Guys I don’t thing you quite understand ARO SPEC LILY??

Lily evans; she’s ached for someone to love someone the way James seems to love her but it’s never felt quite right so surely his affections were a sham (an annoying one at that when he just never gets the hint), she knows that romantic love is supposed to be magical and perfect and something unmatched to the familial love she knows

Lily evans; the girl who was doomed to not have her sisters or brother (why couldn’t petunia understand magic was never something that should have sent them apart, but now has lest she puts her sister in danger? Why did she and Mary stop really talking when she became reluctant friends with James potter? Why had mary’s family been murdered, why had they drifted apart in a war? Why had Severus turned his back on her, on them, to join a facist group searching for more violence?) who she loved so dearly but was never truly reciprocated in the same way

Lily evans; who couldn’t fathom that it was really her closest friends who have been doomed to romantically fall in love with her despite it being unrequited, but loving them nonetheless

Lily evans; choosing James bc it’s what ‘makes sense’ as a woman back in the 70s, they’re entering the chaotic world of adulthood while their society is on the cusp of war and she’s a minority and who knows what might happen, and he’s been waiting for so long so she can’t just ice him out bc then she’s heartless and a heartbreaker and that’s not true

Lily potter; she loves and she loves deeply so surely James’ love can teach her that she can grow to love him the same way she’s always dreamed of loving someone because she knows she capable of loving so much she just needs to know how it feels in these trying times where her friends her getting hurt and dying and she can’t do anything about it but be terrified and love them through it all

Lily potter; a mother, a young one at that, and she’ll never regret harry (her darling boy her whole world who has taught her another love incomparable to her platonic love), but sometimes she can’t help but wonder what would have happened if she never chose James and there was never a war and could just be lily evans, brightest witch of her age

Lily potter; the girl, barely a woman, who never quite got there in the end, but her love never ran dry. No, her love was devotion, devotion to her family, her darling son. A love that ran so strongly it surpassed even the forces of death, overpowering a great evil borne of no true love and befuddling the world. Because in the end, romantic love isn’t everything. Lily evans, brightest witch of her age, who loved and has been loved and who will always love; just not in that way.

Reblogging so more can see, I’ve seen your ask and I hope that this helps bring visibility!!

I'm Aseel Al-Turk, a girl from the beloved Gaza Strip, the place I adore and feel deeply connected to with pride. I spent all 19 years of my life there. I grew up and learned everything in Gaza. I finished high school with distinction, scoring 98%, achieving my dreams and aspirations with dedication and hard work. I entered my dream university in Gaza amidst overwhelming joy and hope for a bright future awaiting me there, but my joy wasn't complete

This is my high school diploma

I'm Aseel Al-Turk, A Girl From The Beloved Gaza Strip, The Place I Adore And Feel Deeply Connected To

In the first days of my university life, war broke out and everything was turned upside down. People were fleeing, souls were searching for a safe haven, while I felt helpless, surrendering to my unknown fate. The war destroyed my university and my homeland.

I'm Aseel Al-Turk, A Girl From The Beloved Gaza Strip, The Place I Adore And Feel Deeply Connected To

The destruction stretched as far as the eye could see, with the terrifying sound of bombings and planes filling the sky. There was no safe place, no refuge to escape. I lost my safe home and everything we owned. My dad, our sole breadwinner, couldn't provide for us anymore I lost my beloved dog Rex, and all I have left is my cat Lisa. I lost my uncle and his sons. The war took away my friends and loved ones

I'm Aseel Al-Turk, A Girl From The Beloved Gaza Strip, The Place I Adore And Feel Deeply Connected To

I felt powerless and hopeless, but hope never left me. It's what kept me going, facing challenges with courage and determination. I created this link to save my family from this hell, to pursue my dreams outside of Gaza.

Gaza, the city I knew and loved, turned into ruins and rubble. It's nothing but painful memories and shattered dreams now. Schools, universities, hospitals—all destroyed. They took away everything that made us feel safe and stable.

I'm Aseel Al-Turk, A Girl From The Beloved Gaza Strip, The Place I Adore And Feel Deeply Connected To

My heart breaks for Gaza, for its people who lost everything in this unjust war. All I'm asking for is my basic rights—to live safely with my family without fear of the next moment or the sound of destructive shells.

