convinces you to be silly around the ship, messing with Magnus or other bots and just as quickly leaving the room unnoticed

I think he also accidentally transforms while you're still holding onto him. You're like, screaming as you hold onto him for dear life and he keeps turning around in circles trying to find you (you swinging around and begging for him to stop moving)

Despite all the silly shenanigans, he still obviously goes out of his way to make sure you're safe and comfortable.

Probably tells you about the latest drama or stories as you're cruising around to keep you entertained, also because Swerve tells you everything
