note | This is a little short oneshot based on Tae Tae’s cooking in the BTS Run episodes! Sorry it took so long! It’s been delayed for a couple weeks now, but it’s finally out. Please leave feedback, if you can, on this one because right now I feel like I write better short fluff stories rather than long oneshot ones, so I’m a bit worried for this one. Anyway, I hope you like it!

summary: Your boyfriend was always unconfident about his cooking skills, so when you finally get to taste his dish and he ask you what you think, how should you reply?

Loud clashes of pots and pans rudely stir you awake from your deep, peaceful slumber. Small strips of sunlight peeked through the curtains of your bedroom, leaving little streams of light on the bed. The birds chirping outside the bedroom window sang and the left side of your bed was bare. The only thing left behind were ruffled marks of a good night’s rest scattered across the bed.

You open your eyes and smile gently to yourself, the smooth bed sheets have a comfortable cool feeling against your skin. You move your hands over your eyes, rubbing the tiredness away. The noisy commotion outside your room ceases to disturb your morning and a quiet yawn escapes your mouth as you stretch your body. The muscles of your body were sore and ached from the position you had slept in, making it harder for you to move. Your legs rub together and unintentionally pull down your blanket to expose your soft skin. You sit up and reach for your phone to check the time, pulling your blanket around you once again to provide you warmth.

10: 24 am

Now what was your boyfriend, a man who does not wake up till at least 11: 30 am, doing in the kitchen at 10: 24 am instead of in bed showering you with morning kisses? You toss your phone back on the bed and sit there, enjoying the blissful atmosphere.

It takes you a couple seconds to think of any particular reason why he would be up this early. Did he suddenly have work? Why was he in the kitchen though? Was he washing the dishes that you asked him to clean last night? You let out a massive moan this time as you rub your eyes again, tiredly.

You hear a sizzling sound coming from your kitchen and smell the strong scent of meat that travels to your bedroom, making you whiff the air again in desire. Your eyes widen when you realize what he was doing, or rather what he did. Your boyfriend, Kim Taehyung, had cooked you breakfast? Was he finally going to show off his cooking skills? You were pulled away from your thoughts when the man of the hour arrived, stealing your attention instantly.