My family consists of seven members: my father, mother,my sister (Aman)22 years old , brothers( Mohammed )23 years old ,(Ahmad) 24 years old and the youngest,( Hadi) 16 years old . This is a picture of all of us together at my graduation ceremony, a moment we'll always cherish.

My only hope lies in this link, a link that means life or death for my family. Please, help me save my family from death, as time is running out and I'm helpless to do anything else

We were recently forced to evacuate for the seventh time from Rafah to Nuseirat. Here is a video of the evacuation.

Please help share my story with as many people as possible. My only hope is this link. I just want to save my family from danger.

I don’t know guys I think that if I’m in an mmorpg war zone game with the hand-eye coordination of a toddler, I’m more likely to be wary of and die because the opposite team rather than my own team I’ve known for years and who hate the fact that I’m a shit player - even if the opposing team treats their own shit players nicely and would maybe help me out so they can get info out of me and win the game

We’ve put pride month on pause in solidarity of other prominent injustices and similarly marginalised groups before, we can and will do it again until there’s no need to. There is no queer liberation without solidarity. There is no pride in genocide. None of us are free until all of us are free

As pride month begins, let us not forget our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

That’s an entirely irrelevant answer did you even read my question because it could NOT have taken you less than a minute to both read my entire post, type that out and post it 💀💀 you didn’t even address anything I asked?? How is your reading comprehension this low 💀

I’m actually laughing so hard at this you clearly can’t respond to a very clear question, I’m leaving this now bc it’s so useless and I have a life outside of tumblr byeee xoxo 💋 🍉

None of us are free until all of us are free

So I’ve recently remembered that I have a linktree which I haven’t actually used since like 2020/2021, so perfect place to share some of my saved links to support Palestine right? I suppose you can imagine my surprise when I already find a “FREE PALESTINE” header, one I don’t remember adding as a teen in the throes of lockdown and high school, right at the bottom.

I won’t try and pretend like I do remember adding any such thing, or sharing calls for donations for drinking water for Gaza, or for a hospital in East Jerusalem. I won’t act as if I had done the right thing and educated myself, because if I had back then, maybe I might’ve gotten involved in the criticism of Zionism and Israel whole lot sooner into the influx of atrocities and war crimes they’ve committed in “retaliation”. And maybe I would’ve understood just how much control the Israeli have had over the Palestinians sooner, for why would they have needed funds for suitable drinking water in early 2021? And maybe I would’ve known why I was sharing a call for aid for Al Makassed Hospital, which was raided by IOF soldiers dressed as women who sound bombed the area, killing 150 and injuring 600 Palestinians mid-2021. And maybe I would’ve known of Al Quds Open University, of which the hospital was associated with, and was bombed in November last year.

And sure, I could go on, but I won’t. Because the babies burned and decapitated and dismembered in the bombings in UNICEF’s camps in Rafah, the “designated safe zone”, and in their homeland wouldn’t have been alive then, let alone grow to learn from their elders who would have lived through it. Little Hind Rajab, who would’ve been alive then but too young to truly recall, won’t care, because she was murdered alone with her already dead relatives and two brave men who were meant to be allowed to save her. The innocent bodies marred by this so called “war”, the bleak eyes cursed by death, the broken bodies and immovable spirits of displaced persons seeking safety from the greed of the world - they won’t be thinking of matters of the past.

I genuinely don’t know what to think anymore. My heart aches for the Palestinians, as it does for the Congolese and the Sudanese and the Uyghurs and all victims of the manifestations of the greed of humanity. All I can wish for is for humanity to open their eyes, their hearts, to properly watch our world burn and feel the same aches as I do, as so little yet so many do. To take those aches and build the world anew, not from rubble, but from the foundations of our collective morals and drive against injustice and for a sustainable future.

And maybe I’ve written too much and no one will truly read this all, especially since I haven’t entirely censored myself here. But I refuse to put the effort in to make a tldr because I want people to read this all, I want to see just how far my voice can and will go.

The Operation Olive Branch spreadsheet is at the top of my linktree, right under the ‘FREE PALESTINE’ header that started these thoughts. If you’d like to look at the links I mentioned, I’ve kept them as the bottom three, I overall encourage you to research into them if you have the mental capacity to, or to at least keep up to date with the world today. I most likely won’t be updating that linktree again, so please seek other accounts and people who have more resources and material to keep educated.

