A/N: Wow my first post. Alright. Let’s do this! Just a quick cute drabble. It’s a little cheesy, but I had fun writing it, so I hope you enjoy!

The doorbell rings as you pull the last picture frame out of the now empty box at your feet.

“Can someone get that please?” You call out to the house.

“Got it!” You hear someone call back, it sounded like Jin.  A few seconds later you see a head of blonde hair rush past you to open the door, confirming your assumption.

As you place the picture frame on the mantelpiece, situating it perfectly in its place you hear a ‘thank you’ and the door closes next to you.  “Aish, the amount of money I spend on you people…”

“Perfect!” You call out, ignoring Jin’s muttering while you smile at your handiwork. “We’re finally finished!”

“We just finished setting up the bed too, so I guess we really are done.” Jin mentions. 

“I’ll pay you back for the food later Oppa.” You offer, the both of you walking to the kitchen, but he holds up his hand to halt your words.

“Guys, food!” He calls out, and you instantly hear several sets of feet rushing to meet you in the dining room.

As the six other boys enter, you can’t help but smile at their sweaty faces, grateful for the effort they had put in that day. Caught up in your thoughts, you don’t notice that someone snuck around behind you until a pair of arms wrap tightly around your waist. You turn your head and catch a glance of some red hair.

Your heart broke for him. What else could you say? As his blonde hair disappeared beneath the surface of the waves, the last glimmer of sunlight reflected back into your eyes and he sank lower. You saw it all happen, as much as you hate to admit it, you’d been watching him, so when he disappeared under the water and didn’t immediately resurface, your curiosity got the best of you.

You shouldn’t have done it. You shouldn’t have gone after him, but something about him drew you in. Maybe it was his smile, they way his lips became angular every time he laughed; maybe it was his golden skin, the same color as the sand on the very beach you stood on as you searched for any sign of life; maybe it was his personality, the way he seemed to make everyone laugh so effortlessly; maybe it was because you didn’t want him to feel the pain you knew all too well. Whatever it was, it dragged you out into the waves after him, nearly exposing your identity in the process.

Part one – the Cat

                                     “Well! I’ve often seen a cat without a grin,’ thought Alice

          ‘but a grin without a cat! It’s the most curious thing I ever saw in my life!” 

Grass tickles on her cheek, over her lips, and suddenly the girl’s lashes flutter open.

She leans on her palms as the legs fold under the bluish skirt of her dress and her eyes try to adapt to the dusky light. In the tilting of her head, fair hair slides along petite shoulders like silk, eliciting the tiniest of shivers on her spine: the twilight air is cold, and the starlit strands over the bare skin only enhance the chilly sensation.

It’s not exactly unpleasant, though.  

The girl raises on her feet, and her head spins a bit once she stands tall under the crescent moon; one hand flies to the left side of her forehead, palm pressing down to attenuate the low pulsing in her temple.
