Groaning, you walked into sorority house your best friend belonged to, you caught sight of her sitting at the table right by the stage. Rolling your eyes in annoyance, you parted through the crowd, calling your friend’s name as you reached her.
“Hey! You’re late, Y/n!” She informs you, moving her purse out of the chair intended for you to sit in. You push the white tablecloth out of the way, allowing you to sit down without dragging the tablecloth, dinnerware, and candles into your lap.
“How am I late? I didn’t want to come in the first place,” you reply sourly folding your arms across your chest to look up at the stage and see your best guy friend, Jimin Park on the stage. From beside you Rose raises her auction paddle, making you sigh in discontent. It was obvious to pretty much everyone on campus that Rose and Jimin were crushing on each other, obvious to everyone except them apparently. Here she was spending money on him when she could have him for free if she just confessed.

There were times when you hated being a hybrid.

Generally though, the stigma about being part fox left people weary of you, which doesn’t bother you in the slightest. Your friends knew you were playful and kind, though you preferred your space and time to yourself and accepted that which you were grateful for.