As always, none of us are free until all of us are free. Choose the right side of history, make a stand against injustice.

Okay, so all of the hostages are released (I’m assuming you’re only talking ab the Israeli ones and NOT the hundreds of Palestinian ones)… Then what?? Israel says “thanks, we’re done with this now we have our people back, we’ll leave you Palestinians alone now”?

I don’t understand your point, explain it to me dumb-style bc apparently my itty bitty moronic pea brain can’t comprehend your big words: what would happen after all the hostages are returned and how does that relate to my original post acknowledging the control Israel has over key resources necessary for survival (eg. water, food, shelter) in Palestine (both in the past and obviously in the present), and calling for a permanent ceasefire and freedom of marginalised peoples across the world??

Give me the same energy babycakes, I put together TWO concisely worded responses to you, one with links to articles that you probably didn’t bother to check out. I’m here to have a conversation right now, not talk at you or anyone else who happens upon my posts. So give me a proper response and spend time on it, not the equivalent of a disapproving “hrm” in response to my genuine points. Did you even read my post before replying because it’d be pretty moronic not to, it’s literally just me bringing awareness to how prevalent groups/governments/etc in power are taking advantage of and exploiting marginalised groups for resources/land/etc across the world

Oh and btw I think the word you were looking for was ‘oblivious’ not obvious, though I guess that makes you the oblivious one for not catching that in ur reblog.

I’ll give you credit though, you responded super fast! Just over 30mins after I dignified you with a response out of the kindness of my heart. You must be online often so your brain is a little fried, it happens to the best of us. The number posts you comment on and the number of blogs you manage might attest to that too, that’s a lot of work - this is the only blog I manage and you’re the only one I’m really interacting with on here but I’m already knackered out of this app now that I’ve written this.

Touch some grass outside, drink some water and sleep! It helps boost your energy and to detoxify you mentally by getting you away from technology and social media and giving you chances to have a life outside of snide remarks to other users and apathy towards the suffering of other people regardless of who they are. If you can only feel empathy and advocate for one small group suffering and not multiple, you’re too mentally exhausted to research and educate yourself

(I’ll clarify that when I say “people regardless of who they are”, I am not specifying Hamas or Nazis, y’all love to immediately think of them when pro-Palestinians and associates raise awareness for the many other marginalised groups. Like, pause your browsing through the Palestine tag to find someone to fight, and actually learn about other injustices around the world like in the DRC, Sudan, Haiti, Tigray, Hawaii etc instead. No one is forcing you to be here, use your time wisely)

Toodles and take care, I’m not awaiting your response so take your time or don’t bother at all! Hope I don’t speak to you again because I actually have things to do, and that this response reaches other people because I’m still actively spreading awareness by encouraging you and others to research matters of the world, xoxo 💋🍉

Haha ur so funny I wish that was something proposed multiple times… oh wait, it was and the Israeli government rejected all of them because a permanent ceasefire is apparently ‘too far’ of a negotiation.

If you take a quick moment, one definitely shorter than the time it took for you to read my post and the time you spend on tumblr of all sites, you’d find that there are Israeli citizens (most of whom who have family and close ones held hostage) PROTESTING their own government for not doing anything for the hostages and getting them back when given the many chances to do so

I’ll take pity on you and give you these few to start, the last one is just about the protests against BiBi’s gov even before oct 7: link 1, link 2, link 3, link 4, link 5

Hope that helps you comprehend that it was never about the hostages babes, but rather a greedy, heartless endeavour to colonise and profit off a genocide!

Until then, muah get educated and recover soon xx ❤️💋🍉

Don't let the media make what's happening with Israel, Iran and Jordan into some "middle-east problem" again. This was entirely orchestrated and encouraged by the US and the UK. Israel initiated every attack against Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, and Iran. Israel KILLED, targeted, the children and grandchildren of Palestinians political leaders. And the US could've stopped all of this by simply not giving Israel money and weapons bu they didn't.

The Western media has constructed this narrative that countries like Iraq and Iran are the problem and the western nations are the antidote keeping their 'terrorism' at bay. No, they have always and at all times started the conflicts, or worsened them.

Because they want the land, they want hegemony over the resources of that region and that is it. And they've demonstrated already by killing over 33,000 people that they'll do anything.

Stop joking about World War 3 and take the loss of lives and the horror of what is happening seriously. This cannot keep escalating
