I Still Genuinely Believe That Fiddlestan Is A Better Pairing Than Fiddauthor Lol. Like Tbh I Find It

i still genuinely believe that fiddlestan is a better pairing than fiddauthor lol. like tbh i find it more interesting and layered and like i'm not going to deny that fiddauthor has layers and shit but i never really saw the pair as romantic, it more felt to me like ford finally getting the companionship he craved to have with stan but since fiddleford more matched his interests, it was easier for them to become close friends with each other. fiddlestan though it shows less interactions between the two barring only a few, the concept of it just appeals to me more. especially when you add on the idea of fiddleford not understanding why "ford" (stan) is acting different but from a far and obviously the memory issues but him kinda seeing him and remembering ford but not understanding much. like i don't think fiddleford forgot everything about ford even with the memory gun. though nothing is ever really mentioned about the two interacting much, i can see stan and fiddleford seeing each other in passing over the years and possibly growing a fondness for each other before maybe thinking less so, or at least stan hiding any feelings he may have like he typically does.

i'm not saying that fiddauthor doesn't sound sweet or tragic but there's just something about it that i Don't see.
